(00:00):
Welcome to Cannabis School. I'm your host, Jesse Angeles.
And I'm Brandon Elder. And we're here to talk to you
about everything pertaining to cannabis from.
Vape flour. Edibles.
Strains. And everything in between.
Hey guys, welcome back. We've got 50 switch on the back,
sorry, switch on the back and then you just up and down on the
(00:22):
temp. I like the dark blue where I
start it because that's the lowest temp and then just press
it and once he's green he's good.
So today we are trying a tried true and favorite string that
was more in the early stages of the show.
Yeah, and Super Lemon Haze is been one of our favorites.
(00:44):
We had SO and Reep. What was her name again?
Charity, charity, charity. That's one of her favorite
'cause she actually has that tattooed on her.
Own Is it charity? Oh my gosh, it's been so many
years. I.
It was crazy. Go back and listen to that one.
But she is like all about that strain.
Oh, you should've. Heard that one.
Yeah. Oh damn, it's hot.
So we have two different types of Super Lemon Haze today.
(01:07):
So Brandon will be smoking on Super Lemon Haze.
It's a live resin. It's a.
Diamonds and sauce. Diamonds and sauce.
From Moxie, and actually both ofour Super Lemon Haze strains
that we're trying today are fromMoxie.
So Jessie's got the live resin batter Super Lemon Haze version
in the Bomb mag Loud, which I hate to say I've used that
(01:29):
device more than I've used this in the last month and if you
need a code it saves like 20% gocheck it out below definitely
worth it. It's and that one the best that
dabrig without our 20% coupon isalready under $200.
That one is hands down incredible piece.
This without any code is still 400 dollars, 450 maybe it's a
(01:53):
good price and. Identical taste.
Identical taste take. That I can imagine because it
smelled like basically the same.Your terps are peppery in that
one though. Oh, it's way higher temp.
This is 485. That one's around 400 right now.
So it's a way different probablyterp flavor and experience that
we got. Yeah, but that one tastes so
good. And one of the things about
(02:16):
Super Lemon Haze in any form, itis a very caffeinated strain.
I was just telling Brandon I wasat the office and while I was
there, I'd had some during my mylunch break.
It's kind of just kind of, it's a good way to keep my brain
active, focused and really engaged.
I'd really like this, you know, being in the white collar world
now. Wow.
(02:37):
Yeah, way stronger terps. That's great.
Yeah, dude. I mean, I have to say this, man,
the clouds, the collage, you getoff that one well.
It's also 85° higher. If we turn that one up, it
produces a lot better clouds. Also, it's not even heating
anymore. No, no, no, I know.
But I just like when you comparesize, comfort, versatility, it's
(03:01):
OK. I it's OK.
It's a good device. I don't like the bowl.
The bowl is too. It's got rubber everywhere.
I accidentally got some on the side.
That one. I mean dude, this one you want
to talk about? Easy to clean this thing, just
screw off, drop, wipe out. Did you notice how much residue
actually doesn't form? I'm impressed.
(03:22):
I've been super impressed. It's pretty good for it.
Is a dope like do well that's. Actually, I I take that back,
it's not pretty good. That is probably the best rig
that I think I've found under $300.
The the only thing I was thinking about, and it was a
thought I had the other day, I wasn't even dabbing.
I was just wandering around out in the mountains and I was
(03:43):
thinking about it and I realizedthis has the ceramic ball.
It doesn't have an atomizer. This will probably never burn
out that one. It does get kind of dark and
burnt in the atomizer sometimes. It long term you might have to
replace an atomizer and I still think there may be 50-60 bucks
(04:04):
for the atomizer now. Use our code below 'cause you
can still save on that as well. But it was the thought of like,
OK, maybe over the lifetime of 1020 years that device might
also end up costing closer to this one if you end up replacing
an atomizer every year or something.
It depends on what the life of the atomizer ends up being.
(04:26):
But so far, that has been this incredible piece.
Yeah, dude, if we're going to compare both of these, this is a
Ferrari 458 Italia. That one's a Aston Martin.
Yeah, that's an Aston Martin. It's it's nice.
It looks very good. It's heavy.
