(00:02):
321. Everybody welcome back to the
podcast, episode 90. 595. Welcome back everybody.
We are back. Hot damn 95 folks, how are you?
And the year was. 1985. It was that year.
And it is a podcast and here we.Are thanks for doing that here
(00:24):
anymore. Not so much, not really.
No, we're at. Least a couple of years.
Away 40 years old. This is the 40th anniversary of
the year was 1985, technically speaking.
But yeah, man, long, long way from home kind of thing.
Interesting, how is everyone doing out in podcast?
How's everybody doing today? Hope you're feeling good.
(00:46):
We're recording on an off day. It's been an off week.
Probably gonna have a couple more off weeks, but there will
be more content. Just may come out at all times,
who knows, but you'll be the first second to know.
Technically, I'll be the first. You'll be the second.
Yeah, no. Well, yeah, just we appreciate
everyone who's been listening all.
Yeah, Thank you. So.
Much throughout all of the 1995 episodes, so yes, people are
(01:12):
still listening, so we appreciate it.
So stay tuned to see whenever the new ones will come out.
Check our Instagram, check our Facebook, and they're going to
keep coming. Yes they will.
But. We got a bunch of canned
episodes. We're going to probably pop out
over the summer as well because we got some vacation they're.
Gonna come. They're gonna come.
(01:32):
Please don't come. Do not come, Do not come.
Fuck all right, also where we are.
Back. We are back and that's what's
exciting about our podcasts, your podcast, everybody's.
They're coming out. The pods, they will be coming
out, keep your mind. They're coming, folks.
We have, yeah. So we're going to keep recording
(01:53):
at least once a week and we havea few in the bank and we're
going to try and fill in some gaps over summer holidays and
changes and all kinds of changesto our schedules that sometimes
you can't and you can't even help.
You can't even help it sometimes.
But no, we still have tons and tons of new content.
Technically we do have recorded. We're still going to do some
(02:14):
every week. Interviews.
Yeah, whatever we. Got to be announced later.
Yeah, we will have some cool shit, but yeah, I mean summer
time, everybody wants to go inside.
We only get 8 weeks this summer so we're going to enjoy
ourselves for the summer. It's gonna be in the summer.
Yeah, you get 8 weeks and four of them are kind of OK, but here
(02:36):
we are, here we are, and it's going to be awesome.
But yeah, no looking for new content.
Also keep in mind once the fall comes on again, of course, we'll
be back in like 100% full bore swing.
So we'll have some sick interviews and lots of cool
stuff coming up. And we've got some cool stuff
coming up too. Episode 100 is coming up yet
have more away, so we're five weeks away that puts us
(02:58):
mid-july. So 100 episode will probably be
a breakup episode more than likely or will will record 100
episode, we'll put it as 100 episode, yeah.
We're gonna have to pre plan, pre record and it's gonna be a
celebration. Yeah, that would be a silly
episode more than likely. Mid-july I might be out of.
Promise me as well, I'm also on that train now suddenly, so I
might be home roughly the same time.
(03:23):
Little on the pod Rd. breaking. Breaking news on that would be
sick. Do Apart from Chappies.
Yeah. Hey, live pause.
We should do that. We can figure out what we can
do. A pop from Chappies we'll figure
out. Bring a few people up to talk to
you and. Tell you, tell your story.
Have a story? Feel free to.
Make fun of your story. Tell me a story.
Tell me a story. But yeah, I think that's some
(03:46):
breaking news. Yeah, that'd be cool.
But yeah. So you never know.
Who knows that? That's the that's the thing
about, you know, we're doing this out of the our own.
Out of the goodness of our heart.
We enjoy doing it right. So we just put it, we do it for
ourselves and people enjoy it so.
Yeah, that's a super bit of fun.So week for everything.
Don't line up. The stars don't align, folks.
(04:09):
No, it's just called we. Can't be perfect every week
we've gone 94 weeks without trouble, more or less.
So we're doing pretty good. Yeah, man.
No. So thank you everybody again for
listening. Thank everybody for watching.
Thank everybody for following. If you haven't followed already,
follow us everywhere, especiallyfollow us on YouTube.
Oh my God, we're trying. We're gonna run that up.
(04:29):
I think that'll be our fall project coming in here with
runner. Gonna run that up.
Run it up. Sorry.
Pump those numbers up. Those numbers up, tell your
friends, tell your family. Give us a follow on there as
well. I know.
Everybody's got a YouTube. What's a hard bargain?
It is, man. I feel like a bit of a
prostitute when I'm out here pumping the pod, but in the same
light I'm like, man, it's OK, It's something.
We're not making any money, so no, I don't feel that much of.
(04:51):
A But if we could put out some, like some entertaining content
that people can consume, yeah, while they're doing their daily,
day-to-day things. And everything so.
Serious, let's have some fun. You might wanna checking in and
out on us while you're mowing the lawn or.
Whatever you got. While you're doing some painting
or something or whatever. Whatever your deal is.
But yeah, thanks everybody for joining us.
(05:13):
Yeah, we're back again. It's another week, Ryan, my man.
Tell me a story. Tell me a story.
So this week I don't know what do we want to get into first?
We haven't really amusing as usual.
We haven't, we haven't planned anything generally speaking, but
there's been some music news, so.
Your finger is on the pulse, Sam, so.
I do pay attention a lot. I kind of forgot a few things.
I'm in between 400 things right now, so bear with me as my Mary
(05:37):
only works so good, right? So we'll bounce in on some sad
news. Of course.
We had a plane crash a couple days ago.
Dave Shapiro, pretty large in the kind of metal world, like
whatever sub genres you wanna put a basically in that type of
world. Promote a lot of cool bands,
(05:58):
brought through a lot of bands, been around for a long time.
Very well respected in his industry and it bunks his peers
so that's sad. He passed away as well as Daniel
Williams. He is the former drummer if I'm
not mistaken of the Devil Wears Prada.
Kind of like an alt metal band, really big in that table world
or whatever. Seems like a bunch of nice dudes
(06:20):
kind of thing. Fortunate events.
So there's some of that going on.
Yeah. So.
Well, I won't get too deep into that.
I don't. I'm not a nerd.
I'm not a news reporter, so I didn't get too deep into that
one. But it's sad news.
Super shitty was. It like just a leisurely plane
ride or what was the plane? Let's see here.
Let's see if we can find. Some or was it like?
(06:41):
Quicken. You know, a Boeing or anything.
Like that? No, I believe it was like a
small plane. I'm pretty sure it's like a prop
plane type. Of thing or puddle jumper type
of situation. See here.
Nothing going on. Hit a power line.
So it's a small plane. Yeah, yeah.
Hit us all plane. So, yeah, kind of shitty, yeah.
(07:04):
So, you know, all our love goes out to those people involved in
that and. Family, friends.
OK, so he's a music agent for some 41 killed in San Diego
plane crash. Yeah, 100% yeah.
So from Sound Talent Group, he'sa cofounder of that as well.
