Episode 18 - ABOUT ANTOINE & PETER:

Both residents of Chicagoland, Peter and Antoine first met at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet where Antoine was racing and Peter was coaching. Peter helped develop Antoine in his Radical SR3 car as he was beginning his racing career. Antoine decided to broaden his racing resume by purchasing an Indy Pro 2000 car which Peter then built for him during the winter of 2017/2018. The pair started testing the car in June last year and joined the Indy Pro 2000 series as rookies for the second half of the 2019 season.

In 2020, Turn 3 Motorsport plans to grow its Indy Pro 2000 program to a 2-3 car team and compete in their first full season in the series.

T3M is also currently competing in a full season of the Radical Cup North America

In the team?s debut season, Turn 3 Motorsport and Antoine Comeau were crowned the overall champions of the 2019 Blue Marble Cocktails Radical Cup North America series during this weekend?s finale event at Circuit of the Americas in Austin. In addition to the outright title, the rookie team swept up the 1340 and 1500 class team and driver championships with drivers Eric Wagner and Antoine Comeau.

ABOUT ANTOINE COMEAU:

Antoine Comeau is originally from Montreal, Quebec. He moved from Montreal to study at Cornell University in 2008, then to Chicago in 2010 where he currently lives and works full time as a partner for an options trading firm.

He actually didn't start racing until 2015 where he started out with some club races at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois. Then he competed in his first non-club race in 2016 and has been focused on growing his racing career since then. 

ABOUT PETER DEMPSEY & TURN 3 MOTORSPORT:

Turn 3 Motorsport is a full service operation specializing in race car preparation, engineering and driver development. Founded and managed by race car driver and coach Peter Dempsey, T3M is focused on professional service, team member growth and high level performance across multiple racing series.Peter Dempsey is an Irish race car driver, engineer and driver development leader with a lifetime of motorsport experience.

Peter began his career racing go-karts in Ireland at age 8. In 2004, he began racing competitively in the Formula Ford Series in Ireland and the UK as a driver for his father's racing team, Cliff Dempsey Racing. In 2005, he entered into his first full season of competitive racing in the Formula Ford Series where he won 33 out of the 43 races that he competed in. That same year, Peter was awarded the Motorsport Ireland Young Racing Driver of the Year Award.

In 2008, Peter moved to the USA to join the Road to Indy and pursue a career in American motorsports. Peter?s extensive racing record includes nine wins in the Indy Pro 2000 (formerly Star Mazda) Championship series and a title of Vice Champion, an Indy Lights series win that was one of the most exciting finishes in the history of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and being one of only two drivers to win the prestigious Walter Hayes Trophy three times.In addition to his own racing resume, Peter has enjoyed mentoring and coaching many drivers to reach their full potential as they climb the motorsports ladder.
