This Thanksgiving Sesh kicks off with solar storms, weird weather predictions, and Cybertruck slander, then slides into what most of us really care about this time of year, surviving family time, keeping our sanity, and making the food taste better with a little THC. You two riff on Friendsgiving, delinquent childhood experiments with fire and dry ice, and how cannabis turns awkward holidays into something you might actually look forward to.

In this episode we get into:

  • Thanksgiving, but make it weird

Solar flares, shifting currents, wild weather predictions, and how all that background chaos matches the vibe of the holidays when you are stuck around people you do not always like.

  • Rotten Bananas and holiday strains

The Rotten Bananas strain holding down the sesh, plus what you are all smoking for Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving this year.

  • Edibles as emotional armor

How a good edible or tincture can take the edge off forced family time, why dose control matters, and why 100 mg tincture droppers are for pain and sleep, not for casually dumping into scrambled eggs.

  • How to build a cannabis Friendsgiving without wrecking everyone

Canna butter as the MVP, using infused butter after the turkey comes out instead of roasting with it, dosing mashed potatoes person by person, and why tinctures and oils make it way easier to keep things predictable.

  • Infused dessert ideas that actually make sense

Infused gravies, apple and pumpkin pies, canna sugar, homemade infused whipped cream, coconut oil tricks, and how to keep flavor good while sneaking cannabinoids into the holiday table.

  • Volcano bags, bongs, and shared rituals

Turning Thanksgiving into a mellow session instead of a stress test, from bringing the Volcano to hosting a proper Friendsgiving where everyone knows what they are getting into.

  • Gratitude without the cheesy speech circle

How serving others, doing small good things without needing a “thank you,” and sharing flower becomes its own gratitude practice, especially when you do not vibe with everyone in the room.

If you are planning a cannabis Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving, this episode gives you a bunch of ways to infuse the meal, keep everyone safe, and still enjoy the chaos without white knuckling the whole day.

(00:02):
I'm Brandon. And I'm Jesse we're.
Cannabis school having cannabis infused conversations with
everyday. People.
Cannabis companies. Celebrities.
And your mom? Welcome to the sesh.
It's funny, dude at work, it must sound really pretentious
sometimes because this girl comes in and she's all oh, look

(00:23):
at these beautiful pictures fromthe Aurora borealis.
And I'm like, where did you see that?
She goes here and it was brighter than last year's.
And I'm like, she goes, isn't itcool?
I don't know. Cool.
Yeah, yeah, that's cool. And she goes, you don't think
it's cool? And I'm like, do you know
anything about the sun? And she goes, yeah, it comes out

(00:45):
every day. And I'm like, well, those
beautiful lights that you saw inthe sky means that our
electromagnetosphere is really weak.
And what that means is that if we saw it really bad, like red,
this was pink. Oh yeah, I saw.
And I'm like this, that's reallyclose one to red.
And she goes, what's red? And I said, go read about the

(01:08):
Carrington Event and people describe red skies that were
pulsing. And she goes, what would it do?
And I'm like, go to your desk and read about it.
So I'm not going to tell you about, I'm going to tell you is
that it's going to affect the weather patterns.
Did you know that the weather patterns have changed?
The South, South and Atlantic anomaly, which changes the
current of water in the ocean has shifted.

(01:31):
So the warm water typically goesone way and the cold water goes
another. That's where the currents go
from. Well, it completely shifted.
So now the weather, it's going in the opposite direction, which
has shifted the weather of the planet.
And So what happened is that we are going to get one of the
driest winters we've ever had. No snow.

(01:52):
No snow. You know where it's getting
snow. Craziest places.
Texas is going to get hit with abig cold front again, worse than
before. All of the Midwest, really bad.
Really really fucking bad. All of the lake areas.
They're going to get record snowlike they have like 5 years ago.
Here's the other crazier places.East Coast down to Florida.

(02:15):
East Coast often gets. North Africa is going to get hit
with blizzards. That they never get snow.
Egypt, never. Kuwait, Nope.
Iraq, yeah, Parts 'cause it's a lot like here.
Iraq and Afghanistan, they're very different.
They're really, really hot, but they're also very.
The winters are fucking brutal. All of Europe is going to get
pounded with snow. We will not.

(02:40):
Parts of Colorado will not get snow.
Idaho is not really going to geta lot of snow.
We will get dustings of snow, but nothing like the rest of
the. But it's because of these
currents that shift. And I hate that I know those
things because now I pay attention to it and when we're
just like. Weird.
Oh dude, where are you guys seeing snow?
Dude, it's crazy, but when you see that, when the

(03:02):
electromagnetosphere does that, they've had massive outages of
bless you, bless you, bless you.You should be taken to Zyrtec.
Remember what he was talking about?
Yeah, like I thought that was cool.
Oh, that was really cool. It's like makes total sense.
You want to combat take take a allergy Med.

(03:23):
Well, it was only once in a while.
Yeah, just take it once a month. You know.
Yeah, take it, it's going to help you out.
But now anyways, it's it just sucks because it sounds like I'm
pretentious. But then what was really funny
is the mainstream news is now reporting about it.
And they're like, yeah, this, this is pretty big because we
had three massive Cmes hit us again and bigger than.