Heavy, slow. Yeah, my brother had one and it
was terrible. And he was like, Oh yeah, I
(04:47):
thought it would be a cool idea. And then that was a mistake.
That's awful car and it's kind of the same way.
But I mean, on this side, you know, you're never going to go
wrong with it. Now to come back to our strains.
I'm feeling very happy, very happy.
I would say I feel so I it's been a long weekend.
One of my close friends got married and so I feel like there
(05:11):
was a lot of just the weekend shenanigans of really late
nights, drinking more than I would like to and just way less
sleep than I enjoy. Wow.
And this strain is just very energetic.
Like it's kind of illuminated the room more.
I feel more alert and more awakethan I have so far this morning.
(05:33):
And I've already had a cup of coffee, but I feel like this
illuminated more and like woke me up more almost than that cup
of coffee that I had a couple hours.
You know the thing too with it is that you don't feel super
elevated on this. It's not euphoric by any means.
I don't feel displaced or high no.
(05:54):
I feel a little bit of pressure in the side yes, just literally
right here. It doesn't encompass almost
anywhere else in my face. My.
Head. Yep, just here.
Kind of almost like 1/2 headband.
Yeah, just on my temples, like I'm an old person and this is
all that I have hair in is righthere, you know, that's how it
feels like. Oh dude, I mean that.
But that's one of the cool feelings that I really enjoy is
(06:17):
those super isolated strains that when it just hits you in
the same spot every single time. Now this one, like I was saying,
this is great for thinking work, getting stuff done.
I mean, so we had two different grams of it and I have barely
scraped into mine and Jesse's isalmost gone.
Has that been a good work? Folk like your go.
(06:39):
To yes, for me it has been huge, especially where my job, like
right now what I'm doing is tonsof learning.
I'm going through so much education and it's not just
'cause I'm new, it's because this is just how this company
works. Well, and it's all also new
information like there's just so.
(06:59):
Much which is awesome, like I'm in a in a a time of my life
where I find that learning is soawesome.
Anything. So out of the strains that you
have, is Super Lemon Haze the best for retention that you
found so far out of what you have right now since you're
learning a lot, or is there a better one that you've found
lately that has been good? No, this one has been by far the
(07:20):
best. The second is cougar piss.
I mean cheetah piss. Cheetah piss has been fantastic
for that. But here's the problem.
If and I really like cheetah piss.
Oh, I do too. It's in my mouth.
Speaking of that. Oh yeah, piss.
Synthetics 5 If you need to passyour drug test, check out
Synthetics 5. They are like the top
(07:42):
manufacturer of that will actually help you pass your drug
test. What's really great in there is
that how it sells? Did you see that?
Like what it goes underneath? Oh yeah.
Intended for lawful use only. Novelty or fetish?
Synthetic. Yeah.
Fetish do not take internally. So in case you really want to
get kinky and. That's not a do.
(08:04):
You feel like peeing on your partner.
There's also Synthetics 5 so youcould use it to pass your drug
test. Really cool thing about this is
that it's got a heating pouch that goes into the back and that
one's great. Like say you know you're got a
job and should they be piss testing you for this?
I know a lot of companies haven't been anymore, but still
(08:25):
there are those out there. And you know what, just for
being able to enjoy this plant that you're not, I mean, even if
you are smoking it at work, well, you know what, we're not
going to get into that. But the part we are going to get
into is that this thing could fit into your jacket pocket real
easy. Like it warms up, got to be 90
to 100° and then it works. But say you're in one of those
(08:45):
crazy positions where you actually have to kind of like a
person in the room with you. So even worse, I heard another
one. The military though, actually
looked at your Dick. I met someone, she's in
accounting for the government. Oh yeah, yeah.
And when they do it, you're in aroom that has cameras.
(09:06):
There's one on the front and oneon the back, cameras watching
you're drunk and there. So they watch you as you take
your drug test and record it. And I'm like, I actually
mentioned that to them and I waslike, oh, there's actually this
one and it has this tube and maybe you could hold it under
your penis. Like some cameras didn't see it.
But like that is such AI I've never heard of like.
(09:32):
Yeah, there's like, no, no, no. I mean, there are some jobs that
you definitely can't, but this delicious bag scrubs.
Yeah, I could taste the saltiness right now.