Also, like, I mean, they represent a ton of if you go on
the website you can look at it, but people yeah, like big sucks,
(07:25):
unfortunate super. Unfortunate, you know what I
mean? We had that Travis Barker and
yeah, DJ. And what's up with that?
Two plane crash. Remember that and then.
Burns Oliver's body. Yeah, and DJ passed away and
stuff that was, and he had neverwanted to go on a plane ride.
I don't think he's been on a plane ever since.
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what the details on
(07:46):
that are, but yeah, I mean, likeit, it seems like, I don't know
if it's like because people haveenough money they can get pilots
license and own planes and do things like that or whatever,
but happens a lot, OK. There's a ton of, you know, I
mean, think about all the private planes that have gone
down, what artists on them and people like that.
There's been a lot of people. But yeah, super unfortunate.
So that was kind of on my radar this week.
(08:07):
I believe also, I could be mistaken on this one, but I
think it crossed my screen this morning.
Roots cancelled. Also know in Philly, I want to
say, yeah, I think, I think I wanna, I wanna say it was
Questlove. He had surgery or something
going on a couple months ago andhad some complications.
(08:27):
They didn't irritate or whatever, so they had to cancel
the big show. So that's another big thing,
Yeah. So that's kind of a couple of
things past my past my screen inthe last couple of days.
The radar, right? Yeah.
Yeah, a couple of interesting ones, yeah.
And we're. Big big summer for you for
concerts. Maybe see some of the shows this
(08:47):
summer. Yeah, so I just got my tickets
for Big Rec down at Fritz Nice, which I believe is possibly
gonna get moved up to Bonnets. It sounds like they're gonna get
pushed over to Bonnets Big, Wreck big.
Wreck Grand Prairie bonnets Boseor in the in the.
Bigs possibly. Possibly at Freds or over.
I'm going to see what would be the Bose Event Centre, I guess
(09:08):
technically speaking, if you will, but upon its place there,
because there was an announcement from OK Rock,
whatever, Rock, whatever, I don't know somebody.
Anyways, it was pushed over. There was an announcement for a
concert on Monday crashing into bonnets this week or whatever.
It's so everybody thinks it's big wreck.
So I assume that potentially upgrade show or a second added
(09:28):
show maybe. I don't really know.
But a second show will be sick. Yeah to be fair I hope they
don't upgrade it cuz I got my ticket for the bar show and I'm
way more interested in the. Show I would rather be at the
bar show. Yeah, because then I can go
stand up essentially right in front of you and Thornley
watching plays guitar close. Yeah, you could.
This stage is this. Talk we'll do.
We'll do the finger touch thing.Like it's stages this.
(09:50):
Tall, yeah. Like the base bins are
technically taller than the stage so.
That. I wanna be.
There one of the best experiences too for consuming I
love. Music birds are the way.
I don't care what anybody. Tells especially better than
Fred's for sure. 'S wicked if you're in town and
you should check them out because there's tons of live
shows going on there like all week long.
(10:11):
I think it's like 3 or 4 nights a week.
Like they all the shit going on and they have good bands.
They're good, like Big Rick. Listening like he listen the way
Ticketmaster and Live Nation hasa stranglehold on the music
industry. Agreed.
And promoters and how everythingand where people play and
everything like it's, it's makesit very hard for a local guy to
(10:34):
have a bar and have fucking these big bands play at his.
Bar kidding me, big record playing there like it's going to
be awesome. So yeah, I mean, yeah, check out
Fred if you're in town. Tons of good music, even the
local bands are really good and even the surrounding communities
really good. Should come check it out.
Wicket venue, Wicket food, Wicked drinks awesome, have
fewer people, are super nice. Levitt.
Shout out to the boys, to the girls, shoot them all.
(10:57):
Real good BBQ. Yeah, man, super good, super
good shit. Go check it out.
And if you have it and you're inGrand Prairie, go check out
Friends. Take that out and we're back.
And we are back again. Live coming at you.
Coming at you live. Got any new music?
Show me or what I think I'm going through Little Drop.
(11:17):
I got a couple of songs I've listened to.
I've been loving that new turnstile, I gotta say.
Should we start at new turnstile?
Should we start a new turnstile?Start the new new even.
Sure, but it has like a kind of like throwback vibe to it.
Just hit him with it, see what happens if you get banned.
We get banned, don't. We don't.
(11:38):
We're getting banned, absolutely.
Probably, but Spotify has been allowing all things lately, so
let's let it. RIP so but it's our YouTube
that's have some problems because that's why our YouTube
is having trouble growing because.
We get banned. All the time.
They kind of hide our stuff awaybecause we show people music, we
show people videos, like come on.
(11:59):
When your whole application is based on showing music and
videos, yeah. Oh yeah.
Hell yeah, hell yeah. We're rocking Turnstile is
summer vibes, man. It's a.
Turnstile. Summer, baby.
Sorry. We even got our hardcore shorts
on here today. Oh yeah, both of us are rock.
(12:19):
Knees out, knees out. For the boys.
For the boys. We knees out for the.
Yes, Sir. Is there some sort of knees on
you? Man, oh man, some set of knees
on you. No, I love it.
I love turnstile and the stuff and people give them.
You know I hate, I hate turnstile snobs.
(12:40):
Give it up by us. Grow.
Up. Do you hate that?
He's anyways. But anyway, go enjoy some
turnstile on a weekend when the Suns out and go jump around.
Love it. You see the fucking show?
You see the the videos from the live show.
Live show in Baltimore. Hometown live show outside of
the. Park Yeah, like over 10,000
people showed up for this show in the park in Baltimore.
(13:02):
Free show can. You share the kids actually how
to say I seen that. You share the kids jumping.
Jumping into my I don't know, they must have been someone on.
The crew, someone's kids or. Someone on the cruise, kids or
maybe one of the pen maybe, I don't know.
Yeah, I have no idea the story. Helped.
Yeah, it was awesome. Spin Spin magazine shared it, I
(13:22):
think, and then so I shared it. Yes to the.
Podcast I did see it. I was like, that is on it's.
Kind of cool, the kids first rocking out, mosh pitting and
this is all good. Legendary.
And it's like, now everybody's like talking about how legendary
the free concert was, right? Because it's installed and let
me turn solar. Yeah, they are.
They do rock. I mean, listen, are you kidding
(13:45):
me? I mean, not everyone's going to
love it, but hey, come on, it gets me fired up.
Turns to house for the kids everybody turns tiles for.
Kids. Yeah, Turns does.
The summer so this is exciting look out for me.
New album comes out June 12th. Yes.
So 12 days from now. So I'm not sure when this
product come out, maybe 7 or no.Seconds or something like.
(14:06):
That maybe like four days after this pod, maybe, maybe who knows
what comes? Maybe.
This might come out in September, who knows?
Who knows what's going to happenhere today, folks?
We do. Anyone who does listen, we do
appreciate. We're just, well, doesn't.
In the end, we are kind of shooting the shit.
