I’m Chef Lorious..a California born and raised girl, but my family and life influences are from the heart of Dixie, Alabama. I’m all about combining classic (Alabama) and contemporary (California) methods of doing everything from cooking to talking. This podcast is an extension of my cooking channel on YouTube and Facebook “Chef Lorious”. So in addition to cooking up classic & contemporary comfort food, here we will have real and honest conversations about food, family and life. I believe in being authentic to yourself and embracing all of the areas and life influences that make you unique. My mom will be joining me on this podcast, as well as different guests from time to time. Mom and I talk about pretty much everything, and we’re not afraid to disagree with each other. So if you want a laugh, while having some practical discussions about life and family, you’re going to love Calibama Talking. We welcome you to send in questions or topics you’d like us to discuss. We’ve already got some good ones lined up—like how to end a contentious conversation and how to walk away from a friendship or a romance that just ain’t working for you.
