Jorge Drexler es un cantautor uruguayo y llegó al escenario mundial en 2004 cuando fue el primer uruguayo en ganar un premio Óscar por la canción “Al otro lado del río” de la película "Diarios de motocicleta". Su álbum “Salvavidas de Hielo” se lanzó en Septiembre de 2017 y ganó el Premio Grammy Latino a Mejor Álbum de Cantautor en 2018. En este episodio, Jorge desarma “Silencio”, el segundo sencillo de “Salvavidas de Hielo”. Aquí comparte desde el primer demo que grabó en un hotel en Bogotá hasta las versiones que tomó la canción al trabajar con el productor español Carles Campi Campón. Juntos, armaron el sonido de este álbum que solo utiliza voz y guitarra.
