You may have been told that you are sensitive as a child or even as an adult and did not understand why you felt things deeply. Perhaps people around seem to coast through life without regard for others or being affected by emotions and events as you do.
You feel the energy of the unseen world and unknowingly take on other people's energy and emotions. This in turn can lead to anxiety and overwhelm.
Perhaps you feel overwhelmed when in crowded places and need some alone time to recalibrate.

This is a subject close to my heart because I am a sensitive person and still learning how to manage this aspect of myself.
