Today, we will look into the biblical festival of Unleavened Bread as it is taught in Exodus 12:19-20. Specifically, we will learn that in the Bible and the New Testament, the English terms "LEAVEN" and "LEAVENED" are derived from two different Hebrew words conveying two distinct concepts. Oftentimes, it is taught that leaven is likened to SIN and PRIDE. But is it linked to these ideas?  Join us today to learn about the Biblical and Hebraic concepts of LEAVEN, LEAVENED, UNLEAVENED, and TO BE LEAVENED. This is episode 174 of Real Israel Talk Radio, beginning our 6th season!

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: We failed to mention Exodus 13:7 from the Hebrew text: "And no leavened bread (chametz) shall be seen among you, nor shall leaven (se'or) be seen among you in all your quarters." If you would like to have a response to this matter that we did not address in this podcast, check out the show notes. It will be explained there.
