The show is about All things Boomer: What a Boomer is, Being a Boomer, Boomer perspective, Boomer tastes, Boomer accomplishments, Boomer Entertainment; Boomer Advice in order to deal with the challenge of how you and your views and background fit into the world today and how to move forward without feeling old with nothing to contribute in your "Golden Years". Everything that would and could interest a Boomer. It's about wearing that label with pride; even though some may use it pejoratively.
This is a continuation of episodes from Jay Kassing and Pete Moss that deal with the nostalgic things that are near and dear to (Baby) Boomers. This is a review of the best and most well known comedians of the period. If we leave anyone out, let us know here, on the Boomerography or 60s 70s and 80s facebook pages. We hope you have fun reminiscing with us!

Did you know that the Dillards, Andy Griffith, The Byrds and Dudley Moore were connected? As old Paul Harvey used to say, ¨It´s true!¨. There were so many cross connections in the music of the 60s that sometimes it's like playing that game with 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon. It was an explosion of music and genres that came from Boomers both as performers and buyers of the music. We all share in it together.
Do you know what Roots Rock is? We didn't until we did research for the show (yes we actually do that). We go through some of the most influential music of the 60s and most of it was made possible by we Boomers; both as performers and listeners and buyers of the records (remember those?). Enjoy remembering them with us both this week and next
Anyone remember Mel Blanc? He was the man behind Bugs, Daffy, Porky and many more. Without him most of the beloved Warner Brothers cartoon characters wouldn´t have had a voice. Remember him and them in this episode of TV of the 50s.
Remember "Leave it to Beaver¨? How about ¨Perry Mason¨? Why TV? Because Boomers are the first generation to grow up having television. We all have memories of our favorite TV shows and characters and catch phrases and I cover the high points in this episode. There was so much nostalgia there that I couldn’t cover it in one episode.

This episode deals with choosing a financial advisor and also deals with some of the pitfalls associated with that. Of course, I review and article on the subject and add my own thoughts. Of interest to you should be that if your are a Boomer you are probably going through many of the same things I am at this time in your life and we can share situations and solutions with each other and help with what is happening.
This week's episode is about something that comes to all of us. That is when we head for last roundup, take the dirt nap, wrinkle off. That means die. As the generation that has amassed the most wealth of any in history so far, it will all be staying here after we move on. Hence, we need to plan for how we want it distributed among our relatives, friends and charities before that happens. It is not depressing or morbid and sh...
In this episode with the stock market continuing to fall and folks either with IRAs, 401Ks or inheritance amid rising inflation we discuss areas in which you can invest to avoid these value eaters. Some are traditional, some are not and they are not numbered for ranking purposes. It is just a list. You are the one that needs to ultimately decide what happens with your investment portfolio and just "letting it ride and seeing w...
You might be wondering what this subject has to do with Boomers. As the oldest group around in most of the world today, health issues are likely to be every bit as important, if not more so, than financial issues for Boomers. Biden has proposed to sign on to the WHO's with new and tougher sanctions and international requirements for the treaty nations and that some say would supersede and subvert our constitution and sovereign...
With inflation running rampant the savings and inheritances of Boomers are eroding daily. This in addition to a falling stock market is reeking havoc on retirement funds. Here is a synopsis of an article from Kiplinger's that makes a lot of sense. We'll be dwelling on inflation and investments for the near future for sure. Don't jump off a building just yet.
