Today there is a lot more awareness about skin cancer and treatments than there was 20 years ago. Doctors are better prepared to treat skin cancer but what happens when the cancer cell is on your face. What are your options and who should you go to, to treat it from beginning to end? Dr. Rady talks to one of his patients, Bernadette who developed skin cancer right on her nose. She couldn’t imagine have a dime size scar right in front and center of her face. Join Dr. Rady as he explains the differences between the treatments for cancer when it develops on your body to when it grows on your face. Many experts who treat skin cancer remove it and then close it themselves or have one of their team members close it, but is that really the optimal option? It might be the easiest and quickest way to deal with it but it isn’t always the best option. Bernadette takes us on her journey and tells us how and why she decided to see a plastic surgeon to close and fix her scar once her cancer was removed.  It’s an amazing episode you won’t want to miss.
