In this episode, Cate and Erik sit down to talk about ADHD and changes to routine but in all honesty it kind of turns into a weird conversation about how bad Cate is at going to the gym and why. We discuss the challenges of neurodivergency in the very public arena of gym-going and how a single task can suddenly become a stack of 50 with little warning.

(00:10):
That was a lot of anticipation is really good.
Feel it the anticipate Xiang your car's your question.
Yes. Why are we fighting or assumed?
It was that one podcast you wantto ask me to question?
Yes. I really tells you to question.
Okay? May I, yes, why are we filming
this podcast? Because I don't know it's it's
gonna put it on. YouTube, I don't know.

(00:31):
Well, I mean, I would, if I wantto like, take some ravioli, just
not the fucking I know I feel like I just see podcast Clips
all over Tick-Tock and I'm like wait a minute Tick.
Tock is like where we actually have like an audience.
Well we should you have it on it.
Even audience aren't any more worried.
Oh are you joking? I don't know bro but not joking

(00:52):
Tick-Tock showed like a thousandpeople right video today.
Hey, you know, I just I don't have an answer.
Like, what do I have to do at this point?
I don't know, crafting challenges.
I don't know if this is will still go.
I mean, I reposed a crafting challenge because it's December.
So it's like these are my favorite videos from the year.
Yeah. And it first got three and a
half million and now it's doing fine, but it's not there now

(01:13):
million. So I'm like, wondering how much
has changed in either? Take socks, algorithms or
peoples? peoples and people's preferences
and shit like, um, There she goes.
Okay, this good dog. Breeder you ran a mile today,

(01:35):
Irina. Fuck?
I was oh, hi everybody. It's me.
Mickey. D's orestes, I always be a good
one to Infinity. Did I fucking ran a goddamn
fucking my other day and I'm so mad about it.
That's a saint not emotionally prepared.
Why do you run my prepared to run?
A mile? And I was not wearing socks, my
feet, my feet are sweaty. I feel like I would rather run a

(01:57):
mile with no socks and no shoes,no socks and Is this like moment
where I was like, could I like, would it be weird?
And I was like a probably be weird, but I thought about it
but then I didn't I check it out.
Yeah. What are you gonna do fine.
So first off so you went in for like an evaluation at like a
place that the doctor told you to go to.
Yeah, you know I thought it was just like a it was a whole

(02:21):
Shack. I was not like It was, it was
better than I thought I was going to because I think like my
ADHD just like took over and I was like novelty, you know.
Yeah. And so but then I became the
most entertaining person in the room which was, it's a defense
mechanism but it was really uncomfortable and weird.
But yeah, so I got sent in for an evaluation /, some like

(02:44):
Physical Therapy sort of situation that is happening now.
And I'm like Feeling okay about it, I guess.
Like I'm happy that my doctor was like, well, if we do it this
way, then you'll have like appointment and then you have to
show up and I was like, I like this.
This is I like this, my doctor is accountability
accountability, but like I also really enjoy that made our he

(03:05):
like heard that like my doctor like talk to me about like well
what is your struggle like? What do you what do you
struggling with? And I was like sounds fucking
sweet. She's very sweet.
And so that was cool. But then, yeah.
So that I went and they did likethe whole thing where they like
way you and they like, measure you and stuff and that was
upsetting and then Then they were like, and here's some

(03:32):
stuff. And then they're like, surprised
run a mile, and I was like, oh no.
And then I do a push-up and I was like, I can't do a bunch of,
like a very sorry. I tried my best.
They're like, can you do pull upand I laughed and then, yeah, it
was like a whole thing is like, the whole and I got like a tour,
they like, made me do a bunch ofexercises, it was terrible to
you, they didn't make it, they made you run a fucking my like

(03:55):
gym class, like, as a gym class flashbacks.
Like, I was like, no, no, no, I wouldn't they didn't tell you
like yeah show up this time and get be ready to like do a bunch
of physical stuff I was thinkingabout that but I feel like maybe
what it was this is not excusingthem but I feel like it it was a
neurodivergent thing for me to not understand like I really do

(04:17):
because it was like oh they're like come in for your like
introduction and I heard that and I thought paperwork and like
maybe a tour but they were like no we're going to do like you're
like testing or in a figure out like All year, like range of
motions and all of this stuff. And so then I started and you
gonna they did they bend me? They bet me a whole bunch.
They really they did. Um, it was really interesting.

