A member of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Brother Andre Bessette was a Doorkeeper, Sacristan and in lowly positions in his order. Yet, he had an intense devotion to St. Joseph, the stepfather of Jesus. People flocked to him for advise and help and his concerns were with the poor and sick always. Doctors criticized him, his superiors were skeptical but Andre gave full credit to Saint Joseph. In this episode, I refer to a Bishop as referring Andre as "I am sending you a Saint". Actually, it was his Pastor, a Father Andre. Also, I refer to the order as Congregation of the Holy Cross-it is actually just Congregation of Holy Cross. Brother Andre led an Interesting life!!
