In this episode, the 2nd in a series for fitness instructors, we look at BIAS.  If you haven’t completed the Harvard Implicit Bias Test from the last episode, be sure to do that first. The results from this quick 'test' will help you as we talk about bias this week and how it could affect your classes. Take a listen to the video and complete the suggested activities.

Assignment:

Pay attention to how often you reference weight or weight loss in your classes this week. What would happen if you took out all references to weight, weight loss, or aesthetic goals. In the coming weeks we will talk about what we COULD be saying instead.
