We are praising God for an impactful weekend at Ascend Church. Over 170 couples joined us for the Rekindle Marriage Conference where Pastor Jim Hamilton walked us through the book Song of Songs. We were challenged to rethink our perspective of this unique book of the Bible in order to understand God's design for marriage and his covenant with His people.

Dr. James M. Hamilton Jr. serves as Professor of Biblical Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Senior Pastor at Kenwood Baptist Church at Victory Memorial in Louisville, KY, where he lives with his wife and five children. He is the author of God’s Glory in Salvation through Judgment, Typology—Understanding the Bible’s Promise-Shaped Patterns, and a two-volume commentary on the Psalms. He also co-hosts the BibleTalk podcast alongside Alex Duke and Sam Emadi.
