TALK TO ME, TEXT IT

Headlines don’t slow down to check themselves, so we do. We open with a surge of USO reports near U.S. waterways sourced from a popular UFO tracking app, then pressure-test the claims: how are sightings verified, who filters duplicates, and where are the named Navy officials behind the talk of national security risks? Big numbers feel convincing, but without methodology and corroboration, they can mislead more than they inform.

From there, we turn to the hard-to-read string of recent deaths at Walt Disney World and the rush to publish without essential facts—cause, timeline, and official statements. Viral balcony videos, police tape, and cast members asking guests to avert their gaze feed a cycle where speculation fills every gap. We talk about how to read developing stories with care, why unrelated incidents shouldn’t be joined into a single narrative, and how media restraint honors both truth and the people affected.

Then we step into deep space, where a “Manhattan-sized” interstellar object triggers emergency monitoring, headlines about anti-tails and cometary tails, and hints of an extraterrestrial Trojan horse. We unpack what tails and anti-tails actually mean, why viewing geometry can create strange visuals, and where solid astronomy ends and hype begins. Being open to discovery doesn’t mean settling for alarmist shortcuts; it means insisting on data, peer review, and proportional claims.

If you’re craving clarity on USOs, Disney news, and the latest cosmic mystery—without the panic—we’ve got you. Listen for a grounded take, bring your best questions, and share your perspective. Subscribe, leave a review if this helped you sort the signal from the noise, and tell us: what’s to your right, right now?

SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hello, good morning, happy Monday.
Uh can you believe October isalmost over with?
October flew by.
Wow.
Um well I have a couple storiesfor you and I decided I'm gonna
start putting them out back on Xagain because screw the
algorithm that's already messedup anyway.
I don't have a blue check markanymore, so if they want to
punish me for putting externallinks on there, then I don't

(00:23):
care because nobody's seeing mycontent anyway.
All right, I did put uhsomething out there about the I
don't know what you call it, anasteroid or whatever.
I don't know if it's anasteroid, I don't know what it
is.
The thing in space that peopleare trying to tell us that is an
alien.
Uh no, it's not.
Okay.
But anyway, I put that out therefor you.

(00:43):
We'll get to that in a minute.
I think I'll save that for last.
Well, uh, but speaking ofaliens, instead of in space, how
about in the waters around us,in the oceans?
The truth is under there.
A popular UFO reporting app hasrecorded thousands of sightings

(01:05):
of unidentified submersibleobjects, USOs, near U.S.
waterways.
Phenomena which high-rankingU.S.
Navy officials warn could pose athreat to national security.
I would like the names of thesehigh US ranking official Navy
officials, please.

(01:25):
You can't just put that outthere and then not name names.
If they're high ranking, thenyou know who they are.
Put their damn names in there.
Enigma, which touts itself asthe largest queryable queryable
historical sighting database forglobal UFO sightings, claims it
has received reports on over30,000 unidentified flying

(01:50):
objects and unidentifiedanomalous phenomena since launch
in late 2022.
Well, of course, people aregonna re report stuff.
They see something, they'regonna report it even if they
don't see anything.
Come on, you people are you knewthey're gonna abuse stuff.
But the sightings haven't beenlimited to the skies, with

(02:13):
reports also coming in aboutstrange objects rising from the
depths of the sea or plunginginto the water without so much
as a splash.
As of August, Enigma has alsologged more than 9,000
mysterious sightings within 10miles, 10 miles of the U.S.

(02:34):
shorelines or major bodies ofwater, 500 of them within five
miles, with more than 150reports describing objects
hovering above the descending ordescending into the waterways,
according to Marine TechnologyNews.
Uh so yeah, that's kind ofinteresting.
What do you think about that?
You think that's real?

(02:55):
What do you think it is?
You think it's just made-upcrap?
People aboard, they don't haveanything else to do.
So they get on these apps andstart reporting fake stuff,
probably.
Alright, let's move on to thenext story.
So I'm gonna save that one forlast.
Alright, so what is going on inDisney World?
There has been a third death intwo weeks in Disney.

(03:18):
A third person has died at WaltDisney World in less than two
weeks in a chilling string offatalities that has cast a pall
over the most magical place onearth.
A man died at Disney'scontemporary resort near Magic
Kingdom Park outside Orlando,Florida, the Orange County

(03:38):
Medical Examiner's Officeconfirmed to the post.
Uh uh officials didn't revealthe cause, of course not, or
specific time of death.
I think people who write thesestories should not be allowed to
write them until they have allof the information because I
want to know what happened tothis guy.

