Liz Gural is a registered dietitian working in the private practice setting. Liz has dedicated her career as a RD to working with clients who have eating disorders (past/present, diagnosed and undiagnosed), clients who experience disordered eating, clients who want to better their relationship with food and body image, and clients looking to learn how to eat intuitively and heal from diet culture. Liz takes the principles of HAES and intuitive eating into each and every session in order to best serve her clients. Liz has dedicated her almost 3 year career as a dietitian to serving these populations, and will never turn back. After struggling with her own undiagnosed eating disorder for 10 years, Liz takes what she knows both personally and professionally about the topic, and helps clients heal their relationships with food and their body.

In this episode Liz shares her journey toward become a dietician, the lack of eating disorder education dietitians receive in school, and how many dietetic programs perpetuate fatphobia. She also shares the harm of treating eating disorders while not being HAES aligned and shares why she thinks its important to share her story and so much more.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