(03:46):
Before that sucks. You want to see some new than
crazier shit? Look around the globe about
Earth. Unsettling.
And there are roads in South America, like deep and it's not
the surface level. The the impact came from 10 to
30 miles down below. So it shifted that far down.

(04:08):
Shit's going on, man. Did you see that crazy bridge in
China? One of the longest and biggest
bridges collapsed. Oh wow, what was the cause?
Do they know? Ground shifted.
Wow. Yeah, and in Kilauea in Hawaii,
they have volcanoes going off. Not your usual.

(04:29):
Like a fucking fire hose. Tornado Volcanoes.
No. Oh.
They're spraying. Spraying magma?
What pressure? Holy cow.
Not good, dude. The earth squirting wild.
Just hurting for a squirt. Yeah, it's like, all right,
things are about to change. Oh my God.
But, you know, I mean, is it going to be like the crazy

(04:50):
things that Ben Davidson would say or David Dubine?
Like I watched some David Dubineyesterday.
Really. Yeah.
And I mean, he is, yeah, he's, he's really depressing to watch.
But he's he's really spot on because it's sucked because he
it was something he was talking about before.
And he's like, yeah, people think it's going to be there He
goes. It's not going to be like this

(05:11):
crazy. Like if you ever seen this movie
called The Day After Tomorrow where the world freezes
instantly that's based off of like.
Yeah, I've seen that. That book.
I've seen a movie so good. You've seen it, but it's not
necessarily like that. But it will disrupt migration
patterns you. Can see that.

(05:31):
It will disrupt. Change of weather and stuff
Where? Food production.
Because it would have to shift to different seasons, different
stages. And wealth, wealth will
definitely change because, and we're starting to see that.
And the, and this is the shitty thing, like David Dubine's been
talking about this for a while. He's been talking about like
you're going to start seeing shrinking products in food, and

(05:54):
back then you weren't seeing it.But gradually, have you noticed
that things keep getting smallerand smaller?
Every time I look down I'm like holy shit, is it really that
small? Dude, that's what happens when
you get to your 40s. Just kidding, it actually goes
in the opposite way. It's crazy.
Now it's down to. My knees and your Dick grow,
would that be? For some reason I got to toss my

(06:16):
balls over my shoulder. Yeah, there was this guy who
worked at the state hospital. He goes, you know when you're
getting old, like, what's that? And he goes when you take a shit
and your balls touch the water and I'm like, good.
Lord, oh God. Like these Really, Reggie Balls?
And welcome to the Sash. We're just chatting with people,
you know, but. Happy Thanksgiving.

(06:39):
Happy Thanksgiving. Whether you guys are with
family, with friends, or just chilling at home tuning in,
listening to us, we're glad you're here.
Yeah, and you know, we're just going to have a rando
conversation, but there's like AI mean, like I was talking
about earlier, there's a lot of shifting going on, not only in
the planet, but in people. And it's been, it's been good to
see a lot of really good things going on lately.

(07:01):
I know they're suffering in the world, but you know it.
It's not instantaneous change byany means, but it's been good to
see like. Crazy shit going on, yeah.
But the, the, you know, even like, I'll put some links over
there I gotta send you to like, like UFO sightings or getting
nuts. Bro, what's your guy's strain
for Thanksgiving? Honestly, we had been rocking

(07:22):
rotten bananas for the last episode and it was so pleasant.
It was kind of hard not to continue.
But now I'm worried that we might not have enough for this
whole strain. Well, the rest of it is for you,
but you know, and we could load up another.
One I thought we no. No, there's a little bit left.
Did you not load more in? I would load a little bit more.
I left some in there. OK, well I loaded some in mine

(07:43):
too. I just.
No, you should have to. See how we go.
So I just want to make sure we had enough.
No, I just started thinking about like all the things like I
don't want to do those stereotypical.
Like, you know, here's what I'm thankful for.
I'm thankful for clean water. I know I'm thankful for for ham.
Do you always do Thanksgiving food on Thanksgiving?
Yeah, typically. We, my family's got in and out

(08:07):
of that, depending on the year some years.
Your family does in and out for Thanksgiving.
Oh God, no. But we've actually changed up
like typical Thanksgiving dinnerstuff where we're just like,
we're not feeling mashed potatoes and Turkey or ham.
I'm like, all this standard shit.
So one year we did how many pizzas?
One year I think we did like something Mexican because why

(08:29):
does it need to be Thanksgiving food if we're not feeling that
food? Like who cares?
I, I I bother your time? Oh yeah, yeah, it.
But to us it's just the time like, and we could be eating any
other type of food and some years it is that and other years
like this year we're doing standard Thanksgiving, we got a
Turkey, we're doing ham, we're doing, you know, potatoes, all

(08:51):
that other stuff. But some years we're just like,
we're just not feeling all of that.
We want a different type of meal.
So we just, it's not every year, but I feel like maybe every 3-4
years we switch it up and do a random like whatever meal we're
feeling at the time. Do you guys do, what do you guys

