Three amateur sleuths attempt to decipher the strange events surrounding a mysterious murder from 25 years prior.
In this opening episode, Kate and Jeremy begin to explore the strange and tragic tale of Paul and Abby Stone, a young couple living in Seattle in 1995, thrown together by chance and torn apart by something much, much darker. They are joined by Jeremy's boyfriend Ted, a Seattle native who lived in the area and had several encounters with Paul and Abby and their young son Dylan.
Jeremy, Kate, and Ted conclude the tragic tale of Paul and Abby Stone, and, in doing so, open the door to a much larger mystery.
Jeremy, Kate, and Ted explore the aftermath of Abby Stone's disappearance and presumed murder. Paul Stone's acceptance of a plea deal leads to more questions than answers and the hosts dissect the various conspiracy theories and urban legends that have risen throughout the years.
The team interviews Bobby Linden, a childhood friend of Ted's and the downstairs neighbor of Paul and Abby. Bobby recounts his and his father's experiences with the strange couple while Kate tells of the strange happenings that continue to plague her apartment.
While dealing with the fallout from last week's episode and Jeremy's controversial decision to include Bobby's father, the team dives into the strange occurrences in Kate's apartment. Jeremy invites a colleague who is spiritually sensitive to do a reading of the apartment. This episode is best enjoyed at night with a single candle. We also highly recommend the use of headphones for this episode.
After the tumultuous events of last episode, Kate, Jeremy, and Ted regroup and try to bring some of the old spirit back to the show. Kate discusses her experience with sage, then introduces Zack, her building manager, the show. Zack worked in the building during the time of the crime and was a close friend of Paul and Abby's. Things take a strange turn when Zack reveals a secret about Kate's apartment.
Following the interview with Zack, Kate decides to take down the fake wall in her apartment and uncover the mirror. Ted relays the bizarre history of the mirror after speaking to a friend of his who specializes in antiquities.
The hosts interview Maureen, the bassist of Paul's band and his occasional romantic partner. We had numerous technical challenges with this episode, including some persistent noises that could not be filtered out. Our editor is working on the issue.
Warning: The end of this episode may be disturbing to some listeners but we felt it was important to include it largely unedited.
Due to last week's events, we will be taking this week off.
A somewhat recovered Jeremy returns and Kate reveals the unusual treasure she found while cleaning. Kate also discusses some new theories about the mirror she learned from some late night "Reddit-ing", while Jeremy has a surprise of his own.
The hosts bring Zack, Kate's building manager, back to the show to discuss what he saw on the Night in Question. In the course of this episode, Zack reveals new information about the mirror, about Frank Linden, and about Paul's whereabouts on that fateful night.

Kate and Jeremy invite their editor Adam to the show to discuss some of the audio irregularities that have plagued the show since the beginning.
After we finished recording last week's episode, some unexplained events happened. We're still processing it all. Until we can figure out how to move forward, we wanted to share these calls with you.
One host unconscious, another missing... and a third left to pick up the pieces. Is this the end of A Night in Question? Or just the beginning?
