Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hello, all right, well, just giving an update.
Not really a whole lot has beenhappening.
We're having the hearing laterthis week, our personal
bankruptcy hearing.
We had to provide a statementfor a stock account that we have
.
What else?
We've had to work really hardwith our auto loan company to

(00:21):
get the reaffirmation doc sentover and so we've had to call
them like three or four timesand basically the reaffirmation.
The way they do it is you callthem, you tell them and then,
like within a week, the loanteam will forward it onto their
legal team and then, like a weeklater, the legal team will
write up the document and then aweek later they'll send it back
to the loan team and thenthey'll fax it or email it to

(00:44):
our bankruptcy attorney.
So that's been taking a longtime, surprisingly.
But we're meeting with ourtrustee later this week on our
group Zoom and we'll have ourpersonal case.
Proceed from there.
We heard a few days ago that thestudio had a soft reopening and
that'll include the originalmanagement team that was there

(01:08):
when I bought the place and noidea how it's going or has gone.
Um, no one's really telling meanything.
I'm not really asking anything,so it's been pretty quiet.
Uh, what else?
Still haven't heard anythingfrom the seller.
Uh, when he texted me asking ifwe could have a discussion, uh,
we haven't really heard fromhim.
Since I called him back andtexted him.
I haven't heard anything.

(01:29):
Since that's been pretty quiet.
Let's see.
What will probably happen thatI'm bracing for is the trustee
will say okay, things look good,we're going to settle on this
amount that I owe, and thatwould be like the payout towards
the creditors, and my attorneyhas been telling me it'll be
about three-fourths or 75percent of the cash we have in

(01:52):
our bank.
We have some personal assets, like tangible assets that are
that are worth something, andthey go into our giveaway pile
of things.
Some things are worth keeping,so, like we'll pay cash of the
funds that we're so like we'llpay cash Of the funds that we're
allowed to keep, we'll takesome of that to buy back the
items from the creditor.
It's like family heirloom typethings.
But there are some things thatwe're not willing to keep, like

(02:14):
I have some collectibles thatI'm fine not having, and so
those would go towards thetrustee as well.
That's it for that side.
The that's it for that side.
The business buyer or the newowner was messaging me back and
forth like, hey, I want to buythe equipment, tell me what to
do, tell me what not to do.
And I was preparing to tell himlike, hey, I'm not your
equipment broker.

(02:34):
If you want me to negotiate forthe bank, happy to sign a
broker form, I'll charge youmoney for it.
But I'm happy to facilitatethat.
But I was getting pulled intosomething that's not really my,
my responsibility anymore.
Um, so that's been pretty quieton that side of things.
Uh, I think at this point we'rejust looking to move on with

(02:54):
life.
Um, day job's going pretty well, um, life's progressing onward
and we're at.
We're like five weeks now sincethe studio closed and they
already have it reopened, sogood for them.
It was a pretty quickturnaround.
That was kind of nice to see.
No idea if the more recentmanager or members are going to

(03:14):
come back to the studio.
Not a clue.
I'm kind of watching that fromafar, but not sure what's going
to go down.
So sorry, I just blowed acandle, so now I'm like gag if
it's going to go down.
Sorry, I just blew out a candle, so now I'm gagging a little
bit.
That's where we're at right.
Now we're going to go make somedinner, go enjoy the night and
do things one day at a time.

(03:35):
That's where we're at, that'swhere we're going.
Let's rock and roll.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
