Were are consistently being recalibrated throughout our life – what are you recalibrating YOUR compass to?
In this episode, titled "Recalibrated," I reflect on the transformative journey I've experienced over the last few months. This period has been marked by a profound increase in wisdom and understanding, courtesy of the Holy Spirit. Through this divine guidance, I've come to grasp deeper spiritual truths and a renewed understanding of the Bible.
Throughout the episode, I explore how God has spoken to my soul, using various scriptures to underscore this truth. The insights the Holy Spirit has revealed to me about each of the gospels and even some of Paul’s letters are shared, highlighting how biblical prophecy has strengthened my faith by providing purpose and direction.
A significant theme in this journey has been the process of removing worldly influences, or "leaven," from my life, to allow the "leaven" of Jesus to fill my soul. This journey hasn't been easy; it requires letting go of control and fully submitting to God’s will. However, this surrender is essential for fixing our eyes on eternity and our eternal destiny. As Jesus taught, to gain life, we must lose it in the now, embracing our specific God-given purpose.
This episode is a heartfelt call to choose our unique path in God’s kingdom, understanding that each of us is created by God, precious and irreplaceable, with a specific purpose that we are called to fulfill.
Scriptures:
1. Proverbs 3:11-26-His wisdom&understanding are more precious than any gemstone&will not fade away like riches on earth.
2. Matthew 10:32-27-to gain eternal life is to lose this one.
3. John 10:1-2-Enter spiritual realm through any way but the gate (who is Jesus) is a thief and a robber;Jesus is the way. He is the good shepherd.
4. 2 Corinthians 11- Counterfeit spirits, a warning from Paul
5. Matthew 25:1-13- Fill yourself with oil (the Holy Spirit), so that your lamp will shine BRIGHTLY.
6. 1 Corinthians 5:6-8- Get the old worldly leaven out, and replace it with Jesus’ leaven.
7. Matthew 16:5-12- don’t let man fill you with (even with a little) leaven that is not of the everlasting word of Jesus- beware of false teachers who teach anything other than Jesus’ testimony.
