Rain under the parking structure at my office in Chandler Arizona

There was a rain storm in the Phoenix Metro area one winter morning as I drove to work. The day started out dreary, but the dog and I still did our morning walk as there was a break in the rain. The time it took me to get ready for the day was enough to let the next wave of rain showers sneak in.

The drive was peaceful enough. Not too many people afraid of the rain as usual.

When I got to work, I was a bit early so I sat in the parking lot under cover and just listened to rain drops falling on the metal above my car.

The air was cool, with just a hint of a breeze that crept into my open window on occasion.

The cars passing, parking and sounding their horn made for a subtle break in the rhythm of the rain. Enjoy this calming episode of rain, birds singing, while you work or relax at home. Or as a background soundtrack to your day.
