Hey all, Happy Thursday!! Welcome back to another episode of And That’s That On That. This month we’re spotlighting songwriters and we’re so excited to continue the streak with x2 GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, Shelly Peiken! You may know the songs she’s written such as “Bitch” by Meredith Brooks, “What A Girl Wants” and “Come On Over Baby” by Christina Aguilera, “I’m A Mess” by Bebe Rexha, “Who You Are” by Jessie J, and has written for other artists like Keith Urban, Britney Spears, Brandy, Celine Dion, Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and the list goes on… She is the author of the book “Confessions of A Serial Songwriter,” an amusing and poignant memoir about Shelly's journey from young girl falling under the spell of magical songs to a working professional songwriter creating smash hits of her own. She joins us today to chat about her life in the music industry writing some of music’s biggest hits, the present day music industry, and how things have changed since she started almost thirty years ago. Plus, on this week's "Pit or Peak," Haley has a not so pleasant experience at the doctors and Gavyn has his yearly existential crisis! And That's That On That.