Jesse uses this for more than passing drug tests.
But this little plug thing, you go right and it's got the little
temperature gauges like it has on that other one and there's
(09:53):
actually like a belt. Yeah, that straps and attaches
around your. Waist.
And so it can be underneath yourpants, inside your pants.
For women, that's even easier. Could you imagine that?
Yeah, that's so much easier. Yeah.
So I don't know, I I think it's ridiculous that you could even
lose your job for enjoying this amazing plant.
(10:14):
But we will have a code below 4 Synthetics 5.
Go check it out if you need to pass your drug test or just have
some really kinky fetishes as the Great Prophet Roof says.
Don't yuck someone jobs. But back to the strain, I would
say honestly, like you said, it's quite a happy strain.
Like I feel this is brought my mood up.
Like brought my. I now Cheetah piss is great.
(10:37):
It's not as caffeinated as this and that's why I prefer Super
Lemon Haze from Moxie from most sativas that I've had in
concentrate. The reason why is that it kind
of lets me know where I'm at. It's almost like filling the
fuel gauge on your car. And right now I'm pretty good.
Like when we meet with Bijan, ifit's something that's like
(10:58):
lower, you know, I'm going to befine.
It's going to level it out. But I have to do that sometimes.
Like I'll take this at work and I have partaking again in
coffee. Not tons anymore, but it is very
good. I I just want to let you know
that this is like a proud dad. Moment well, the old thing
(11:21):
before I mean, if you burn out your you know, stay away from
energy drinks. Just stay away from energy
drinks, energy drinks, supplements, any of that stuff
that will really mess you up. And it did for me really bad.
It spawned anxiety that has lasted years.
But I'll tell you man, with super lemon haze and a
caffeine's back, I man, I'm way productive.
(11:43):
Like for those with ADHDI would say like this is a great one
because can you feel that right now?
In caffeine, like that's how I would use used to do my mornings
when I would go in, I would usedto have my pen that the tops
would come off. So I'd go in, have my cup of
coffee and I would untwist my pen, take a little toothpick and
(12:05):
put it in my coffee and stir it around, drink my coffee.
And that turned into my, I don'tknow, 7 till 10:30 whenever I
went on break and then would go puff.
But like that edible light dose of it was fantastic mixed with
the coffee. Oh, it's like such a perfect,
like it helps hone in your mind and everything else, like if you
(12:28):
can actually focus and get shit done.
Dude, at work, I take my Airpodsand I put in, I drop them in my
ears and put on noise cancellingand I don't even listen to
music. I just do that.
And I made this sign that goes above my desk.
Yeah, this is Do Not Disturb. Help me make calls and close
(12:49):
business. Thank you.
Yeah. Now leave.
And I put it above my desk. I was, I was listening to this
book called Fanatical, FanaticalProspecting with Jeb Blunt.
And, and I know Blunt is blunt, but you could call it Blunt.
We're going to go Blunt this show.
James Blunt. James Blunt.
How's it going, man? Always good, my friend.
Always. You would have to be with a name
(13:11):
like that. Dude.
But it's James Bond. He talked about like, you know,
you need to protect your time. And, you know, a lot of our last
episode that we got into, like, it was deep for me.
And a lot of it came from, like,Danny, my friend Danny, because
he had said that in his journal that, you know, I got all the
(13:31):
time in the world. And he died laying.
He died between his bed and the wall.
And nobody knows how long he'd been there suffering, right?
But he died and he lived life asif there was no time insight.
But his dad did the same. But when his dad died, he knew
(13:54):
he was dying. And he's like, I wish I had more
time. And so it was just like that
whole thing kind of kicked it in, but.
Especially early, like if you pass early, it's always like, I
wish I had more time. Like when grandpa passed.
I'm watching that. That was a whole different type.
But like so many of those older people, it's like my grandma's
(14:15):
been saying she wants to die forthe last 10 years.
You know, my grandpa's been goneand she's been ready to go since
then. It's been 10 years.
It's been over 10 years for grandpa.
My dad's. Yeah.
Yeah. So I'm just it's, I think it
depends. And we all kind of look at time
differently and and especially moments, but it's the, you know,
you don't this. This helps you, I mean, and not
(14:37):
to go too emotional on that sexist strand, but the the
strain, what it does is it helpsme to go, all right, let's get
stuff done. Let's be timely.