(14:26):
We're kind of bringing you this. We're trying to bring you a
little bit of quality, quality content with some new fresh
music that's kind of vibe. We've kind of accepted our fate
and most of the time we talk. About music.
Always gonna be. Most time we just talk about.
Maybe the 90s, right? No.
So we've kinda, I think the the idea is that now we've noticed
(14:46):
that we've covered it. We always talk about it, I'm
sure, but I think it will now show our recent, more modern
taste in a lot of things that were now influenced by those
things. Yeah, You know what?
I mean, it's just just a little bit of an evolution, like kind
of like what raised us into who we are.
And here we. Are we listening to now?
What? Come on, let's go.
(15:07):
Exactly. And I think that's the way I
think that's. Our but also fresh, and we love
talking to guys like Bill Belichick and Rick Campanelli.
Guys from the past, 100% not thepast.
Oh man, you're gonna have that out our past.
I know what you mean though, yes.
People from people from our. Nostalgic.
To us, it's nostalgic. To us, this problem and don't
take that in a negative way because that's not how I meant
(15:28):
it because they're influential. They it does mean something to
me that they come in, came here and talked to us or podcast, not
in here, but became on our podcast with us and it's a you
know, they shaped who we are today and This is why I'm
listening to turnstile on Andy year was 1985 baby, we're
(15:49):
Outback. We are so.
Back we're so back like I say, but turnstile is for the
children we've been we've been taking in turnstile for a little
while now. I guess that was technically we
turned you on to it. We had to turn style revelation
episode. We did yes and.
We had a turnstile revelation maybe a year or so ago, yeah.
(16:10):
That's a pretty sure. If you look it up, it's called I
had a revelation or something. Yeah, I can't remember what
episode, but I'm sure I called it something to do with.
Revelation there. I think there's an Instagram
where you left of it, possibly. Yeah, I shared it because it was
a revelation, Yeah. And I had heard, you know, some
of their old, older stuff, but if you were like, name a
(16:30):
turnstile song, I'd be like, I don't know.
But then you showed me the live listen when you see when you're
seeing the live live shows, likea hardcore show like that.
And there's like no security. And it's like the state, like I
said, the stage is right there next to next to the pan plan and
everyone's jumping on the stage and jumping off and you know,
(16:51):
body surfing over everybody and everyone's just rocking out and
like that is that was totally struck me and it was like, wow,
this is. Is a revelation.
It's a revelation. We're having a revelation.
Yeah, Irish crickets, you know. Oh wow.
Knock them in. Well.
Hello. Wow, Irish.
Crickets. Got that perfect board, ladies?
(17:13):
And gentlemen, it looks like Homer Simpson beer.
Cheese. Folks, yeah, so if you're if
you're only listening to audio, check it out on Spotify and or
YouTube mostly if you don't get fired on YouTube.
Mostly, you know what, just check it out.
Check it out. Check it.
Out whole Irish cricket. Look at him hanging out there,
right? On top of that, he is a studly
(17:34):
dressed little Irish. Cricket, I know he looks very
handsome there. He's a handsome.
Man, he didn't me a story. He's a handsome guy.
He's he's, he's a. Handsome be making an appearance
again. So let's let's travel through
our. If I could turn back down.
Where would you turn it? Would turn it back.
(17:56):
I don't know why. Amazon.
Damn son. You know what not really like?
Not a no, I don't. I don't know if I would.
I don't think I. Would because it be because it
depends on how it works. I'll start here.
I'll start here. So it depends how it works.
If you are the person you are now, but you get to go back and.
Redo with. You and whatever whatever age.
(18:16):
Same knowledge, but whatever age.
You choose be like a 40 year oldliving like 13 going what's
that? No 13 going on 30, but like
backwards. Yeah, essentially.
So you think about that, right? That's an interesting concept.
I wouldn't want to do that. Not interested in that.
But I I'd probably only go back to like maybe just after high
school or just graduated becauseI could still get in on a little
(18:40):
Google action. That's true, yeah.
You have the amenities. Get down a little.
Apple action? Yeah.
Early 2000? Maybe.
Yeah, maybe. 2007, 2000. Three, I think I I think
personally. And you're like Bitcoin.
I'm getting in on that. Well, that's a missed, totally
missed mark on my behalf. Had early access to various.
That's very. Cheap.
That's what I'm thinking. If I can go back, I'd be like,
(19:01):
OK, I'll go back to just to start of Google when yeah,
actually no, because that's way too far back.
I'd be young then. Oh, you'd be like whatever,
18/17/18. Tell, tell, tell Dad, Dad, you
got to buy. Yes, stop.
In this I do not. Yeah.
You gotta buy. I might do that now.
I'll make you a millionaire. If you could go back if you only
(19:22):
have 5 minutes, I would do that.Go back to you gotta buy stock
away. Knowing what I know now and just
go back. You got 5 minutes.
You're standing right in front of the person.
You know what I mean? You're going to be standing
right in front of person you wanna talk to, and that's what I
would do. And they'd be like, what the?
Fuck like here's a note. See you later.
Yeah, here's this note. Do everything on it.
Don't fucking don't delegate from.
(19:43):
The yeah. And that reminds me to like Back
to the Future, the Almanac, to just knowing, man, if you could
just, OK, go back and bet, bet everything on the Raptors, win,
win in the win the NBA championship or something.
Like that. Something silly.
Yeah, something very silly. Something kind of like illusive.
That would be weird. That Chicago Cubs won.
(20:03):
Be like, OK, bet, bet on. They're gonna, if you could bet
on that at the beginning of the season, like say like preseason.
Yeah, when it's like a dollar. And then yeah, you could
literally put like 5 grand on something that would probably be
like 60,000 to one odds because they were in such a big.
That's what I mean, right? So that's what I would do, make
a huge. That's horse bit, right?
A horse race like someone who's no I would.
(20:25):
Do worse, it would do a horse after something.
Well, you knew. You knew the results.
I suppose. Yeah, you knew the results.
Now this is you going in or going somebody.
This is like someone come back and give me like an Almanac.
Ohe ohe. You're saying?
I see what you mean if someone. Was I wouldn't be evil like.
This give you the information kind of thing.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I see it.
OK. Or go back and give myself the
(20:46):
information or whatever. You know, I mean, I see what
you're saying now, I. See that I?
Wouldn't be evil, I wouldn't be greedy, I would just get enough
that I would just be able to go.No, and I wouldn't always make
the biggest bet like the. Weirdest.
Strangest. Yeah, whatever.
Maybe people would catch on after.
All I think so. I think if you want a bunch of
shit all the time, you probably be able to prove how you know
(21:08):
it. But yeah, I think it would be, I
think it would be called for theFBI or maybe ceases to show up
at your door. Well, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, somebody weird would show up at your door at some point.
There's no fucking way, Yeah, there's no fucking way, man.
You could. Just make it make or just make
one big hit a million. I'm out of here.
Right, I made one big hit. Now we might be talking with
(21:30):
that. Now we're talking.
