And you thought those Star Wars prequels were bad. It’s time for the second in our Space Jam double feature having nothing to do with either Michael Jordan or Looney Tunes although there is plenty of slapstick comedy in this “sci-fi” adventure from director Luc Besson, The Fifth Element. Join us as we untangle all of the unfunny elements (way more than five) in this misadventure that, while it’s visually alluring, has very little in the way of a satisfying experience. Spoiler alert: The Fifth Element is love, although two of us have very little of it for this film.
