Destiny often arises from the most unexpected places. For Cornelius Griggs, we will ask him to share his path forged through childhood adversity and mentorship that instilled in him the power of education.
Raised in some of Chicago's toughest neighborhoods and the foster care system, Griggs overcame homelessness, violence, and family struggles. Encouraged by mentors to pursue an education, he earned multiple degrees, served in the military, and went on to found a successful construction firm focused on uplifting disadvantaged communities.