(04:40):
Um but then yeah. So it was just like I was like
okay but then I had this moment where I was like, man.
Now I know why it's so hard for me to like Make new habits as I
ADHD person. Because the lady was like,
asking me. She was like, so like what kind
of exercise do you like to do? I was like none of them and then

(05:01):
she's like, well, what kind of cardio do you like to do?
And then I laughed. And then she's like, so what
like, you know, and I was like, trying to explain.
I was like, I don't think you understand like, this is boring,
it is boring, and repetitive andboring, and boring and I'm
bored. And I'm, he came over, like she
came over. I was like, running about, like
a little mouse. She's like, how you doing.
I'm like I'm bored. Literally what I said I was
like, not very nice what I do because I was like, sweaty and

(05:22):
hot and I hate being sweaty and hot and so she was like, I'm
bored I'm so bored. I'm just bored fucking bored.
And she's like, oh, it's okay. And so then she was like
working, you know, like figure out like what we're gonna do and
then she's like well what if we did like 15 minutes of cardio at
the beginning and then like 15 minutes of cardio at the end.
So like, wouldn't have to be like a long chunk and I was
like, I like this. I'm glad that they heard you.

(05:43):
That's yeah, I like this. But that was like that also,
like, just like in combination with a lot of, like, my My
fucking Mobility challenges and stuff that was like frustrating
because they like what can you do this?
I was like, No. And they're like, well, can you
do that was like, no. Like what about this?
I was like, nah, that doesn't really work either.
It's so they're just like, okay, well, here's like one thing you
can do. I was like, great, how much did

(06:04):
like did? How much, how much do they are?
Did they know like about your day?
Tony, and disability? Like did you like brief them?
Or was it like in the wild? You know, they have like cuz
it's part of like the health system.
Like the gym is part of like thehouse.
System, you know? So like that was kind of do
because they had like my recordsand everything.
But like she asked me, she was like, well, like, you know, like

(06:25):
what are your, you know, what are your concerns?
Like, what's it like? And it was really interesting
because one of the things that she asked me and I thought this
was a very nobody's ever asked me it this way before and I
thought it was a really good wayof asking.
She said, what is it like to move in your body?
Like wasn't like, what hurts or like in order it was like what's
it like to move? And then I was like, I don't

(06:45):
know. I like a reception but then I
talked At that and then we were told and she was like, you know,
she was like guiding me through these like movements or
whatever. And then that became a whole
thing where she was like, oh wow, like you're you really
struggle with this and I was like, yeah, like my brain and my
body are very disconnected. She's like, okay, well then I
think we need to like we need todial it back.
We need to like, you know. Okay, well, it was really

(07:08):
interesting because I was like, because I like I do a lot of
stuff that I don't even like like I tend to like, over rotate
my arms and like, you know, likedo just like weird things to
compensate for like the pain that I feel.
And so she was like pointing that out.
She's like, actually can you like move your arm this way?
Like that way? And so I was like is really
interesting experience from justlike going in, just completely

(07:30):
unprepared and that was like, anxiety-inducing, but it was
like mostly fine with it becauseit was like she was like really
interested in like making sure that like whatever I was going
to do was going to be like work you know.
And so that was that was cool. That's cool.
I really I mean cuz you're gonnadrink some water.
With some loud. I snail.

(07:50):
Yeah, go for it. Hydration Church baby.
Oh you're a nice chore to the. I appreciate you turning away
from the microphone I believe it.
Yeah when I just like chopping on ice but I mean like you
working out for you it's it's more like a puzzle than just
like a thing to do because like if you're able body or if you

(08:13):
don't have to Sony then you knowit's like do the curls and pull
up but it's like no if I did that stuff it would hurt.
And yeah well it's like physically like the problem.
Is with like a lot of workouts is like if I can track this
muscle is going to stay like that.
Until like you like I was doing like, um, like the thing.

(08:34):
We like push against the like leg presses I guess.
And I was like, oh, we have to wait a second.
She's like why I was like, because my latest like stuck,
like wait a sec. She's like, okay Lee.
But yeah, it was just like, I don't know.
And so is this really interesting experience where
like I just like it wasn't anything where I was like oh my
God like you know, I was like, Broke down in tears.