Now we're cooking. Now we're cooking.
This is like we're getting, we're getting into this movie.
We're getting to a movie concepthere.
Now movie concept here. But I like the idea of going
back, say to maybe my younger self.
Now you get. Work hard.
Now you get. Bought some Google stuff.
Yes do this now. Just throw cold bucks out, you
don't need that much. When Tesla comes around like
(21:51):
that and then sell it before fucking think it's all fucking
gets out shitty. Graze.
Well, I mean, who knows? Who knows, Who knows?
But my point of view is like, itdepends on how it go back, which
is why I started that part of the conversation.
So it's like, OK, if I go back, yeah, I don't want to get too
far off the rails here tonight, we will.
But. We did.
I like it. Yeah, that was good.
(22:12):
But I think the way I would think of it is if I had the
knowledge I have now and go back, I wouldn't want that.
That'd be weird. I feel like you know what I
mean. Cause almost be like reliving it
yeah but in a weird like from a in first person and 3rd.
Person point of view, it would be weird.
Still seeing it and I don't knowif you had to follow through
with the same. No, you bring maybe he.
(22:32):
Wouldn't you know what I mean, right?
Like maybe you get to do it again then or whatever, right?
But then every single day. Every single day.
Over. If you could go plop yourself
back down, if you could just remove me essentially from the
timeline for a second and plop me back down somewhere else
exactly where it was at that moment or whatever.
I'll go back to 1999. 1999. 14 years old.
(22:53):
It was like, for some reason that summer, man was so not
like, Oh my God, like, I'm nevergonna have any better than that
summer. That's not my point or whatever.
But that summer was last year. Like that year was awesome.
That summer was awesome. Last year.
It was something, something was in the air that summer.
Like we had a wicked summer and it was like me and you hanging
out. We were skating.
All this stuff was going on way too much partying for how old we
(23:15):
were. All this other stuff gone, but
it was at the now that I'm olderand look back at it was like
that was fucking awesome, Like that year was awesome.
That was such a fun. Even school was good.
School was really good. Then the summer was awesome.
It was just one of. Those.
Yeah, I do. Miss, you know what I.
Mean like summer. Summer.
Long summer. Yeah, that's the thing.
(23:37):
Sick time. Do you find that now?
Everyone used to hang out together in one spot at the
skate park and everything. Else we all get me all emotional
here. With a tear.
Minnesota tear, man. But yeah, I know it is that
would that was a fun like I think about it was.
It just has a lot of funny, fun, good memories tied to that year.
(23:58):
You know what I mean? I think that's really what it
is. But if I could, just not knowing
anything I know just pick me up,take me down and kind of re
experience the exact same thing all over.
Again, whenever. That will be I would take the
summer. I would give me that three month
timeline and then put me back. Just give me back.
To do the whole thing again would be a bit much.
(24:19):
Put me back after. But then again, it wouldn't be
really the same because you'd belike, you know you'd be.
Maybe you would remember who wonthe Stanley Cup that year and
make you. Like maybe you get little
tribute, little sneaky bits. Or whatever you want.
But it would be. Don't know actually.
Probably. New Jersey or Detroit or
probably Detroit or New Jersey, Colorado, I can't remember.
(24:42):
I wanna say Colorado colour and put it in the comments, tell me
who it was, who won. But yeah, that would be my pick
me up, put me back kind of thingfor three months.
I would take that one summer forlaugh just as vividly remember
it again kind of thing like thattype of thing.
That was fun. I don't know why, but it was
(25:02):
lots of fun memories summer. It was cool.
Yeah, it was in the summer of 1999.
Woodstock 99. Yeah.
Cool stuff under a belt man. For 40 years I must say we got
some cool shit. 14 years, but shall we 39 years?
39 years so far for me. I'm not quite 40 yet.
(25:24):
I know I'm stoked about 40. To be fair with you, I'm not.
I'm not disappointed about. It well, I was a little couple
days after I was just like, whatthe hell.
Yeah, yeah. Now when I turned 40 and I could
have full meltdown thing speaking, but now I'm just like
OK, well, but I don't feel different.
No. That's the one thing I will say
(25:44):
as a piece of advice to people that may or may not be younger.
Listen to this. I'm 40 years old.
I don't feel a whole lot different than I did like in
terms of like, I mean, I'm wiser.
I'm not, I'm definitely wiser. Like I'm not smarter as
different. Definitely wiser, definitely
definitely wiser. But personality and the way I
perceive my own self, yeah, is not as a 40 year old human, no,
(26:09):
or not the way I perceived 40 year old humans when I was. 20
Lordy lordy look who's 40 and remember seeing the picture in
the paper and they'd be like some guy with big coke bottle
glasses and like bald. Just look well.
Take it back. No, but not like ball.
Good ball, but ball with the come over to the side.
(26:29):
Like honestly, Gray hair. Like there is a good ball.
There's a good, bad, good, bad ball.
Too good. Everything technically, but
it's. Also bad lovers.
People had to save that so fat. But there's no when you got I'm
taking the great come. Over People can be naked, but
sometimes that's not a good site.
That's how I put it. Same thing with hair.
That's true. Same deal.
(26:50):
Take it easy everybody. People don't attack it in the.
Comments. Bald head.
Today I got a good one if I was taking my hand off not bad.
Yeah, you don't always wear yourhat.
No, I'm not ashamed of it in anyfashion.
I'm almost 40 years old and I'vedone some cool shit and I've
done some shit, so it's fine with me.
That's how you doing? It's had a moment.
That's all right. Said a moment.
(27:11):
That's all. I really loved 1.
I had it at 35. That's the thing.
I went weird. OK, yeah, I'm not like all, but
it was just like him. But he's gonna like, I don't
know, it's just different. It felt different.
I felt different when I turned 35 something reasons.
It just felt different and it wasn't a good thing like, or
(27:33):
that's how I felt about it anyway.
Now it don't give shit at all. But even though it's a weird
one, weird 137 or 38, like it's like, oh wow, that's actually on
the other side, like closer to 40, right?
So yeah, when you hit it like a couple days now, it's kind of
like right now it's like fresh, fresh start again.
Yeah, that's how I kind of thinkabout it.
(27:54):
It's not, it's not the the end of whatever.
It's kind of like the new beginning of something.
Yeah, Well, I mean, and especially if I won't get into
it or anything, but especially for me, like I feel like this is
the other side of the coin is that I'm turning 40 and things
are going to drastically change for me in the next little bit or
whatever, right. So I think for me, it's like I
am for like it's like a whole. I'm fully freshly starting at 40
(28:17):
years old. Let's do that.
Like I'm, I'm like, yeah, let's do that.
Like, yeah, try that again. And not that I want to change,
nothing to do with that. It's just, I don't know, I feel
better. I feel better at 40 than I do at
30. Yeah, I put it that.
Way I can't. I can't even Remember Me at 30
actually. Like it's so weird.
