In the past, the manufactured housing industry was plagued with outdated terminology and negative connotations. Today, manufactured homes are no longer considered “trailers” or “mobile home parks”—they’re like any other dwelling, except they’re constructed in environmentally protected areas, and can be a better option than site-built homes for many reasons.
Rick Robinson joins the podcast to discuss the evolution of manufactured housing and how the industry is promoting new factory-built solutions, such as barndominiums and modular mansions.
