A wide range of early discussions of food in the First Chapters of the Bible-Genesis and Exodus and then followed by Food Norms that were gathered from the Encyclopedia of the Bible and Bible Gateway sites. The discussions cover the early events involving Adam and Eve, Abraham and his visitors, Joseph in Egypt with harvesting the grains in abundant times to storehouse for a period of family. Joseph, also, with his brothers in a feast especially with Benjamin and Exodus passages of the Passover and feeding the Israelites in the desert. After that, it is a discussion of what is appropriate in seating and serving of the food, appropriate food and overall meal disussion.