Like I remember because it was like the year, same turn around
(28:38):
when you first moved up here kind of thing.
I have my 30th birthday here. I guess I came here when I was
28, but I have my 30th birthday.Like obviously it's.
Right there, right? Yeah, you know what I mean?
I remember that cause it was like the 1st birthday I had a
hoopla and like it was a party like because I mean, I lived
home, you know, it was different.
But yeah, fun man. Yeah, I think, yeah.
I'm excited to see what this side brings.
(29:01):
People talk about turning 40 andthen it's different from there.
Like people talk about it differently from there, like
people who are in their 50s or whatever.
So I'm interested to see what. Happens give less of a fuck.
I definitely give a lot less of a fuck and not that I gave a
whole lot of fuck, or to be honest I guess, but.
No fucks to give now I'm bored not man.
I'm fully grown man, Fully grown, fully grown it up or
(29:25):
whatever. I own stuff and people pay me
money to come to work every day is pretty much what's happening
around here. Damn, here we.
Are but the other side of cones.Man, who knew we'd get here?
You know, not in a bad way, I don't mean it for that, but I'm
just saying like who knew we gethere cause a lot of people
don't. So, you know, it's, I think
that's part of the thing too, isyou got something to look back
on though, like you got enough time to go backwards and I think
(29:47):
we are. And then we started a podcast.
Were like, you know, we should do, we should talk about our
midlife crisis on the Internet and just let everybody else
listen to it and watch us at thesame time.
Look at these two fools. Look at these two fools.
But so far positive. Way worse.
Way worse words. I haven't gotten, haven't got
much negative, but you know what?
I haven't got much negative feedback, man, not gonna lie.
I mean. People, they would never say it
to us, but I don't care. No, I don't care at all.
(30:09):
I could care less cares. This is the funnest evening of
my week. Generally great.
Generally speaking, this is the best night of week.
And and then sometimes we interview some cool people, so.
Yeah, man, that's another thing.I know we're gonna run up to
100, probably review all these things like even in the last
year. To be fair, I'm getting really
(30:29):
stoked back up again now over the last couple of weeks kind of
things just I'm so busy. Where are things?
But like think about all the cool things we've done last
year. You know what I mean?
Like, we've talked to all these cool people.
And, I mean, even the year before, like we weren't even a
full year in, then we started totalk to cool people.
Yeah. Yeah.
So we need to, we'll still, we need to get back on that horse.
(30:53):
Oh, we'll get back on the train.Man, get a good lineup folks.
We're gonna get a few re ups maybe we've had before hopefully
and. Yeah, we'll bring some people
back. We'll bring some new people
actually depending on what goes on next with some other things,
we may even have a lot more or in studio guests depending on
how that finds. So that's the thing we're kind
(31:14):
of, we're not in limbo in any stretch, but we're potentially
there might be a change coming up soon.
We would have a larger space to work with and stuff like that.
So that's that's kind of what's happening.
So wait and see what happens here.
I think some of the programs. So who knows, but we will have
more guests, we will have awesome content.
It's never gonna change that. But yeah, I think that's kind of
(31:36):
the idea. And like I say, summertime
coming up, but can't remember was going with that thought I
had a whole thing I was gonna goon through there, but oh, I
gotta cut it back, I think. But we were talking about we're
saying we were talking to all these cool guests.
But we've come a long way in thelast year and I think the hard
(31:56):
work is starting to pay off, man.
And it's fun to watch. And we got to talk to all these
cool people and like, I mean, you know, I mean, like, we've
got the here, we've got the herekind of thing.
Sounds pretty cool. Yeah, I think, yeah, it still
has potential to get to bigger. Oh, I think.
So it's bigger and. And I think it takes, and I
think it takes more than 100 episodes.
Yeah, You know what I mean? I think that's a lot of it is
just if you just, yeah, keep going down the road.
(32:20):
Yeah, definitely think it. I think there's definitely room
to grow even still, and we can. Yeah, we got tons of potential,
Tons of potential, Brian. Better here.
I gotta hear it from the from the audience here.
What do you think? So let us know too in the
comments, if you're listening still, let us know what you
would like to see, who you'd like to see.
Give us some recommendations forguests, even things to check
(32:42):
out, artists, whatever, man, throw those things that's gonna
say, throw them out. I may or may not have a
beverage, but up there now, but put them in the comments.
Send us a DM. We love everything.
It's just us. You're just talking to me.
You're just talking the same or Ryan.
So throw us a DM instant throws a comment on YouTube.
(33:03):
You can send us a message I think on YouTube even
technically speaking. So let her RIP y'all.
Shall we get back letter Buzz? Some new music Ryan here today
or once? My dear, show me a song.
So what do we want to get into here now?
So what? So what have we got into
Turnstile? So if we OK, we have.
OK, hit turnstile. We hit turnstile.
Let's see, what do you? What are you listening to?
(33:24):
You. Let's see.
So I was given a cool playlist the other day, so I picked it a
couple of jams out of those. Players that.
But we got a couple of cool jams, so we'll pick.
Let's pick. I found this one was like
walking the day. Let's pick this one.
I'm pretty sure this is it. No, no, this is not at all.
Who's that relics? Hit him with The Who is it?
(33:52):
Who is? It sticky buds.
We all love sticky Book lab Caleb feel the weight feel on
and the year was 1985. He's feeling the weight on his
shoulders. Couple bangers for you today on
a walk. Alright, bullshit.
(34:13):
So I have no idea who any of these people are.
No idea. Came into playlist and I like
it. So I was like, let's toss that
on the pod. We were doing new music.
Let's do that. New music, new new, new new.
OHP shit. He's gonna try.
You gotta try everything out here.
We let we. I don't know.
(34:34):
I especially love new music. Oh yeah, I like that.
And I love it when people share their music with me.
Sure, share. Share this caring sharing.
I love that's how it all worked out in the Napster days.
That was, I think that's the it's like the mix CD, like when
you give someone like here's some music man, check.
That out, yeah. Here's my playlist on Spotify.
Here's a QR code for my playlist.
(34:55):
Love it? Love getting new tunes?
So here's some new tunes. Check it out.
Maybe we'll share some playlistson our Insta.
We should do that actually. Click on the link on our stories
and go right to Spotify and listen to some tunage.
Some bangers, some bang ears. We got a lot of them.
(35:17):
What else we want to hit here? Tonight, DJ Sammy.
What else do we want to get in here tonight?
Let's see. Let's check a little.
Cricket in the house, where hereis that there is was up there
just making up right back, not creating.
Look at, look at look. Sharp dress, little cricket.
Sharp dressed man, get that? We should get that on a trigger.
(35:39):
Sharp dressed man and his fucking bam when he comes up and
plays. Sharp dressed man every time.
Damn son getting sued. Busy time.
I don't know, but you know what it would do you like coming in
from Universal Music could be like here's your.
Copier, you idiots. How dare you.
How dare you be funny on the Internet, you idiots.
(36:01):
They've given us a penny. No, I don't have a penny for
you. I'm not even getting.