(09:12):
do on Thanksgiving? Like do you guys go to friends?
Do you guys do Friendsgiving family?
You guys just chill at home? Do you guys work?
Because it's like, oh, double time on Thanksgiving.
You know, for me, it's did you ever get into football, playing
football Thanksgiving morning. No, I was never I, I didn't,
well, a lot of the reasons why Ididn't get into football, I

(09:34):
didn't have parents that really wanted me to.
I mean, I played baseball and, and it's great.
It was fun. I enjoyed it.
I'm not a fan of watching baseball, but I like playing
baseball or like, you know, playing like a softball game
every once in a while if I'm stretched out and not going to
die. But I'll tell you, like, I just
never got into that, which kind of sucks 'cause I mean, I, I

(09:56):
wish I would have because I see people enjoying football games
and I'm like, oh, that's, that looks like fun.
I there was a couple years when I was super, yeah, not super
young, but like young married like early 20s and stuff that me
and my brother and a bunch of friends every Thanksgiving would
go play like. Turkey Bowl.
Football. Yeah, just for a couple hours.

(10:17):
Yeah, half the time it would be snow and it was always a blast.
Like, I loved that I didn't play, I mean.
But you guys play like flag or touch?
Later on, no, we, I think we didflag or 200 touch, but one of
the years we had some guy showedup and he played for one of the
universities on their football team and he just had fucking
magic hands. He was a wide receiver and he

(10:39):
would jump up and just like grabit with the tip of his fingers
out of nowhere and like. Catch it and.
Run out like what the crap bro? I couldn't imagine playing with
your brother, your brother-in-law, James, 'cause
that would be a he's big. Yeah, it would be a bad day.
Yeah, but it's not he'd. Probably go half tackle anyways.
He's bigger though, so he's not as fast and he can't move.

(11:01):
He's not as agile. So it's no.
And so like I was always quick, but I could span and twist and
move. And so it's different if someone
big is running at me. Yeah, I'm gonna span.
I'm gonna like, I'm gonna Juke them because I know they're
slow. They don't move the same as I
do. And so they hit hard.
Oh, yeah. Fuck yeah.

(11:21):
And you don't want to get hit because that will hurt and knock
the wind out of you. But like, I don't know.
I was always just tiny wiring had all this energy.
So I was like, oh, spin dipped. Like, yeah, that was just.
Done. I never well and I didn't have
like, you know, you had brothersand cousins and stuff and I
didn't have any. Of that and we had the whole
cul-de-sac when I grew up, half the cul-de-sac had boys my age

(11:44):
and so whether it was one person's backyard down at the
church, my backyard, we were always playing baseball,
basketball, football, like we were always playing something.
We had ramps in the middle of the cul-de-sac, you know, doing
bikes or roller blades and. Yeah, there you go.
Like it, all of that. Yeah, I didn't have that, man.

(12:05):
I mean, I just hung out with delinquents.
You know, we were getting in trouble lighting fires, you
know, thinking of ways. To that, as I was older, you
know, lighting fires and dude one time going down and getting
dry ice and making a movie with all these army people and making
dry ice bombs. And doing dry ice bombs, like
making way too big of dry ice bombs, like 'cause you know,

(12:26):
growing up you had like the 2 liters, but then, you know, your
family would go over to like, food for less or something like
that. Yeah, you get that, Shasta.
Yeah. That big fucker.
And then you put some big ass chunks of dry ice, like the, the
best part was getting dry ice. Like you just go there and
they're like, what are you doingthis for?
I'm like, oh, we're making root beer.
Oh, these kids, right? They're like, OK, I'll give you

(12:49):
a hazardous chemical, but you'rejust making root beer, right?
Oh. Every time.
What else can you do with it? They're like, well, good group
beers good. And they're like, yeah, you get
this big block, you're breaking it up with a hammer, and then
you're just putting chunks in there, dude.
I think one of the funniest onesis my buddy, his mom had this.
Like, you know those hotel bar little bottles of liquor, right?

(13:13):
OK, Yeah. He caught one of those and it
was plastic, was a Bacardi 1 andhe put these little chunks in
there in a little bit of water and he and it would shoot the
cap off like a gun and we're like, oh, that's cool.
Then he puts it on pop pop and then he did it one time and he
put it really tight and it went.It went pop and it blew out the

(13:34):
bottom and it hit him right the diff.
Honey. Just doubled over but.
I only did a little bit with dryice.
We did way more with like fireworks where we would take
out all the gunpowder and so we would actually make like the
film canisters. And we would.
Fill that entire thing. Full of.
Full of gunpowder stick the fuses.