(03:59):
Now I'm just reading just bullcrap.
I'm reading a bunch of fluff.
Tell me what happened to thisguy.
That is the whole point ofreporting on these things.
Ugh.
All right, so they didn't aspecific time of death, but a
TikTok video shot Thursday froma guest window shows police tape

(04:19):
and a gang of officers andemergency workers in the hotel's
courtyard.
Others on social media said theywere asked not to look out their
balcony.
Well, of course I'm gonna lookout my damn back balcony when
you tell me not to.
But here's the thing they took abunch of Disney employees and
made them stand in front of thewindow so nobody could see.

(04:40):
Uh, no, I'm paying for this.
Get out of my way.
I want to see.
I'm paying for this hotel roomand this view.
Get out the way.
Uh, let's see.
So others on social media saidthey were asked not to look out
their balcony windows by castmembers who knocked on their
door.
Something happened in the backof the building with crime scene

(05:03):
tape surrounding the waterfountain.
I don't know if somebody jumpedor accidentally fell to their
death, but something happened.
And they have an employee atevery single wing window to
shield you from looking out theback so you can't view.
No, you're gonna remove yourselffrom my view, sir or ma'am.

(05:24):
The contemporary resort is thesame place a superfan leaped to
her death last week from itsiconic A-frame tower.
Superfan Summer Equitz from theChicago area got married last
year, honeymooned at DisneyWorld in October, and announced
she was pregnant two monthslater, before the 31-year-old

(05:47):
took her life in full view ofhorrified guests.
It is unclear if Equitzdelivered the baby.
I don't know what that means.
I don't know.
Uh then on Tuesday, a man in his60s collapsed at a Disney's Fort
Wilderness Resort and campgroundand later died at the hospital.
Then that probably sounds like aheart attack or something.

(06:08):
But damn, what is going on withDisney?
All right.
Let's move on to let's go overto my X-File because I put like
a thread over here about thisinterstellar or whatever this
thing is out in space.
I don't know what you call it.
Could mysterious Manhattan-sizedcomet be a black swan event?
What does that mean, a blackswan event?

(06:29):
What does that mean?
I don't even know what thatmeans.
The implications are so huge forhumanity.
And then I have a couple ofother ones underneath it here.
Let's see what this story says.
Let's get through all theadvertisements.
All right, is it an inst is it'san interstellar wolf in sheep's

(06:50):
clothing?
Earlier this week, theNASA-backed International
Asteroid Warning Network, IAWN,launched an emergency defense
probe after three eye atlasexhibited unusual behavior.
Now, Harvard scientist Ivy Loebwarns that the Manhattan-sized
interstellar object zippingthrough our solar system could

(07:14):
be an extraterrestrial Trojanhorse whose presence has major
implications for humanity.
I've heard this guy at IvyLoeb's name bantered around a
lot lately.
I need to know who he is.
Is he a nut job?
Loeb, who maintains that theobject could be of alien origin,
he's got to be a nut job.

(07:35):
Ever since it's July, Discoverytold Elizabeth Vargas reports
that he was concerned with thesize of it, which he inferred
could weigh 33 billion tonsbased on web telescope data.
What how in the world?

(07:55):
So it's large, and then my nextstory says that is that it's
developed a tail.
Let's go look at that.
I think it was the last one Iposted.
Let's see, this is something newthat's happening on X.
So Manhattan-sized space objecthas grown a tail, a possible
sign of alien maneuver, Harvardscientists.

(08:19):
I bet this is Avi Lobe again.
New images reveal theManhattan-sized interstellar
object.
Atlas has started to sport atail, indicating that it could
possibly be a maneuver aliencraft, one Harvard scientist
suggested.
Yes, there he is.
Avi Lobe.

(08:40):
After exhibiting signs of anincredibly strange anti-tail.
What does that mean?
Anti-tail.
Since first cropping up in thesolar system in July, uh Atlas
is now showing evidence of atrue cometary tail.
Images taken by so it's I mean, don't they all develop a tail
when they start falling from thesky?

(09:02):
Is this really that unusual?
I don't think so.
However, the succession of ananti-tale tail and then the
presence of a tail could beindicative in sorry, indicative,
oh my gosh, I can't talk.
Indicative of controlledmaneuvering.

(09:22):
Oh, come on.
And a high impact black swanevent.
Oh gosh.
Why are you trying to scarepeople half to death?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Let's see what this other story.
I posted three stories aboutthis thing.
Okay, yeah, it's the same thing.
Alright.
What do y'all think about that?
Do you think that's crazy?

(09:42):
Do you think that's even what doyou think that is?
I think it's just an asteroidflying through space like it
normally does.
I don't think it's anything hugethat we need to worry about.
Alright, we need to move on tothe question of the day.
Okay, look around you right now, wherever you're sitting.
What is to the right of you?
Since I'm in my car, obviously,I'm the passenger seat is to my

(10:07):
right.
My handbag, my lunchbox, mywater jug.
That is everything that is tothe right of me.
What is to the right of youright now?
Okay, gotta go.
Thanks for listening.
Bye.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