It I have no pennies. I would sooner take the video
down. Yeah, that's how I feel about
that. Not really.
I don't do that, but I do edit the part where at least said you
should edit it, and then I put it back up again.
But let's see, let's go back to Ozark.
Let's go back to some old times, but New Times here.
(36:24):
Let's get in some royal Republic.
Royale. So this is from the new album
this year. Should we?
Yeah, they got a really good live show too.
I wonder if they got any new stuff on the Youtubes.
On the tubes of you. Yeah, yes.
But maybe. Just like on the What's the Book
of? Faces.
We got here the Book of Faces. Ain't got time.
(36:47):
Ain't got time by Royal? Republic Go check the boys out.
It's a. Little I know I I don't listen
to this one a whole lot, to be honest.
No. Why?
I'm more of a like a. Like some new.
Albums not yeah, I only like my host from that one.
Oh, really? Yeah, I like this one.
At least a couple of them. They're not like it's not as
(37:08):
Bangladesh as the other ones, but this is this parts banger.
This part, yeah, it's gotta get a little more guitary.
See, this is one of those songs that end up in my drum playlist
cause it's a fun drum song to play, but still banger 2 banger
tune. Technically speaking.
It's just there's something about that might find like this
(37:29):
song, like this type of song cause there's songs like this,
you know what I mean? Like in their catalog and I find
I don't know what it is. There's something about this
vibe that I really like about their songs.
They do a lot of cool stuff, like it's not just this, but
there's a couple of tunes that are like this and I like them.
They're super poppy, they're super catchy and there's
something about them, but I don't know what it is.
(37:49):
And it's like them. It's just very royal Republic.
Ohe, yeah. Like wicked.
Yeah, I'm gonna say they do giveme a little.
Just a tiny little Danko Jones vibe.
Yes, 100 percent, 100%. I'm pretty sure they've been on
the same bills. Before Really.
Wow. Yeah.
They have a little kind of like the rear catch, like catch you
like Little Rock bangers, like. Yeah, but yeah, I like, I enjoy
(38:15):
like all the, you know, baby and.
Rattata. Yeah, or from a few few years
back and yeah. Shall we, shall we indulge the
people? This is kind of like when the
pod first started. We kind of were hot on this.
Hot on the Royal Royale Republic.
Royal Royal. Royal Republic.
Yeah, you want to get into what's your like weekend man?
(38:37):
Like club. Club match.
Yeah, yeah. This is the one that we were
pretty hot onto for a bit here. What do you wanna do?
You wanna hit him with her because there's lots of dangers.
There's a whole album is a banger.
So if you haven't heard this one, go check out Club Majesty
Royal Public. Check out that album.
The whole album is fucking bangers.
Yeah, well, any, any old song. Let's see here.
(38:57):
What do we got here? What do we got?
What do we want? What we want?
I remember we had for these glasses.
Undercover was the song I chose for.
Him. We'll give him a couple teasers
here. Yeah, yeah, we can give him a
little couple 15 second little sound bites.
Yeah, when I made a little Instagram video.
(39:19):
For the funky, funky shit, that's what I mean.
Like, it's not always the same thing, but it's they're very
funky, very dancy. There we go.
Yeah, good one too. Yeah, bangers, all bangers, all
in a really good live set too ata metal festival and go watch it
cause it's awesome. Bow yeah, great, great.
(39:43):
Intro 6 Let's get you fired up by your man.
Love it right up. It's got a little like a metal
hair metal vibe and a little like.
A little bit of dancing and it'sa little bit metal.
(40:03):
Well, every. Little Yeah, it's not.
They're not like. One Direction, like a genre.
I don't feel like they're a genre necessarily, just like
dance, rock music, like party rock or whatever, like
somewhere, whatever way you wantto put it.
Quite a bit different, right? Like, yeah.
But they're always dancing. There's there's always a dancy
(40:24):
slate element to everything, I guess is banger.
Undercover is so good. We had that one on what else we
got. Plump Force Trauma is a banger
too. Skip over here. 8085 Radio.
We're on the radio here this evening, yeah.
Nice radio. Thank you for joining us.
(40:45):
Are we doing tonight? We're gonna little Royal
Republic going on here. Throwing a pack.
This is old school pod stuff, but all bangers man.
This is a real. This is actual.
Banger, you can't forget Anna Lee.
Anna Lee, the Banger. Oh yeah, that's the Best Song at
(41:06):
that. Really the Best Song to help me
technically, but it's the funniest song on the album.
I don't know why. It's just like it's, it's the, I
don't know, it's so good, It's good.
It's just fun. And that's what I like about
rural public as well. I think it's the fun factor
cause they look like they're having fun.
They're playing even backstage. Looks like a bit of fun.
Great live show. Yeah, super, super everything.
(41:26):
Like super everything. Particularly do a sick cover of
Metallica battery actually and they actually mean it sounds
better than Metallica makes it. Better.
Yeah, shots fired, shots fired large.
Oh my God, I actually right Larscatching the strains.
Of always catches one man. Poor pruning us now he's.
(41:49):
Come at me. He's my names, not Napster.
Take it easy over there. I never even played your song.
Take it. Easy, Lars is pulling the
Napster on us. You know, shut down, shots
fired. I love this.
Little bit little bit of controversy, never heard nobody
Matt Goods in town. I've already dissed him like 17
times on the pod, so we'll see what happens.
I'm even gonna pay money to go see the.
Show let's get him on the pod. He'll be like, hey, you guys
suck. No, man, he won't come on our
(42:09):
pod. He's not going on.
That dude is not going our pod, but he would never, never in a
million years. Never in a million years even if
I did buy VIP package. No, but I will pay money to go
see him. I wanna see a couple highlight
tunes. Give me a fucking bit.
Of well well cause I mother Earth is also being.
My mother earth is Mother Earth. And I can't wait to see him.
(42:30):
I love it. Literally nothing but bangers.
The whole thing, yeah, hit him with a little.
Used to be all right. Where are we at here?
Where we. Used to be all right.
Oh yeah, this is so. Much easier what we've done
here. This takes it to the cake here.
So this is like this would be like, I mean, I know this came
earlier, but like this would be like 1996 to 1999.
(42:52):
I would have been listening to something like this.
Ohhhhh man hit me with. It this is just a.
Classic. And this is a summer tune too.
So everybody welcome to summer. Thank the Lord it's fucking.
Summer A YW summer Summer edition.
Here we go. We're back again, everybody.
Macho man. It's the macho man.
Oh yeah, yeah, brother. We are back.
(43:18):
Totally back to your back. Yeah, What a jam.
What a jam, man. What a great, great jam.
What a tune. It might not have been that you
can't remember though. Can't remember, can't remember
though. But what a bang around this.
This reminds me of like summers back in Bishop files.
Maybe fucking. And might like much music days.
(43:43):
Gotta go throw a pack baht. Big throwback throwback.