(13:56):
We put a hole in the asphalt in the street from one of.
Those you're probably using like1/4 stick of dynamite I.
Had no idea, but we just made this thing like I was probably
1214, like making the but it's because everyone else like you
earn the 2 pennies on the end ofthe flower and wrap it up, you

(14:18):
know, smash it and it makes thisexplosion.
Why not do that on a larger scale?
You know, so we would just oh, we got this huge thing of
fireworks. Let's just empty them all out
like let's do this this. Is like the most dangerous shit,
but I mean oh and our. Parents have no idea because oh,
we it has to be really sealed inthere.
So we wrap it like crazy tight, have it, you know, and just

(14:41):
endless amounts of electrical tape and that round it.
Dude, seriously. You know, delinquent ingenuity,
man. I mean, like we used to do, we
would take a tennis ball and you'd cut it with a little, like
a little hand saw, OK? We'd make, like an incision,
maybe an inch and a half, maybe 2 inches.
Yeah. And then you'd squeeze it.
And then somebody else would pour in gasoline, and then we'd

(15:04):
soak the ball. We'd only do it at night, and
then you light it on fire and then we play, which we could
only say is Back to the Future soccer because we'd lead these
lines of fire all in the cul-de-sac, and we would just
play like soccer with him. We're kicking a ball that's on
fire, Could have lit us on fire.Yeah.

(15:25):
And then we did another one where we we got a.
Big Sounds like a buddy had access to the Anarchist Cookbook
maybe? Oh dude, we.
We made our own man like we did one time.
We were like, what would it be like if we cut off all the heads
off of Strike Anywhere matchsticks?
Oh Yep, stick him inside that. In that tennis ball and then
throw it up in the air. That is inside the Anarchist

(15:46):
Cookbook, is it? Yeah.
What is it? What?
No. But now that what would that be
considered like? I would want to put in like.
Oh, that has a name? I haven't so.
You could put in like what they put in flash bangs.
I think they use like some type of like aluminum or something
like that to make it flash bright phosphorus like amounts.
I read that book once when I was701718.

(16:10):
Remember like you had to get it like specially ordered well.
That's how so. You could probably find it.
Too And I was like Oh my God, yeah someone else had it and I
was sitting there and I'm like holy shit, this is crazy and I
just read through it like this is a crazy book but yeah that
was in there Teach you like how you can make napalm all these
other things and I'm. Like with the eagle, parts of

(16:32):
orange juice and gasoline. Like you can make napalm.
Yeah, we did that one time with the tennis ball.
It didn't go well. Yeah, see that?
But the match, one dude that wascrazy.
We threw it up and we ran and it's like super loud and there
was this old crusty woman who'd come out always wearing wife
beaters, super sickly looking and always had a cigarette in

(16:54):
her mouth with these rose tintedglasses all the time.
What the fuck is that about? This is really upset.
She came over and kicked us in the ass when we were making
flamethrowers out of four O 9 bottles.
Oh wow. Like we would fill it with gas
and then we were taking these coat hanger, the metal ones
'cause they didn't have plastic at the time.

(17:15):
And we cut it and bend it and then we wrap one end with a
cloth and soak it in gasoline. So it was out to here and it was
like on the bottle. And we go and we're like, and
there were birding ants. This woman come running over.
She was like the the Guardian. Angel with the Hairspray.
Yeah, yeah. You didn't want to do that with

(17:35):
paint can though. My friend did that.
I ever tell you about the time where this guy in my
neighborhood, they were like, they were freakishly tall.
Like these are the Nephilim of the Bible.
They were giants. What kind of car did they drive?
Was it a a bug? No, it was a minivan.
It was a Astro minivan Cooper. No, this is way before the Mini

(17:56):
Coopers came out. Or like the cool looking ones
the Mini Coopers been around. For a long time, Mini Cooper
style. Yeah, they're super cool
looking. Better than the new ones.
I hate the new. Ones they're so round enough.
Oh my God, have you seen the newChevy trucks?
They are hideous. I saw the GMC Sierra and the
Chevy Silverado newest version. Maybe it's electric?

(18:18):
It looks like a piece of shit. Yeah, No, when I think truck, I
don't think electric. I think of diesel, I think of
gasoline. Well, but they they made it
pointy and weird. Like it almost feels like it's
made by Pontiac, but old Pontiac.
And I'm like what? Or the fucking cyber truck.
Yeah, Yep. Maybe that's where they pull

(18:39):
stuff from is like Oh well the cyber truck is really popular.
No, no it is not. Maybe in Utah because it's more
of a. That's the funniest damn thing
too. Like you'll see it for like a
pest control company. I'm like, how much money are you
making to waste that? Yep, that's a shitty vehicle.
It's really big. It's really awkward looking.

(19:01):
It looks like US escape Paris basically.
Drive it because I have a cousinwho has one and he says it's
the. Yeah, it's the same thing that
Bennett has on his. He can't turn it all the way.
Oh, OK, so his and it's. Square.
Yeah, it's like a very short turning thing, but yet that
controls. It makes sense that.
Hydraulic, he said. It's some type of.

(19:24):
There's a sensor method. Yeah, yeah.
And they? Can't think of what it was, but
it was just. Well, if you think about it,
that actually looks like 1990s movies with spaceships.
Yeah, right. And even this like they don't
turn it all the way, you just turn it and the ship will move.
And maybe that's why he did it 'cause I mean he, you do know,
like all the the like some of the modes are made from.

