Hello from the Amplify newsroom. I'm Tomorrow Cartwright. An update
on ACT public school closures for tomorrow following the contaminated
colored sand products. Twenty five schools are closed tomorrow, down
from the sixty nine closed today. Sixteen schools are partially
open and fifty one schools are fully open. To check

Directorate website. Asbestos testing and remediation work will continue tomorrow
on all of the impacted schools. The Federal government is
providing over three point eight million dollars in disaster ready
funding for six ACT projects, including a new flash flood
warning system. The ACT government and other partners are also

chipping in two point four meal, taking the total investment
to more than six million dollars.
