The show is a coming-of-age comedy centered on the relationship between two inseparable best friends, Davey & Jonesie. The shows creator Evany Rosen joins the podcast, Evany a founding member of the Canadian Comedy Award-winning comedy troupe Picnicface, and has years of comedy writing experience with partners such as CBC, Crave, Disney, DreamWorks, AppleTV and Cartoon Network. Next Up is stars Veronika Slowiska and Jaelynn Thora Brooks. Veronika has recently grown a huge following for her quirky skits and comedy on TikTok garnering her over 390k followers, with her videos getting 13 million views.