(19:46):
Spaceballs. Like going Plaid mode, I think
it's funny. People go, Oh yeah, I go Plaid
mode. Like you ever watched
Spaceballs? Like he did that like the the
whole line of his cars spells sexy.
I mean, it's super funny dude. Like he he doesn't take it
seriously. But they're not beautiful cars.
They're not comfortable cars. They look like children built

(20:07):
them in the the design, the drawing, it was like, oh, hey,
look, what does a car look like?Well, it's kind of round and you
got wheels. What is a truck?
A square and big and like pointed corners.
Holy shit, that only makes sense, right?
Now literally is like, he went to a kindergarten classroom and
was like, hey, how would you draw a car?
And they're like, Oh my God, he's cute.

(20:29):
And he's like, oh, fuck yeah, I want you guys to build this.
And Tesla's like, are you, are you fucking kidding me?
Really. This.
This is the car? Yeah, go ahead and build that,
OK. And they're like, oh.
He was just over. There you go.
OK, children, gather around. I have a couple questions for
you. You.
Think he hangs out with his kids?
No, but he does talk to other children.

(20:52):
Oh, and about I don't want you to design A car, but you seem
brilliant. I want you to do it for
yourself. And then they draw it out and he
goes, great, hold on, let me talk to my engineers.
And then he gives it to the engineers and they're like, are
you serious? And it has to be very expensive.
OK, bye. And then they make that hideous

(21:12):
thing and he's like, can I shootit?
They're like. What into space?
Dude, the best was the glass. Like would it failed?
We've been shooting it all day and and you know, it was bound
to happen And like I don't a regular car doesn't need to be
bulletproof. Like I understand now, though,
because they're so hideous that you do want to shoot them.

(21:33):
He's like. Stay safe cousin, stay safe.
Yeah, just sitting there. They're driving past going fuck,
dude, get all the ARS out. We're going to see how fast we
can take this down. And it's supposed to be like a
beast, but I don't care. Just don't get it wet.
She didn't say that, but. Over there just spitting on the
Tesla truck and it falls apart. God damn it.

(21:57):
This is such a good fun strain dude.
No I, I am dude. It just this time of year always
reminds me of forced interactionwith people that you may not get
along with. And obligation.
Yeah. And obligation, Right.
And the way I still been thinking about it is I just look
forward to the one thing I like doing And and I really like

(22:17):
serving people. It makes me feel.
It makes me feel good, right? I mean, it's a guilty pleasure,
but I really like to see the happiness in others.
And, and what's been making it better is there are times when
you do some really great things for somebody and you just want a
little recognition. He just wanted to say thank you
or something like that. And you kind of feel cheated
when they don't say it, But I actually like it when they don't

(22:40):
because then it just goes, look,I'm not doing it for the reward.
I'm doing it because I enjoy that.
And so I've been looking less into what, what's in it for me,
even if it's on a small level, Ijust go, man, I'm, I'm just
grateful I could do that for somebody, you know, And it's,
it's why I'm really enjoying thefield I work in because I'm just

(23:01):
literally helping. They don't have to pay me
anything. I gotta get paid by another
person. Like that's great.
And, and that's, that's truly what I enjoy doing.
And so I've been thinking a lot about now I'm like, you know
what, I don't always get along with everybody or there's
certain people that I'm like, I'd rather not spend any time
with you. But now I'm like, you know what,

(23:23):
It doesn't matter who I'm going to look for the best, best
experience that not only I can get, but they can get too.
Like if I have somebody that I know I don't get along with and
they know I don't get along withand I'm just super nice to him,
really fucks with their head. But at the same time, it also
makes it easier because for you,you just are in a happy mood
through it versus if you let it get to you and faster and like

(23:46):
bother you the whole time, you're just going to be
irritated. It's going to fuck with your day
versus just going, yeah, OK, I'mgreat.
And that's where edibles come in.
Really great for this holiday season, man.
Like you get. Think she's making a smoothie?
Heard something outside. Sounds like some side.
I don't know what that is. I was like a smoothie did what

(24:10):
do you you guys like steal one of those things from the like
Jamba Juice, but you don't have the protective shield.
Those things are fucking loud without.
That yeah, they are. We have a Ninja 1.
We got one. Yeah, that one's been great.
We've loved it. We almost bought the KitchenAid
one but we just it was like 4 or500 bucks for the blender.

(24:30):
Not worth. I want to get one of those small
bullet ones. Oh yeah, yeah, those are good
too. Just for like protein shakes and
shit like that. I'd like that it's.
So weird to sound. Maybe it's a fan or a blower
like a leaf blower that's. Loud.
It is loud. I apologize if you guys can hear
this at home. I'm hoping the audio editing

(24:51):
will take that out so. I'm sure we'll now at least
it'll dull it down. But yeah, anyways, like edibles
are great for this time of year because of that reason alone.
Oh my God, I just got edibles. I'm going to have some for
Thanksgiving. And I, Emily was talking to me a
while back and she was like, howmuch would it cost you to make
yourself a tincture that every dropper full had 100 drop like

(25:14):
100 milligrams. And I was like, that's probably
going to be quite a bit of product to make that like it.
And then I started thinking about it and I'm like, well,
cost effective wise for me to use a bunch of pens and that in
a month it actually cost me morethan if I were to make this
tincture. And so I actually sat down

(25:36):
yesterday, the day before. Would you do it with with wax?
It was. It was concentrated.
Yes. Because I realized cost.
Effective. Yeah, and it at.
Least amount of time for curing.Well, that but I'm also getting
the most like concentrate is already a concentrated dose.
So for me to put that much flour.

