In this episode of Adversity to Inspiration: The JTD Coaches Me Podcast, Health, Mindset and Wellness Coach, Joann Tierney-Daniels, has a conversation about the detriments of domestic violence on one's psyche. Joann's guest, Orsika Julia, found herself fighting for her life both literally and figuratively after being embroiled in a relationship overshadowed by physical and emotional abuse.
After battling back from her own story of domestic abuse, Orsika's passion is to lend a voice to, and be an advocate for, other domestic abuse victims who are still in the process of learning how to live life on the other side of trauma. As a domestic violence survivor, Oriska has learned how to free one's self from abuse and live past survival mode. Now, her mission is to guide other domestic violence survivors to find their own paths to rebuilding their self-esteem and self-worth and find forgiveness, peace, and empowerment.