They're always pumping up back. They pumped up by Mother Earth
tires all the time. Constantly, constantly man
scenery and fish. Everybody go check it out.
If you don't know, check it out.I think it was every Canadians.
We're good. We're getting a member on the
pot here. We're.
Getting we definitely gotta check that out.
My mother, if you're listening, come on the pot.
(44:04):
But we will put it out there. Gonna put it in the air.
We're gonna have those guys on. They're also coming to Grand
Prairie, coming upon us again, another concert.
We will definitely, I will definitely check out.
I'm sure we will probably end upchecking it out, but that's.
Right. Maybe we should do a?
Little Mac. Good, yeah.
Hit him with. Him with it, maybe we'll do a
post concert live. Live.
(44:25):
Live, live review. From the street we will do a
live insta on in the. Maybe you might get a taste.
Maybe get a taste of. It don't tell me about that.
Just kidding, we won't do that. Maybe spoiler spoiler alert
episode hundreds gonna be live from back then.
(44:50):
Fly backstage live. Just sneaking around.
We happy, we happy. That would be insane.
He's super funny though. It would be.
It would be a. Worker Podcast Funny, super
funny so. Funny, but I'm excited about
that concert is gonna be mad. I'm a huge fan, huge fan.
And both both versions or whatever you want to say.
(45:11):
Like I like Brian Burn, like Edwin.
That's right. Mix it up, hit me up.
I don't care. Brian Birds.
Brian Burns a homeboy, technically, so, yeah.
I do, yeah. I definitely do enjoy both
iterations of I Mother Earth. Happy that went back green.
Orange is not happy. Yeah, and so is this like this
is this is a banger album, frontto back Scenery Fishman.
Oh yes. I've owned a copy of it since
(45:32):
I'm pretty sure the year after it came out.
Pretty positive I have a copy ofthis in my vehicle right now.
Yeah, I listen to these songs still almost everyday, every
give or take. Day, I love it.
Loving it. Loving should we?
Should we hit him with something?
I don't want a newbie. Should we hit him with a newbie
here? We won't go down.
Don't you lane again. We've already, I think we
(45:54):
tapped. That well that helped Dochi
album Mobile shared with Dochi that album Alligator bites.
Yep, Shadow. Check it out guys, it's fucking
shit. OHP, man, if you're if you're.
Gonna hear something like. If you're a hip hop fan for
sure, like a real hip hop fan, 90s fan for sure, checking it
out. Check it out I think.
Yeah, such a good, good vibe. Oh, it's so good.
(46:16):
Man, but good. But do you know what?
Do you know what's so funny though?
It's like that song that is thatjust somebody I used to know
cover like that. Song is blind anxiety.
Anxiety like that, like it's like honestly, like when I was
listening to that album, I'm like, I don't really like that
song. It's just like.
(46:36):
But it's a radio song. It's very much a radio.
Song because yeah, but I didn't like the original either.
I didn't like Gotcha or whateverthe fuck.
Dude. Fuck godier.
Somebody. That one hit, but it's like, oh
man, it's like that song was blown up like and of course they
use it for the final destinationon the commercial and.
(46:57):
Shit. Oh, that's.
True to you. So like I'm glad it's blowing
up. I'm glad she's getting her
flowers, but that I mean that song I think is don't even touch
somebody else. No, nothing else, man.
Even you gotta listen to the whole, you gotta listen to the
other songs on that. Yeah, it's a.
Full Not that anxiety song. No, it's like a fool.
I mean, if you go even like justher catalog general is really
(47:18):
good. Like, I mean, it's very, very,
she has so much talent, it's noteven funny.
Like her rhymes are so good. The mega beats, the beats are so
good. Like it's and it has this, it
sounds super fresh, but it has this super awesome 90s influence
because the lyrics are good. It's not fucking shake my ass,
even though it is shake my ass. I like that.
(47:38):
Like, you know what I mean? Like it's not that, but it is
that sometimes it's a female perspective and I like that.
I like that man. Like I do, I'm not gonna lie.
I love little Kim. I love all that.
I love all that. I love that stuff.
Yeah. Foxy Brown.
Yeah. Come like, because it's a whole,
it sounds better because there'sa point of view that is not mine
(47:59):
and it will never be mine because it's a female point of
view. I like that.
And it's approached differently and it's just different and
like, it's so good. Artist year, Total Flowers,
Grammy, whatever, throw it up. Dochi, Artist of the year I
think last year. 100 Beverly Hills.
I love that. Song, yeah, man, so good.
Every song is good, and I mean, it has a place or whatever, but
(48:21):
they're so good, man. And it's not Even so much that
the album is good. It's like the performances are
unreal. Oh, you wanna check out the
performances? Like check out the Grammy
performance. Just look at that.
And that's a live performance. Like she is rhyming that and do
you know what I mean? Like so.
Good man, you're doing it, Yeah. She's like, like Beyoncé doesn't
(48:41):
even hold a candle to. This you busy who?
Be what? Be what?
What? JJ who?
Who? Day What day What day A.
No, no. But I mean, I just don't feel
it's even the same category here.
Talent is unbelievable. Not a fan of those two.
Not these days. Be honest.
(49:01):
No, I'm staying away from that. You're thinking about his little
sound effect there. That's perfect.
No, don't, no, but I mean unreal.
But we won't go down the road anymore.
We've already, we've already given whatever the word is, Give
flowers to the Max, Don't you? Don't you Shadow?
(49:22):
Come on, part. Come under.
That's all I'm saying. What else are we?
So we were talking a big record.Let's give him a taste of a new
big wreck here. New big wreck.
So we got. Like you guys are, you guys are
cut off. We're done with YouTube here at
this point, but I feel like we're gonna block us
immediately. Yeah, well, you Spotify gives us
(49:42):
some leeway. Oh yes, but.
Listen to this on Spotify, folks.
Check us out on Spotify. I love I am a fan of Spotify.
Over Apple Music 100% like 100. People who think otherwise, it's
like. I was a non believer for a long
time right? Then I transferred over a couple
(50:03):
years ago and was like, what wasI?
Gonna do. I just don't like the whole.
I just don't know. I just like because like you
came in earlier and I was already down a rat.
You were like apex twin and I'm like, oh, I'm already down a
rabbit hole right here. Now.
That's what's so cool On Spotifyyou can just go get lost into.
(50:23):
You know, easy to jump around. Yeah, super easy jump around.
That's the thing I find, man. Like it burns me, like the
difference between and I like tofind new music and I like indie
artists, you know? I mean, I think that's the
difference between Apple and Spotify is like Apple kind of
like almost like a record collection, you know what I
mean? Like it's almost like you're
buying something. Yeah.
And then Spotify is like how youfind it.
(50:44):
Like it's weird. Like that's how.
I don't mean like lost in a bad way, like you get lost.
I can't follow anything like no.You can search any song easily,
but it's easy to find. You could make your own
playlist, like songs that sound like this or like artists who
were kind of. Like this, and because you're
listening to all this. Stuff in the same genre or like
it gives you like, wow, maybe I'll like this.