(25:56):
Into. That small of a bottle I'd have
to run multiple processes or strip like it takes way more
time versus I was able to take several grams of concentrate.
Put it in, decarb it and mix it in with the oil, pour it into
the jar, done. Like well, after I infuse it in
the oil for a bit. But like, it really isn't a

(26:16):
super long tedious process, right?
And so I was able to do that andone dropper full, like it
doesn't get me high. It's 100 milligrams, but like,
it's perfect for taking the edgeoff that pain or maybe going to
bed or something. You know, I just started
thinking about when we're talking about edibles and you're
talking about teachers, like especially strong teachers,

(26:37):
which are not typical, like you,you mean to get a really strong
teacher, it's got to be homemadealmost in a sense to be able to
hit that, unless you're talking like what the guy out in
California we we had on the show.
RSO one? Yeah, I can't remember his name.
But he I mean, he has like super.
RSO is always potent though. Yeah, like it's usually way

(27:00):
more. Yeah, it's pretty.
A lot stronger experience, I think.
Yeah, that's why they use a grain of rice half the time.
A friend of mine, he recently got some RSO and he showed me he
got it from here, out here in Utah.
Was it boom boom? Boom boom.
And he's like, hey, you want to try some of that?
And I'm like, you should be careful with that.

(27:21):
Did you try any of? It No, I didn't.
It was during daytime and I was like, yeah, I don't need, I need
more. And he's like.
What was his thoughts? It kicked in about halfway on
his ride home and he's like, holy shit.
And I'm like, yeah, be respectful.
Oh, we have an audience member who lives here in Utah who

(27:41):
actually said next time they were going to the pharmacy,
they're going to snag us some RSO that we want us to try on
the show. Yeah, now it's super excited.
Pretty quick acting for him, he said.
In 30 minutes he was feeling it and as much as we could pre
prep, like we could have it before the show starts, hang out

(28:02):
and then we can talk about like the stages of how we felt it and
what we ate with it or what we took with it.
Right, 'cause that's another thing.
Like what's great is the one that he got is, has olive oil in
it. And I'm like, oh, that makes
sense. And he goes, I mean, the taste
isn't gonna be great. And I said you're not gonna
taste it for the flavor. I mean, unless it's like like

(28:23):
really high end olive oil. It that actually has like a
peppery it's it's really. Good, really good flavors.
Yeah, it's really good flavors, but at the same time it's like,
yeah, I get it because it's fats.
Holy shit. Yeah, I think it's a blower.
Is that guy like right by the door?
No idea, could be the neighbor probably blowing leaves because

(28:44):
of this time of year. That guy blows.
Damn, what a blower. What a blower.
But but he no, no, dude, I, I am, I'm thinking about it and
I'm like, well, what if we have? What if we're thinking of doing
a, a friendsgiving? Maybe we don't have a lot of
friends or a lot of family. Maybe we're living within
another barrier but we want to have a cannabis holiday season.

(29:09):
I would suggest this. Like you could do some can of
butter and not make it with the Turkey, but infuse the butter
and then baste it after it's out.
Oh, that could be tasty. When that and then you would be
able to get it where you could turn it into a gravy.
So you're getting the Turkey? Also there's these infused

(29:30):
seasonings from a company calledthe Flavour Plug.
What? Yeah, we have to do a cooking
episode again where we get the kitchen.
But these are. You can go to Flavour Plug.
I'll find this link and put it in the show notes, but these
might be great. For that, oh, these QR codes
tell you everything. Give you more info on that.
But butter's perfect for it because especially this time

(29:51):
Friendsgiving, I actually did a Friendsgiving like that and I
infused butter and that butter Iput because I knew exact dosing
per like teaspoon. And then I was able to put that
into the potatoes. Each person's potatoes had their
individual dose, stirred that inas it melted and then you know,
gravy or whatever. But it was a much easier way to
individually dose as long as youknow you're starting dosing

(30:15):
product or not. But it's perfect for
Friendsgiving. Do you know the dosing per these
ones? Are dumb.
I wonder if the QR might, but I just figured we need to sit
down, but it's we need to set time and do that and.
I'm already thinking about it 'cause like we should set it up
over my place and we'll get a bunch of lighting too, and make
sure it gets really good and I've got some ideas and angles.

(30:37):
But there's a way that I cook chicken with these smaller
ovens, which actually it's awesome 'cause now the way I do
it is I get this tiny little baking dish and I can cook
enough chicken for my entire family and even leftover.
I can. Are you talking about like a
loaf of bread kind of dish? No, just a little bit bigger

(30:57):
about that big. Like a 9 by 9.
Yeah, 9 by 9 glass dish. Pyrex dish.
And normally, you know, when youcook, like in an oven, your
standard oven, you're doing it in a big fucking tray.
Should we pause? I don't.
Know I have no idea. I also have no idea how long
they're going to go for. Yeah.

