Today, I'm going to go through a few scenarios that I have picked up from having clients discuss with me some of their struggle. So, taking on the world problem today is what we're all about. Actually no. But wouldn’t you like a magical solution? Well, I'm not going to propose a magical solution. But I am going to come up with three simple steps to make a shift. Now I know we've been hearing about mindset work and mindfulness quite a bit out there in the media. But, let's just keep it to three simple steps today.
When we're dealing with anxiety, or a struggle or a problem, there's actually a space…now that's where the magic lies. There's a space between our experience and our reaction. So, researcher Victor Frey states that between stimulus and response, there is a space. And Steven Covey goes on to take it a step further and he says, in that space lies our freedom. Our power to choose our response. I know, easier said than done. And there lies our growth and our happiness. Because we've all heard that we're given these problems in our life so that we can learn our lesson. So, let's just try to learn our lesson faster, in my opinion. Mark Twain had like, more like a blunter statement, when he said, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting much different result. Yeah. So, we what might not be able to change the situation or the problem, but we can find that space before our reaction, or even as we’re reacting, we can make a shift. So, mindset work and mindfulness. I, they talked about that space, too. But let's just talk about that space as being magical today.
So, call in change. Call in action. Call in a shift. Call it in with Dar!