(08:55):
I did cry at one point but like it was less about you know, like
I was sad or whatever and I was mostly just like frustrated and
bored but it was very like eye-opening for me in terms of
like, Having this opportunity to, like, really meet with
somebody, who's like, okay, well, we want this to like work
with you, but then, all of these, like, really interesting

(09:16):
like neurodivergent things happen, like I was dealing with
like boredom. I was dealing with executive
function. I was take dealing with like
interception. I was dealing with like a weird
amount of social anxiety becauseeverybody at the fucking gym was
jacked. Everybody looked like a goddamn
fucking model. They were all beautiful people
like every single person and I was like I do fight, but I was

(09:37):
like, it is the gym and fucking movie studio.
So that makes sense, but it was like really, like I felt super
awkward and like, out of place. And so that was really funny.
And I like didn't want to be perceived and like that was
like. And then I was like in my head
about that and it was just like, there's just like a lot.
It was just like a lot of different things happening all
at once. And then I came home and you
made me stretched in the hallway, the end?

(09:59):
I'm worried. If you don't stretch, you're
going to campaign for the next one is so upset that I didn't
stretch. I usually get up, we have to
search. Radar was upset you, I was a
virgin. See like stretch a bird c41.
I'm right. It sounds like they're really
listening to you. Attending his fucking really
cool which is not I don't say that's not normal, but it's
definitely not. As usual oven.

(10:22):
Yeah, maybe that's right. Word standard Peter.
Yeah. I don't know whose it was
interesting. It was an interesting
experience. I don't know what else I wanted
to talk about with it, but it just made me think a lot about
like habits and like, just like the struggle ADHD people have
with stuff like that, like new habits and completely changing,
like, how you're gonna do stuff because like, the significant

(10:47):
difference, I like this is like eight weeks.
I have to like, go do this thing.
Yeah. Yeah I mean I think the hardest
one of the hard parts are working out for me.
If not the hardest part is is the many, many steps that it
takes we were talking about thisin the car.
I think you made it take. Talk about a dead and nobody saw
it. So we can't do it here fucking

(11:10):
salty. I'm sorry, it's a healthy, I
know as I'll he but it's fine, but like so Katie you and I used
to go to the pool, the pool And do like water aerobics and, and
you know what not, uh, yeah. I'm uh, yeah, water aerobics,
aquatic exercising things. There was a class.

(11:31):
Yeah, it was fucking delightful family, I miss my old lady
friends. I miss my old a friend.
Miss John. Yeah, like at age, 80 year old
dude who just came in like what's up everybody?
I Don't Dance starts doing the Charleston.
Yes, we go. It was at like 9:00 in the
morning now. So when we would have to get up

(11:52):
really early and then we had like a convention or something
to me, but I've got out of the habit of it but we were talking
about like we should go back andthen we started like just
spinning out on like okay. Yeah.
So if we go back, that means we have to find our ratings suits
clean, our bathing suits, start getting to sleep earlier so that
we can wake up early. We probably need to gonna get
more melatonin like we need to make sure we're probably Living

(12:13):
in the same place so we can share a car in the way that like
it just immediately turned into it's not just one thing going to
the pool, it's 45 things and to people who don't have any HD
that just sort of like scans, it's just like all right.
You know like that all turns into one thing.
It's the one thing they're doingbut it consists of many things
whereas us, it stays a bunch of separate things and it's fucking

(12:36):
terrifying and like our relationship to like lists of
things is different than neurotypicals verse.
In the relationship to like compound tasks.
And it's like the gym which is just traumatic and weird for a
lot of people for a lot of reasons because I don't know,
there is a really interesting thing.
So this the lady who has worked with her name is Nisa and she's

(12:59):
delightful and she was like wellyou just have to have like find
the joy in it. I was like there is no joy in
cardio that's a lie and she likewe like kind of like laughed and
she like no but like seriously like you should like try and
find something that you like to do and I was like I don't think
you understand like the things that I like to do, I can't do
because I heard all the time. Like that's you know what I

(13:20):
mean? And she's like, oh well, you
know, like there's a lot of different like classes to try
and all this stuff and she's like, you know, and hopefully
like that what we're doing will like, you know, help you with
that. But I was like, I want to do
fucking like ballroom dancing, but I can right now, you know,
like I can't do that. Like that seems fun that seems
like fun cardio, you know, I go fuckin ballroom dancing and
shit. What if like?
But sorry, nothing like that. Sit.