(31:18):
So it sounds. Like a jet engine.
Yeah, on ours it does for sure, but it also might not sound once
the noise cancelling and that so.
Yeah, it's true. OK.
I'm just making sure I. Know it's weird.
But where was I? Cooking and baking sheets.
Yeah. So what I do is I'll have like
the chicken out and then I'll I'll season the chicken.

(31:39):
Yeah. But then I'll I'll sear it on
the stove. I'm at a I'm at a medium heat
and I let it cook up to the point where the the chicken
freeze itself. Yeah, 'cause then you get your
Browning and that's where you get your flavor.
Then you put it over there, thenyou quickly just kind of sear it
on the other side, and then you put in the baking dish and you
could just stack it on top of each other 400°.

(32:02):
And then for 30 minutes, I throwit in there, close it, I just
leave it. I come back.
The chicken is just as tender and juicy as if you got it at a
restaurant every single time. And I'm just thinking, man,
wouldn't that be great to createlike some chicken, like a really
healthy meal and then eat it andthen do a, a follow up recording

(32:27):
saying this is that we use the entire packet.
It had this, I had this amount of, of that one.
And we take half of it and we make some type of dressing or
drizzle seasoning or something like that, a sauce and giving
both 'cause that's where I thinka lot of people could mess up,
is that you just cook it with itand then you eat.
No see usually mine always goes in at the end.

(32:50):
Yeah, unless it has to be cookedwith it the whole time.
Right 'cause it's not activated.Often times I like to make like
I've done a infused bruschetta before where the sauce was all
infused cause of olive oil. The base was infused so that was
fantastic. But I also paired that with
infused pasta sauce and in edible brownies.
So but that was very dose specific to each person because

(33:14):
it was hey, I don't want anyone getting crazy high past their
like where they need to be. But then that was the time that
I think Alicia just ate two or three brownies because they were
super tasty and they were there. And then she ended up just being
really high in the corner chilling on the couch.
It was great. She had a lovely time, but just
probably way higher than she anticipated.

(33:36):
Yeah, so so doing some infused dinners, infused Thanksgiving,
Yeah of. Course family if your family's
into that. Dude, I could, I could see doing
a really good like pump. I mean, I know you're not a
pumpkin guy, but pumpkin pies, an infused pumpkin pie, you
could do infused apples. So I could do this like you know
how the apple feeling for an apple pie.

(33:59):
Like you can buy the canned shit, which is fine.
That's not bad. But you could also do kind of
like a Roux with an infused butter and then add the apples
and the brown sugar into it, which will make it a kind of a
creamy texture. You know what you should
actually infuse? What's your whipped cream?
Make homemade whipped cream and infuse that because you're going

(34:20):
to have that flavor in it anywayin your other.
And if it pairs with the other and you infuse it nicely because
you can do it into a sugar. And if you do that and like
there's many ways to do it, thatyou would have way less flavor
of cannabis. It takes can of sugar steps and
then put it in a in a food processor and turn it to

(34:40):
powdered sugar, which would be easier to make the whipped cream
and you would have less flake. All right, there we go.
So you infuse the sugar 1st and then you blend it of course into
your powdered sugar and then youturn that into.
But before that, like if you process it or like filter it
down pretty well, whether it's like your alcohol distillation

(35:01):
through Everclear and stuff and then you let that.
That would be really cool to do,like little teeny desserts with
a lot of whipped cream. Yeah.
But you could even add like in the apple, you could add a tart
crisp apple flavor into the whipped cream into that too,
because you could even soak yoursugar in like apple juice or

(35:22):
something to get that flavor in the sugar that might change or
overpower the cannabis flavor that you might get or complement
the notes of cannabis with. In that to like do like vanilla
infusing like a vanilla into thesugar like you you could do
vanilla extract but the only thing is it's not a high
percentage of alcohol. Yeah, no, I I would do Everclear

(35:46):
to strip it to. Get the THC.
But then you could soak your sugar in that after.
And then just let it dry. Yeah, let it dry over, you know,
several days a week or you don'thave time to do it for this
Friendsgiving, but. No, you could do it in
dehydrate. Or you could do it.
Oh, that's true. Or very low temperature in your
oven. Just let it kind of Bake Off.
Anything like that would really be able to.

(36:07):
I think that's just getting. Back to it.
'Cause like with friends giving,I mean, and you know, I think
the last one is, is, is if you are so inclined, like I would
say like you got a friend who's got a volcano, bring it over,
right? You know, have your regular
dinner, but kind of have that sesh or go get yourself a bomb.
You can get votes for both of those.

(36:27):
Cycloud and the Magloud. I actually like the Magloud more
just because of the discreteness.
Oh, the size. But the magic bean.
Is the base any different size though?
Or is the base the same? Oh, the base is the same, yeah.
So it's. Really like that glass.
The glass is. Really.
You just had busted your tiny glass that came with.

