What if the version of you that feels anxious, afraid, or overwhelmed... isn’t the real you?

In this episode, Dr. Abhimanyou Raathore — Clinical Psychologist, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and founder of the Antifragilient Operating System — takes you beneath the surface of your everyday emotions into a deeper truth: the Self with a capital “S.”

This Self is not an ideal to become — it’s the awareness that has always been there. Untouched. Unbroken. Waiting.

Building on yesterday’s exploration of inner “parts,” Dr. Raathore shares why so many of us lose touch with our core — not because it’s gone, but because it’s eclipsed by pain we’ve survived. Like sunlight obscured by passing clouds, the Self is still burning bright behind every fear, every defense.

Through a short guided journey, you’ll be invited to reconnect with moments of pure presence: holding a beloved pet, sitting in safe silence with someone you love, or helping a lost child. These are not just nice thoughts — they are windows into your Self-energy, your innate essence beyond protection or pain.

Even if trauma has made it hard to believe in that kind of peace, this episode offers a quiet, radical reminder: Your inexhaustible source of love cannot be destroyed.

Come home to the part of you that was never lost.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Today is August 3rd 2025.
My name is Dr Abhimanyu Rathoreand I am the founder of the
Anti-Fragilient Operating System, and here is the
anti-fragilient transmission forthe day.

(00:24):
Yesterday, we had talked aboutparts and I had helped you
recognize that we all have parts, and I had also helped you
understand that only you as Selfwith a capital S can actually

(00:49):
help your parts heal.
So what is this Self?
This Self, very simply, is theseat of consciousness.
It is the essential you.

(01:11):
But here's the interesting thingthat this word consciousness is
used very loosely and is vagueand a lot of people don't
understand it.
Let's understand consciousnessa little bit better.
So what exactly isconsciousness?
For all practical purposes, youcan understand consciousness as

(01:36):
whatever you are conscious of.
What does that mean?
That means that if, today, yourseat of consciousness is

(01:57):
occupied by some of your parts,or maybe one of your parts, and
that's why you're feeling upset,angry or whatever, then that's
what you're feeling upset, angryor whatever.
Then that's what you'reconscious about.
However, if you're operatingout of who you are, that is that
self.

(02:17):
You know that light in youwhich started in this body the
moment your life began, and itwill always be there.
That light is something whichhas never been touched by any

(02:40):
mistreatment that any one of ushas ever suffered, mistreatment
that any one of us has eversuffered.
But having said that, you know, hurt, wounded and powerful
parts can definitely eclipse theself when they get triggered,
and this is pretty much likewhat happens in solar eclipse

(03:01):
and it is pretty much like whathappens when the clouds cover
the sun on an overcast day.
These are the days when theseparts can make it difficult for
us to find our self, but justlike you know that the sun is

(03:23):
always there and it's stillthere, you can be absolutely
sure that the self is stillthere underneath all your parts.
So if you have suffered realsevere abuse, you know it could
be almost impossible to imaginethat self exists inside you.

(03:47):
However, every human being hasa self and it is an
inexhaustible source of lovethat cannot be destroyed.
That cannot be destroyed.

(04:10):
Now let's go through a veryshort exercise for us to begin
experiencing, or recollectingexperience of the self-energy,
just to get a sense of what youknow the self-energy really
feels like, and for that I wantyou to go ahead and you know,
close your eyes if you have to,and imagine these following

(04:33):
things scenarios that I take youthrough and notice if there's
anything that shifts inside youas you imagine them.
Ready, okay, close your eyes.
And let's start with the firstone.
The first one is take a momentto imagine being with a pet you

(05:04):
love.
Picture yourself stroking themgently or simply sitting next to
them.
Done Okay, now let's go to thenext one.

(05:37):
Continue with your eyes closed.
Now.
Imagine calmly sitting withsomeone you feel really
comfortable with, resting in theawareness that nothing needs to

(06:11):
be done or said.
Done Okay Now.
Here's the final one.
Now imagine seeing a 7 year oldchild Sitting on the curb On
the roadside, crying Becausethey are lost.
Picture yourself reassuringthem and helping them find their
way home.

(06:50):
So, do you notice any innerspaciousness, curiosity or calm
inside?
You See, if you notice even asubtle shift toward more inner
spaciousness, curiosity or calm, that's a glimpse of self-energy
.
And if not, no worries.

(07:13):
When I meet you tomorrow, we'llgo deeper into understanding
the characteristics the furthercharacteristics, I must say of
the self-energy.
So that's all I have for youtoday, and I'll see you tomorrow

(07:40):
to take you deeper into thisjourney.
Do share with me how thisexperience is going.
It'll be great to hear from you.
You can actually send me yourcomments through fan mail, and

(08:02):
that'll be fantastic.
I would love to hear, I wouldlove to hear, how these
transmissions are helping you.
Until tomorrow, thank you verymuch.
I'll see you soon.
Bye-bye.
