The job of parenting is never over but knowing how to parent your adult child can be hard, especially in today's challenging environment.
Do you give them money?
Do you share your opinion?
How do you communicate with them to nurture a relationship that is healthy and happy during changing times?
Dr. Laurence Steinberg has devoted his 45-year career to the study of the parent/child relationship.
He is a Distinguished University Professor and the Laura H. Carnell Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Temple University.
He is the author or editor of more than a dozen best-selling books on adolescents’ development and family relationships and one of the world’s leading developmental psychologists with an expertise in the adolescent mind. For the first time he is focusing his research on the adult child.
His latest book, You and Your Adult Child. How To Grow Together In Challenging Times is a guide for parents who want to know how to interact and communicate with their adult children to foster a supportive and positive relationship.
Dr. Laurence Steinberg joins me today to share his research and his knowledge on how to navigate this time.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