But I feel chill but focused butyet energized simultaneously.
Like this is a unique fantastic.Love the strain.
(14:57):
Yeah, can. Make you a little anxious.
The THC is a little bit higher on that.
Side but if you stir it real well with the sauce at the
beginning and break it up I noticed yours had a good amount
of the diamond bee kind of thingand it still oh you like it
better that way because. It kicks in.
(15:18):
Faster at the end. I had whatever one it was we did
last time. I had like, actually broken it
up real good at the end on the last bit, and it was almost like
a butter. And I was really surprised.
Yeah, I was. I was just, like, working it and
working it and like an Amish person churning butter.
Yeah. So, you know, it was just, I
(15:39):
don't know, good stuff. Super.
Like right now, the mood is justlike.
Pleasant. Yeah, you got to got.
To smoke. That Yeah, I'm like, I turned
that one up and tried that one again.
And now I'm going to go, oh, does he does he need a little
more? He might need a little more.
Oh, I think I accidentally twisted it.
If you twist it and do it, it flash.
(16:00):
Yeah. There you go.
It flashes red because it's like, wait a second.
I'd love that, Gabriek. You.
I want a glass on. Top I got the long one.
Yeah, because I broke. The small one on accident.
Yeah, it's probably about this tall, isn't it?
The glass one that you have? The other glass, The smaller
one? No, the tall glass you have.
Oh no, dude. It's as tall as.
(16:20):
This what? Yeah, that's crazy.
And. Actually, it's a little.
Taller that's crazy. I didn't think it was that tall.
It's cool. Yeah.
I just, I just some of their other ones.
They. Have this like bat 1.
Well, they have new ones 'cause they're going for the waterless
ones like the dry effect, which is what we go for this like this
(16:42):
one. I it's a love hate relationship.
Like I actually washed it out and cleaned it this morning, but
you can see still have water in the bottom and I can't seem to
figure out which way to tilt it to get that water out.
And I spent granted it was in this morning of not coffee yet
still waking up and cleaning it and figuring out, oh shit,
(17:05):
that's not rubbing alcohol, that's acetone and that doesn't
do the same shit. So would you say with?
That text this morning, I just started laughing.
Shit happens. I know, I just I know you guys
all have to check out George Jets.
And on the next episode we use it because Oh my gosh, do not
(17:26):
use anything but rubbing alcoholin a jet filtrations device
because you get this nasty lookslike Brandon came in your device
look. And I mean, yeah, it's an
aesthetic and you might have to pay extra for that, but like
it's not the vibe more. Yeah, no.
It's super happy. As the strain kicks in a little
(17:49):
bit more, you're going to be feeling a little bit more
relaxation, but it's. Yeah, 'cause it's.
Still a very focused strain, smoking a lot of it you will be
for. It I feel like settling down
into my cheeks a little more andyour eyes are like.
Gently. Glazed.
Yeah. Soft.
Almost. Cool.
Like a menthol that's. Kind of crazy, like there's a a
(18:11):
slight weight to my eyelids. Not a heavy one, just light.
Yeah. And it's, it is by far like what
what the Moxie products, the concentrates have really blown
me. Away those flavors they're.
Flavors, I mean, it's, it's really just an interesting,
they're just, they're great products.
(18:32):
They really are clean. Yeah, I've been really
impressed, honestly. There were.
Some of the other ones that we had here locally that kind of
make you question it and I know it's from the hash, but still
it's like. Well, I've noticed though, a lot
of them change that way. A lot of the Utah ones in
general, and I will get ones from Colorado or California and
(18:56):
it doesn't have that. And I'm very curious what we're
doing differently than our products are going black at the
same temperature that my other concentrates are staying there,
golden amber within the device. Yeah, and on the sides.
Of this pole that'll get. Done, but not with all of them.
That's why I'm saying when I usethe like the pandemic pie or
(19:16):
cheetah piss, it's less likely. They're more likely to stay that
ambery golden E color. They'll still darken some, but I
noticed it's not as bad as the Utah concentrates and I've been
very curious about that. Yeah.
