Ron Johnson is a native of York, Pa where he attended York Catholic High School. He went on to play football at Shippensburg University where he graduated with a Degree in Speech Communications. Upon graduating from Ship, he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a rookie free agent. In just his 2nd season with the Eagles, he suffered a career ending back injury. He retired and Founded Rising Stars Football Academy to teach youth the game of football but more importantly academic excellence, leadership, life-social skills, overall health and wellness, financial literacy and more. He enjoys speaking and engaging with people of all ages to inspire them to reach their dreams and to succeed in life and in business.
