It's all about energy, and if you're an introvert, you aren't getting it by peopling. Not that you're misanthropic.  You just need to be very discerning about what and who gets your precious energy and build in recovery time. Deep dive with me into this topic

  1. Introverts are not incompetent extroverts, you have a whole different style of interfacing with the world that gets corrupted when you are expected to wear the mask of an extrovert.
  2. Introverts are empathetic and passionate people. You care about the people and causes they resonate with and commit to them unflinchingly.
  3. Because introverts expend energy from interacting with others, you selectively invest it in alignment with your passions.
  4. Introverts can see the patterns, connect the dots, and convene the right resources because you take the time to process - trust your instincts
  5. It's essential to rest and restore in order to be able to function best when interacting with others. Self care helps you exhibit your strengths not your weaknesses.

The Male Room with Dr. Jesse Mills

The Male Room with Dr. Jesse Mills

As Director of The Men’s Clinic at UCLA, Dr. Jesse Mills has spent his career helping men understand their bodies, their hormones, and their health. Now he’s bringing that expertise to The Male Room — a podcast where data-driven medicine meets common sense. Each episode separates fact from hype, science from snake oil, and gives men the tools to live longer, stronger, and happier lives. With candor, humor, and real-world experience from the exam room and the operating room, Dr. Mills breaks down the latest health headlines, dissects trends, and explains what actually works — and what doesn’t. Smart, straightforward, and entertaining, The Male Room is the show that helps men take charge of their health without the jargon.
