It’s Episode 4 and the news just keeps going, and so does the show! In our first-ever live-streamed recording, Doug and Todd break tradition with some pop-culture conversation to open the show, as Doug sat down to record shortly after taking the family to A Minecraft Movie. We get some spoiler-free conversation, which - in true ADHP fashion - meanders into other films, like Top Gun: Maverick and Star Wars.

When finally getting to the politics, Doug goes over Trump’s Terrible Tariff week and what he thinks really happened with the announcement, the stock market, and why Trump reversed course just before the tariffs went into effect. Suffice to say, we saw this coming.

News of the Week covers the Trump Admin’s continued crusade against anyone who can’t prove their citizenship (not that they’re giving anyone a chance to), but we do hear some good news, with a California student suing DHS and ICE, and a Supreme Court decision that went UNANIMOUSLY against the Orange Fuhrer. We also get Doug’s take on a Washington State Democrat that’s got herself into some hot water with Democrats and leftists at large.

Finally, returning to pop-culture for “What’s Geek this Week?”, Todd tells us how our IRL cartoon villains are actually being made into IRC (in real comics) baddies. Another comic villain, this time from the MCU, wants to join the DCU, and do we have another Beetlejuice film in the works? The boys also pontificate on the nature of cloned wolves, and Todd informs us of a Schitts Creek reunion that’s happened on another Canadian series.

In true live-streaming fashion, the show gets cut-off abruptly by a rogue microwave, so be sure to catch the full show wherever you get your podcasts - the Youtube video version is cut a bit short.