(51:06):
Or like, I do remember this band.
Like, fuck yeah. It's just way easier to stumble
upon like good music or music like it's, I don't know, I I
just prefer Spotify, folks. I agree.
It's not just because it's our platform, but because.
On the This Is Us. We're all alone.
But it's just the thing, I don'tknow, just work better for me.
(51:29):
I feel better about it. I feel better about it.
Yeah, we only have two blocked episodes on.
Yeah, 2 and I don't, and I thinkit's direct contact, if you
will, because it's, it's not like the ones on YouTube, you
can tell they're just general, you know what I mean?
Like they're just whatever they are kind of thing.
(51:50):
But these ones are like this artist blocked you or this
artist filed A complaint or whatever.
I have to be a Patreon episode. That might be maybe that may be
a thing coming up in the new year.
Um, something that's something Iwas looking at recently,
actually. Be honest.
Unreleased episode. We'll leave it there.
We'll talk about it. And behind here.
(52:12):
We'll talk about it off the air,but what else we got in the what
else we got in there? A little list of goodies here.
Both not old at all. Both leaned over like we
couldn't see. Yeah, you can't see.
Shaking the book is what are you, 40 years?
Old are you? Geez, you can't see that?
Let's go something brand new from.
(52:32):
The Black Keys. Featuring Beck and Juice Jay.
This is actually a remix or what's going on here featuring.
Feature. Feature feedback and Juicy J
Yeah. Feature A little feature back.
(52:54):
Beck is the Scientologist. Sure is.
He's trying to convert to Dan Harbach and.
I don't think. It could be Patrick.
I don't think that could be doneto those two guys.
Those two gentlemen seem like the most obsessed normal dudes
in the entire universe. I'm Sauce.
He's probably is. I mean, he's a Scientologist.
That's kind of their thing, but.You know I love.
(53:16):
It OK boss, don't take us down. Do not take us down for this
song. Steering it down to it.
You just, you just knows. I know it's too much.
So he knows I knows. Too much.
That's a state that is. Do you believe they're tax
exempt? Well, everything is.
Don't get me started. I know what's happening here.
And why is that? Why is that?
(53:38):
Because technically your state and religion are mixed together
and you just don't. People don't look at it that
way. Like why do they have prayer in
church? Or prayer church prayer?
Why have prayer in school? Why would anybody want it?
It's not supposed to be right? Technically that's a government
ran out institution. Don't want to get technical
about things. That's right, Prayer, Andrew.
(54:00):
So I'm saying, man, praying, right?
Parent school. School fucked it all up.
But you know what I'm saying, people?
You know what I mean when I say it.
Well, I mean, yeah, because, youknow, they used to all have the
individual. It was all individual, right?
Because in all conflicts schooled.
They're still technically Catholic program and suffering
is the Protestants versus Catholics versus.
The keep it all in house, but I think Scientology I think is the
(54:26):
most outrageous of them all. No, no, I wouldn't say.
No, none of them all. None of them all take that back,
I take it. Back but in the be so widely
spread in public, especially amongst well respected people
and artists and whatever, you know what I mean?
(54:47):
Like in that world, it's a very odd.
Isn't it, you know, well, it, itbecame such a Hollywood thing to
do. Yeah, why didn't you know?
I mean, why Scientology? Why not?
Whatever, really. You know this is my Stone
Cutters club. You know what?
I. Mean well, I feel it's very
culty. I'm in the cult land, I'm in
Cotland, but all these things, really.
Are in the stone cutters. Because mostly I'm not a
partaker. We got two different colour
lights have been here this evening.
(55:09):
That's OK. No matter.
Doesn't even matter. But nobody's nobody's come for
the lights. They've.
Come Back also have a disturbingpiece to sticker disturbing the
peace check. Her out disturbing the peace
everywhere, everywhere. Everywhere.
Check out everywhere. Check everywhere bus follow on
Facebook as well. Check it out.
(55:30):
She's hot. Hot on to Facebook page, hot on
the Instagram. Let's go.
I'm not into the it's hard to get in on Facebook.
Facebook is dropped off my radar.
I use for the most part, it's not even that.
There's nothing worth looking aton there other than potentially
something somebody's marketplace.
I use it for marketplace, not gonna, but I mean, who can get
away from such things? But.
(55:51):
Marketplace, such a good, good thing.
I love it because someone selling it's like a 24/7 garage
sale. Well, this is, it's like a
thrift to me. It's like, it's like it's a
thrift store I don't have to go into and I could just look at
your shit. What do you got?
What do you got there? Nice.
You got a nice outdoor umbrella for.
(56:13):
The deck or. You got a nice.
I'm a sucker It'll. Be like old Golf Club there,
like stuff like this, might likethat.
You got there, now it's that there.
That's a pack of CD's I guess. I guess roped in on stuff like
that cause I'll open it up and I'm like, oh, I wonder what's on
the front page? You know what?
I'm all over. You don't.
I'm trying to say, alright, so you'll open it up and you'll
(56:33):
give it a flick and you're like,oh, look at that.
And the next thing you know, nowyou're like.
When you hit. At least 25 minutes later, 30
minutes later, you're like in this fucking zone of looking at
the most stupid shit that you don't need, which is cool shit,
I don't deny that, but it's stuff you definitely don't need.
Not right now. Not right now maybe, but I need
it later. Some other time.
(56:55):
But only down the road. But Oh yeah.
But I love the whole but I love it.
But I love. It I threw this one on sneaky.
We're just letting him play now.Yeah, we've come so far.
We've we're letting him play. Now BJ's gotta dance more by 8
track Canadian Montreal. Love it, love it.
But I love it. Can't.
(57:17):
Remember, we're talking about anymore.
Completely gone. We're talking about gotta
interrupt it now she's gone. She sure that's OK, folks?
She's short, she's gone. She's OK.
That's fine, that's fine. Enjoy it too.
It's everybody. Relax and enjoy it.
We were, I think we were just, we were ripping in there a
little. Bit we were getting off on a
tangent as normal. I feel like that's fine.
That's fine too. Yeah, but we've struck up on our
(57:41):
one hour mark here this evening.I think we were gonna nip it
off. Yeah, we'll close it out
tonight. Bangor tune.
Let's give him a little taste. Before we go home, dance More 8
track. Give a little please before we
go home. Dance with your.
People that's right, you gotta feel the vibe or you catch it,
(58:03):
you gotta feel it, feel the groove and then they go on.
DJ's gotta dance more. He's gotta know what.
The banger song, Yeah, it's actually pretty nice.
Keep it's. Just nice little, like, chill,
kind of like, yeah. Just keeps it going, keeps
fucking up this little bass. I like this kind of thing.
Not a whole lot going on, just. Pump it up.
(58:24):
It will have. Just pump it up.
Pump it up, baby. Well, Ryan Snow.
Here we go. Shall we shut down another?
Episode of That's right, and theyear was 1980. 5.
