Asato, born in March 1996 in Ishikawa, Japan, was shaped by the influences of his mother, grandmother, and aunt from a tender age. In 2014, he relocated to Tokyo to pursue studies in fashion at Tokyo Mode Gakuen, followed by a move to London in 2018 to contribute his design expertise to MICHIKO KOSHINO and undergo training in Paris. In New York City in 2020, Asato worked as a designer at renowned establishments such as VERA WANG, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and MELITTA BAUMEISTER. And in 2022, Asato launched his eponymous brand, ASATO, in New York, marking a significant milestone in his flourishing career.