But then I'm wondering why all of our grows are having that
versus like a California or Colorado grow is staying golden
(19:38):
amber. Well, I feel like Colorado's
very similar elevations in some of the ones.
So California's much, much lower.
But I would wonder if it who, hey, oh, hey, if you're tuning
in, listening to this episode, always listening.
(20:00):
Bro, it's true what happens there man.
Education, we need to have them on.
We just need to have them on andexplain.
Who works on? All parts of.
That process or if someone else knows as well, drop it in the
comments if you know why. Like, because I've noticed even
at 400°, which when we met with the whole team up at Beehive,
they were like, oh, yeah, no, we're at like, I dab at 480I dab
(20:22):
at like 550. And when I'm starting at 400 and
I'm getting it really black already on a couple of rounds.
It's very surprising. It just, it makes me wonder.
Yeah, I feel like 550 would be so high.
But I think that was Bijan who dabs at 5:50 and we'll be having
him on soon. So stay tuned.
He is. Well, you'll find out in that
(20:44):
episode. Well you know what?
This has been an awesome strand.I would pick this up ADHD.
It's good business studying. For tests, Yeah.
You know, you know, you Utah students over there, guess what?
I know you've been in pain at least for two weeks.
Go get your medical card and go pick yourself up one of these.
Then go pick up right Bob's Bob Magloud is so the Jesse says
(21:10):
it's slightly smaller than his, so we'll have to have a time
where he actually brings his bottom side cloud and we'll do
the side by side. OK, so the only difference here
is Jesse's has that really sweetfidget spinner style.
And this has the like playing a joystick one, which I like too.
It's yeah, it either one is actually not that bad, I think.
(21:31):
It's really cool too because youcan get a bunch of different
ones if your friends have them. I know this sounds lame.
But switch out tips. Yeah, just.
Like borrowing tips like. Dude, it's.
Like poke and they're just like a bunch of different.
Colors. Yeah, like.
The ones. I have are yellow, which would
be Oh yeah, but yeah, it's they're just oh that thing came
out all the way. That's cool.
I guess it's just magnetized down in so that.
Makes. Better sense that's easier to
(21:54):
move around. Well, I've been at the end.
I've been lifting this up to clear it.
I don't have to do it. Oh, that pulled the whole thing
out so well. Maybe.
But if it would do that and justpull out, I could clear it real
easy because that's what I want is a really solid airflow to end
it and just send it all down. But that's fantastic.
(22:14):
I wonder if the spinner pops outlike that.
Yes. It does.
You have to pull it. Out I mean that's got a little
because it's magnetized, but yours might you mean like it's
stuck stuck in. Oh, no, no, you have it.
Oh yeah, dude, it's supposed to do that.
Mine. No, there's like it's like a
gasket that it spins on. You can't do that, but it gets.
(22:35):
I like that the airflow on yoursis insane, I think just because
it's like. Well, dude, it's when you hit
that little fidget spinner, it actually forces the you'll see
the glass fill up. And so when it's those like the
dinky ones, that's when it just goes super cool.
All right, guys, go check out Super Lemon Haze.
Get your fake pee. And if you need a new rig or are
(22:58):
looking at concentrates, honestly I would hate to tell
you to go anywhere aside from one of these.
Yeah, they've been awesome. If you're starting just getting
into it, it's under 200 bucks. Like it's hard to beat you.
Can't beat that. You really can't.
Especially for concentrates likeand the full temperature
(23:18):
control, this goes from 200°F upto 700 and that's a massive temp
range. Like I'm sure the Puff Co and
you know, Doctor Dabber, it gives you a lot of temperature,
wow, temperature control. But I don't like using the app
because I have an iPhone and they don't play nicely.
But same with stores and pickle.Any cannabis based app Apple
(23:41):
doesn't play nicely with. So you have to use like a web
browser based version put it. On the front, just let me decide
the temperature instead of getting all cool and shit, just
make it basic. And I don't mind this one.
I just wish that the temperaturecontrol settings would adjust
more than the, like, preset fouror five.
You would have to use the app, as far as I know, on this one to
(24:05):
get the full temperature range control.
Yeah. And unfortunately, yeah.
So I don't know. Love you guys.
Peace.
