We believe Folklore is incredibly important when it comes to cryptozoology and even the paranormal. Cryptids like Sasquatch and mysterious entities like the Skinwalker have been talked about in folklore long before they were ever popularized by newspaper articles or the internet. But it doesn’t stop there. North American folklore is full of mysterious creatures and evil entities. and this week we explore a handful of them with Ryan Paul Tremblay, an expert on North American folklore and an investigator of cryptozoology and the paranormal.
In this episode we look at several different cryptids and entities seen in folklore like the Wendigo and Skinwalker but also many other lesser known creatures as well.
For some, the stories told through folklore may help answer some of the many questions we have or at the very least give us a better understand of what we’re dealing with in this world. So sit back, relax and enjoy tonight’s episode l!