(36:49):
But I like this one too, and I like that they have a bunch of
other ones too. So you guys can use the code
down below on anything that theyhave in their shop.
But definitely get this and thenyou know, if you need to get a
cool looking glass, cool, but the best bangers, the best.
I love how they work, they're easy to clean.
Super. I mean, I love.
The air flow style I'm. Not going to try.
I need to clean mine. Look at this look.

(37:11):
Oh, super gunky. Yeah, there we go.
Tis the season. But dude this is cool like it's
so easy to clean. Like it easy and this is easy to
clean. I love it.
Just drop it in ISO even though there we go.
Weird barely tapped it. I think it's just the angle for
so long being like that. Just maybe later on we'll get

(37:33):
some new chords. But dude, it's, it's so good,
man. I, I'm just thinking about like,
I think having something like that or if you have access to
the edibles, if you can do infused edibles, great.
If you're like really basic and you're like, I don't know how to
do all that fancy stuff and you're kind of gross, throw in
the flour, I guess. I've seen people do straight

(37:55):
flour and then just sift it out,use a strainer, like a really
fine mesh strainer and, you know, pour it like that.
That's simple, easy basic way and.
You can do that. I mean, I think can of butter is
by far the best bet if you're going to bake something and you
have a certain amount that you want to do, like be very, very
mindful of it and then infuse that butter with the certain

(38:17):
amount that you need for the recipe.
I've actually done. Concentrates would be cool for
that. Yeah, some of those I've
actually done like the half coconut oil, half butter.
So I use because coconut oil adheres the most like NZT oil,
constantly runny. I don't want to use that in my
baking, but if I use a coconut oil that would adhere more to

(38:37):
the THC molecule than like any other fat.
Basically that I use for baking. So lipid soluble.
Half it, so I'll have butter andhalf my coconut oil and just do
it that way and then kind of infuse that together.
That's delicious too, 'cause I mean, the coconut smell is so
divine. And for baking, it actually adds
just a like a little pleasant. Softer.

(38:59):
Flavor. Yeah, that's not too.
Bad. Oh, dude, I do that like, you
know, crusties, the the mixes and stuff for muffins.
They like their chocolate muffins.
Like my family loves those and Ilike to make it for them.
And I'd use only coconut oil in there.
But I think like, dude, if I hada group of friends and I didn't
have like a ton, like I would like to make some infused stuff

(39:22):
that I can actually indulge in. Like I could eat more than one.
You just have to do it super lowdose.
Yeah, and you eat the whole, youmean?
Well, that's. Like when I made edibles for
anyone because I'm like, oh, I can have a hundred of these.
Or you could do like Zeppolis. You ever had Zeppolis?
What's that? So it's an Italian type of
doughnut. They're small in circles and

(39:43):
they cover it with sugar and then they have like a chocolate
sauce on the side that you coulddip it in.
Oh, maybe I did. But I would rather make them
like a little bit bigger and then just make the chocolate
whipped cream pretty much infused and then just fill it up
like, and regardless, I mean, and that would be for more of
like I, you're not worried aboutthe dosing because the

(40:04):
individuals, they're cannabis consumers.
So they'll be like, hey, it's probably anywhere between this
milligram, just saying. And if you need more chocolates
in the fridge, you know, and that would be a cool like get
together with people like a brunch, that would be kind of
cool, like infusing your eggs. You infuse your eggs quite

(40:26):
often. You enjoy that?
Oh, I do occasionally. It's been probably a couple
months, but I was doing that forquite a bit.
But it just it changes the flavor so much.
And so having this tincture I think is a much better option.
Also when I'm infusing my eggs I'm not using 100 milligrams
worth because Jesus Christ that would taste like shit you.

(40:46):
Know just like these eggs are delicious.
Tastes like a straight flour. You think about other things,
right? I mean, you know, where can of
butter doesn't always make senseon a on a usage scale, But then
if you think about it like maybeyou are like you can think about
anything. I can turn my breakfast

(41:07):
fantasies of of pancakes and French toast.
It's infused butter. Great.
Anything or olive oil. You can truly infuse anything.
Any twerk? Yeah, Any twerk.
Any twerk can be infused. Yeah, pretty much so.
Yeah, it's a, it's a great thingto think about.
But on top of it, man, just I'vebeen thinking a lot about it and

(41:29):
I'm just grateful, you know, forour friendship.
I'm grateful for this, this flower and I'm, I'm grateful for
happy people who are just looking for ways to be able to
connect and not like part ways. And that's why cannabis is so
awesome. There's so many of our, our, our
long time fans and listeners whoare completely different from

(41:51):
us. But I'll tell you what, we could
sit down and talk with any of them and have a great time
because this is the great equalizer, man.
So happy Thanksgiving, guys, happy Thanksgiving.
Make sure to go down. Indigenous People Day.
Yeah, happy. Happy whatever it is you
celebrate outside of the US because I know there's we're
listening to in 172 countries. So whatever the hell this

(42:14):
Thursday is to you, have a greatone.
Happy, yeah. Happy colostomy day.
Happy colostomy. Oh, colostomy bag.
Colostomy bag. Well, if that's your Thursday,
I'm sorry. I hope you're smoking all of the
green till. They are so.
But yeah, guys go down to the all the codes for everything.
