Speaker 1 (00:00):
Perhaps you've heard
people joke about having the
mother effer gene, maybe evenlaughed along.
Well, it sounds funny, right, but behind the acronym MTHFR is
a serious clue, one that mightjust unlock the next level of
your wellness, performance andlongevity.
I'll never forget when a clienttold me Jeff, do you think it's
(00:22):
possible?
I've got this gene mutation.
That explains my anxiety, myenergy crashes and why coffee
sends me to the moon.
He thought it was a fluke untilwe dug into his DNA age test
and, sure enough, mthfr mutation.
And it wasn't just affectinghis mood, it was impacting how
(00:44):
his body processed B vitamins, removed toxins and recovered
from workouts and his demandingoccupation in motorsports.
This is more than just hype.
It's personalized biology andit might be the missing link in
your high performance protocol.
So stay tuned.

(01:46):
Today, my friends, today you'reabout to discover something
truly revolutionary inhigh-performance health.
Yes, it's the latest buzzword, but what exactly is MTHFR really
?
Well, mthfr stands formethylene tetrahydrofolate
(02:07):
reductase.
Yeah, I know, it's a mouthful, that's why we say MTHFR.
But what is it?
Well, it's actually an enzyme.
It's an enzyme that helps yourbody convert folate which is
more commonly known as vitaminB9, into its active form,
methylfolate.
This active folate is criticalfor things like detoxifying
(02:31):
harmful environmental substancesor even internal toxins,
producing good moodneurotransmitters.
I'm talking aboutneurotransmitters like serotonin
and dopamine.
It also helps to regulatehomocysteine levels.
What does that mean?
Well, think, heart and brainhealth.
And then it also assists DNArepair and replication.
(02:55):
Right, your body is a processand that DNA needs to be
repaired and it replicates inorder for you not to have issues
down the road.
And then it also helps inreducing inflammation.
You may know inflammation, known as the silent killer.
Well, that is absolutely true.
And, additionally, the truth is, if you've got a variation or
(03:20):
mutation in the MTHFR gene.
Your body might not be doingthese things efficiently, which
can lead to symptoms likechronic fatigue, brain fog,
hormonal imbalances, anxiety ordepression, trouble detoxing
from things like alcohol ormedications, medications and
(03:42):
especially environmental toxinsor increased inflammation or
even cardiovascular risk.
Now that I named some of thosethings, you know, I'm not
claiming to be able to treat, diagnose or cure any of these
diseases, but this translates toif you're pushing hard in
business, in fitness or inracing and your body is not
(04:06):
keeping up, this might be thereason why.
Now you might be wondering, jeff, is this just another fad,
the latest craze in health, oris it a scam?
Is it a fad?
Well, let's clear something up.
Or, you know, is it a scam?
Is it a fad?
Well, let's clear something up.
Mthfr is not a trend.
It's a genetic reality for upto 40% of people in some
(04:29):
populations.
So what's changed is ourability to test for it
affordably and to take proactive, targeted steps based on that
knowledge.
This isn't about fear.
It's about precision, becausewhen you know how your body
works at the genetic level, youcan do things like choose the
(04:50):
right supplements I'm talkingabout methylated B vitamins
instead of synthetic folic acidin things like energy drinks or
in the most common multivitamins.
You can do things like modifyyour diet and your exercise
routines to fit your genetic andepigenetic profile.
You can optimize your trainingrecovery, you can support
(05:11):
long-term health and, especially, mental clarity.
It's the difference betweenguessing and knowing.
So you might be wondering howdo you find out if you have it?
Well, you can actually find outthrough a simple at-home finger
prick blood test called MyDNH,and it's available through our
(05:31):
practice and it not only checksyour MTHFR status but it also
gives you a full epigeneticprofile.
Epigenetics are above yourgenetics.
There's genetics which cannotchange, like you cannot change
(05:54):
your genetic profile.
You know if you have acondition, a medical condition,
today, but you didn't have it 20years ago, you know it doesn't
mean that you're um, you knowyou have the same genes as 20
years ago.
So why do you have that today?
And it's because some geneswere up regulated or down
regulated, and this is what'scalled epigenetics.
So your environment controlsyour epigenetics and those are
(06:20):
changeable.
So what does this all mean?
It means that we can actuallynow see biological versus
chronological age through thisamazing test that can be done
right at home.
Like I said, just a simplefinger prick.
You fill up a small vial ofblood, just from a simple finger
prick with a lancet and you cansee.
(06:41):
This is called the Horath clock.
This is a technology developedby Dr Horath and it compares
your biological age to yourchronological age.
And, yes, we can actually slowdown, stop and reverse aging
Biologically.
Of course, there's not much Ican do about the amount of
rotations that you're on thisearth around the sun, meaning
(07:03):
your chronological age.
However, your biological age.
There's certainly things thatwe can do to slow that rate of
aging down.
This comes down to things likeoxidative stress and so many
other factors, includinginflammation markers, your
immunity, your detoxificationpotential, your risk for
(07:26):
cardiovascular disease, yourrisk for cognitive decline.
This plays a huge role.
Epigenetics plays a huge rolein your susceptibility to things
like alzheimer's and dementiaand how your current lifestyle
is aging your body.
All from one drop of bloodyou'll get a full report of over
(07:46):
100 biomarkers, a 60-minuteone-on-one lab consultation with
myself or one of my coaches anda personalized,
high-performance wellness planto support things like longevity
, recovery, energy and mentalclarity.
So what's the real cost of notknowing?
Well, let's be honest.
(08:06):
Just a few hundred dollars foryour personal genetic profile
and a proven plan is pricelesscompared to the cost of things
like burnout or recovery thattakes you out of work, be
slowing you down, or thousandsof dollars spent on mystery
protocols that just simply don'twork or, even worse, chronic
(08:36):
disease that could have beenprevented with early
intervention.
Because your health is not justa line item, it is your
multiplier In high stakes, business and high performance
living.
