The Knights of the Round Table: The Voice of Rutgers Lacrosse Rick Mercurio

Rick Mercurio is the voice of Rutgers Mens Lacrosse. He is famous for his brilliant work in the broadcast booth and on the field as a player at Rutgers University. A legendary Coach at Sachem High School on Long Island. Rick is a 1975 Rutgers Graduate, a three time NCAA tournament participant, an ECAC scholar athlete of the year, a member of the Long Island lacrosse, Suffolk sports, Rutgers Athletics & Sachem High School Hall of Fames. During his time at Sachem from 1985-2005, Sachem won 316 games, Rick was the section 11 coach of the year 3 times, the National High School Coach of the Year in 1995 and won a New York State Championship in 1993. They also won 16 league & division titles.

In 2014 he was also an assistant coach for the Russian National Team and serves on the federation of international lacrosse development committee (World Lacrosse).
