Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning everyone .
Welcome to a short but sweetepisode of Bites and Body Love.
Today I want to talk about yourpie chart, your pie chart of
life, where you're putting yourenergy, and I just want to chat
about where you're at with thatand where you want to go.
So often I tell people aboutwhy I'm so passionate about

(00:25):
helping people with theirrelationship with food and body,
and the reason I am sopassionate about this is because
I'm very passionate abouthelping people use their one
life, their days that could benumbered, just all the energy

(00:45):
that they have to give back tothe world and themselves.
I want that to be used for themand we are held back so often
with our time, energy, finances, openness, and it's taken up by

(01:05):
this noise around food and bodyand diet.
Culture and disordered eatingis so pervasive, along with body
image struggles, and oftentimesit takes over our pie chart.
So let's discuss and I havesome questions for you to assess
your own pie chart.
I want to know where you arecurrently at.

(01:26):
So if you can envision a piechart, a circle I want you to
fill that in in your mind ofwhere your energy goes from day
to day.
Where are you at with that.
Ask yourself from day to day,on a typical day to day, or
think of your week or your monthwhere is your energy, energy

(01:47):
being spent, both actually yourphysical energy, what you're
doing, but also your mentalenergy.
Where is that going?
So take a second to askyourself that is it going to
your hobbies?
Is it going to people you love?
Is it going to people you love?
Is it going to taking care ofyourself?

(02:08):
Is it going to travel andadventure and fun?
Is it going to reading andexploring?
Is it going to fighting forthings you believe in?
Where is that energy going?
That energy going?
What about your mental energy?
What are you thinking aboutfrom day to day?
Where are your thoughts going?

(02:35):
Where do you spend a lot oftime with your thoughts?
And now I want to ask youspecifically around food,
exercise and body image.
What does that look like?
Where you spend your time?
Is it around cooking meals thatyou love, engaging in meals
with your family, friends,significant others?
Is it enjoyable?

(02:56):
Is your exercise enjoyable?
Does it feel intuitive?
What does that look like foryour exercise?
It feel intuitive.
What does that look like foryour exercise?
Now, how about body image?
Do you spend time thinkingabout your body?
When you do, is it appreciatingyour body, celebrating your
body?

(03:17):
And most likely, if you'relistening to this podcast, it's
because you're struggling withyour relationship with food,
body image, exercise, overall, trusting food in your body, and
therefore, I'm sure a lot of youcan say that a lot of your pie
chart is being taken up in someway or another by body shaming,

(03:38):
body image distress, countingcalories, over-exercising,
hyper-focusing on food, tryingto figure out how the heck to
navigate food binging,restriction, confusion,
researching the next diet.
And I want to ask you, if thisis you, what does that look like

(04:00):
?
How much energy does that take?
What does that look like?
How much energy does that take?
Do you find that you don't haveenergy or time or the ability,
due to this distress, to goafter hobbies, relationships,
goals, your ideal pie chart?

(04:21):
I want you to sit with that fora second.
I want to ask you how long haveyou been?
How long has your pie chartlooked like this for you?
A year, two years, three years, four years, more than that?
You have the ability to changeyour pie chart through effort,

(04:46):
work and doing thingsdifferently, if you haven't been
able to change your pie chart.
With what you have been doingjumping from diet to diet,
continuing to distrust your bodyand not lean into body trust,
not getting the support you needyour pie chart is going to
continue to look like it doesand your energy, your sacred
energy, is going to continue togo to those areas we don't want

(05:08):
it to go to.
So I want to name today thatit's important to raise
awareness around what your piechart looks like and what you
want it to look like, becauseyou do have the ability to
change it and awareness aroundthis is everything, and we can't

(05:30):
change the pie chart overnight, but we can slowly change it so
that it transforms into what youwant your pie chart of energy
and life to look like.
And if you are so ready to havethat pie chart you want and get
rid of the distressing thoughtsaround food and body and

(05:52):
behaviors and become anintuitive eater, become a person
that enjoys food and trustsfood and trusts your body and
has a compassionate relationshipwith yourself and your body.
If you are so ready for that, Iwant to invite you to apply to
our program True Food and BodyImage Freedom for Everybody by

(06:12):
going to jamierdcom and theapplication is there.
You can also DM me on Instagramat jamierd underscore the word
freedom to receive a free minicourse.
All about how to get to a placeof true freedom with food and
body image, where you can becomean intuitive eater, where you
can feel comfortable around food, where you can feel confident

(06:35):
in your body.
I look forward to seeing youthere.
I am so here for you to changethat pie chart and we will chat
next time.
