Sometimes the shortest messages carry the most profound weight. After the controversial Diddy verdict sent ripples through survivor communities, many wondered if speaking truth to power still matters in a system that often protects the wealthy and influential. This episode stands as both shield and sword—defending those feeling discouraged while cutting through the noise with a message of unwavering resolve.

"They still don't understand the resilience of a survivor," I remind my listeners, speaking directly to warriors at every stage of their journey. Whether you're the loud voice demanding legislative change, the quiet support for a friend in crisis, or someone still trapped in the fight of your life, this community sees you. We acknowledge the brutal reality of 2025's challenges: protection rollbacks, resource cuts, and systems that weren't built for survivors. Yet these obstacles only strengthen our determination.

The heart of this episode beats with a simple truth: survivor resilience isn't accidental but forged through fire. When powerful men escape consequences, we don't retreat—we regroup. We carve paths for those still lost in darkness, carry those too tired to stand, and speak for those reduced to whispers. If you're exhausted today, let the rest of us shoulder the weight until you're ready to rejoin the fight. Because after everything we've survived, do they really think another disappointment will silence us now?

Between heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and exciting announcements about upcoming guests and community initiatives, this episode serves as both balm and battle cry. Whatever brought you to this community—whether personal experience or professional commitment—remember that your voice matters, your presence strengthens us all, and you are never, ever alone in this fight. Subscribe now to join our growing community of warriors committed to creating the change we need to see.

Hi Warriors, welcome to 1 in 3, I'm your host, ingrid
.
This is going to be a reallyshort episode, not because I
don't have a lot to say you knowI'm rarely at a loss for words
but because sometimes less ismore.
Before we dive in, I just wantto say thank you.

(00:22):
I just want to say thank you.
The support, encouragement andthe feedback, especially after
last week's episode, has meantthe world to me truly.
I also want to let you in on afew things I've been working on.
There are some incredibleguests coming your way, people

(00:44):
with insights and expertise Iknow we all need to hear.
I'm also looking into ways toconnect with you more directly,
because this community, itmatters.

too.

(01:06):
Now back to this episode.
The heart of this message isfor my fellow survivors and
victims of domestic violence.
I want these words to landexactly where they need to right
there with you, where they needto right there with you.

(01:30):
I'm recording this in theaftermath of the Diddy verdict.
I know I said in my lastepisode I wasn't really
following the case and I wasn'tand I didn't.
But once the verdict came downand I found myself obviously
disagreeing with it down and Ifound myself obviously
disagreeing with it I had tojump down that rabbit hole just
a little, because that rulinghit hard.

(01:51):
But this isn't going to be arecap or explanation.
That's what Google is for.
I want to talk about thepredictions being made.
People are saying this willdiscourage future victims from
speaking out.
I think I even said that andyeah, it could, but only if we

(02:15):
let it and we can't let it.
Listen, 2025 has come outswinging High-profile cases,
mishandled guns handed back toabusers with felony charges,
legislation threatening to undothe protections we've fought so
hard for, and vital resourcesstripped away.

(02:38):
But this isn't the first timewe've been knocked down, is it?
Some of us were physically helddown, some at gunpoint, some at
knife point.
Others were shatteredemotionally, mentally,
spiritually.
Some walked away with nothingno financial safety, no legal

(03:01):
protection, no support, just theclothes on their backs and a
system that wasn't built for us.
And yet we survived.
You survived, and not byaccident.
Maybe you're the quiet voicenow supporting a friend.
Maybe you're the loud voicebanging on the doors of

(03:25):
legislation.
Maybe you're still in the fightof your life barely hanging on.
I see you and I'm with you.
And if you're too tired to keepgoing today, let the rest of us
carry the weight for a littlewhile, because after everything
they failed to do to us, do theyreally think we're going to

(03:48):
back down now Just becauseanother wealthy man reminded the
world that justice still bendsfor the powerful?
Absolutely not.
They still don't understand theresilience of a survivor, the
fire in the heart of a warrior.
We don't back down.

(04:09):
Instead, we carve a path forthose still lost in the dark, we
carry the ones too tired tostand, we speak out for those
whose voices have been silencedto whispers, and we never, ever,

(04:32):
let the ones whose lives werelost be forgotten.
This is for them, for you, forme, for all of us.
So gear up, warriors.
We've got work to do.
Thank you for listening.
I'll be back with a regularepisode next week.
Until then, stay strong andwherever you are in your journey

(04:57):
