The coterie remained separated, fighting their own battles. Doris was taken to safety by an old acquaintance, Evangeline retrieved the snake’s husk, Val terrified the hospital staff, and Everett, realizing he was about to die and being very, very hungry, decided to free the beast and feed on one of his captors. Will satisfying his hunger be enough to save him from a deadly fall out of a crashing helicopter?