(13:43):
That was my whole thought. I don't know where this party
has to go. I guess, but I was complaining
about, it's weird. It's like 7:30 we record way
earlier, my podcast, about me, complaining about stuff.
Thank you for being here. Maybe an on.
This isn't me like telling you that.
I think you should do this, but I'm just, you know, throwing it
out there. Yeah.
Like maybe you start ballroom dancing like start easy but like

(14:03):
start, so you're doing it and then your workouts are like this
happened at during ballroom dancing like this hurt.
I did wasn't strong enough to dothis.
Yeah. And then the workouts are Our
means of making ballroom dancingmore pleasant.
Eric, you know if I start bawling again, tomorrow?
Yeah, of course, you aren't as one piece like swing dancing,

(14:27):
you know? That's a thingy.
Yeah, but I don't want to get picked up.
I'm scared. I we don't, I will never pick
you up. Really like spin.
People are out of stuff to do all things really scary, you
know, unless you want pick me up, you mean, you pick me up,
pick you up, okay? Let's see your ad.
I mean, can you I don't know, boy, you know those videos were
there like you used to be able, I've never danced before and

(14:49):
they don't know what song. They're gonna be dancing to, and
then it's always, like, the bestthing you've ever seen.
I'm gonna learn how to do that. That seems really fun how to
dance really, really well. But yeah, but it's like that,
like specific Swing day. It's like, West Coast or
whatever. Oh, yeah.
We'll just put on some like random like Nicki Minaj song and
it's just like amazing. Yeah.
I mean, like, I haven't like worked out consistently in a

(15:13):
long time, but when I did, it was about, like, I started like,
eating better and stuff. Yeah.
Not because not as like, it's something though.
It's just because if I eat like shit, then I would feel terrible
the gym. So it wasn't like, I should go
to the gym and start eating but it wasn't Yeah, I think it was
just one of them naturally. Followed.
Yeah. So I feel like if go to the gym

(15:34):
was I think it's like, all right.
Well I'm doing this other thing.Yeah.
And that's going to suck. Unless I go to the gym, you
know, that's how I look The Bardgot in really good shape.
Oh, really? Yeah, barn dance.
Yeah. We should totally do it, would
you say a bar? And I met a guy at twitchcon is
internet. Thing is mr.
Joker, but he was, I checked which guy Hydra check, he was

(15:59):
which guy in Minecraft and we hit off his great guy.
His wife was also there, who wasalso amazing.
And she is A competitive, like, I guess it's sort of like, an
ASC thing, like a society for Creative anachronisms thing, or
SCA, whatever it is. The answer is the American
Shakespeare center, right after it is impaired, acronyms in your

(16:20):
life, but, but yeah, so, but it's like, dancing social.
Do you like a whole dance routine?
That's all based on like the 40s, and then that's cool stuff.
But she's only a couple things and it's fucking awesome, and
she and her husband both do it. Like, I don't know if they
compete or what everybody will do it.
We were just like in a bar in San Diego and like music was on

(16:42):
just regular music and people were dancing.
And then, they started just like, it was subtle it, what
they didn't do like calling, it was just kind of subtle at first
and then they started just moving more and more and
eventually like a hook a circle just like formed around them for
around me. So cool, but I feel like I like
the anti reception to be a good dancer.
If you're a ballroom dancer and you listen to our podcast,
please email us a skit every request podcast.com with

(17:06):
suggestions tips. And tricks also, I will have to
buy some some cool outfits. Okay?
Become real is like Alf, is it looks like you're a figure
skater, you know. It's like the like slit up the
side and it has, like, Fringe. I always wanted to dress his
French. Yeah, I feel like you have to be
like, a perp like a competitive dancer.
Like a figure skater to, like, pull up French.
I don't think so. I don't know.

(17:26):
I can't believe. I'm not saying for, like, other
people, I'm saying, for me, I feel like people.
Look at me, like, what are you doing?
I think you put. You look like a lamp.
Let's rip it. For juillet She lays.
I always wanted those like, 1940s pants that like go up
really high and they're kind of baggy but then they like taper a
little bit. Yeah.
Like, what? The dance teacher in Black Swan?

(17:48):
Yeah, you know. Yeah, it was want to wear those.
Let's go probably a, some HowardStark pants, Howard Stark pants.
Yeah, dancing this week. Yeah.
Oh yeah, absolutely. Like, there's like a place.
There's a place that's like, um,It's you know where you go to
like turn to go to like the vet.Yes it's like right there.
You don't have to go hell. Yeah I'm super into it.

(18:09):
Yeah and also like like it seemsalso I feel like I when I watch
these people do like swing dancing and stuff.
This educational planning to do ball like this.
What are we doing? I don't know but I think we're
listening but it was amazing to me.

(18:30):
I've just been thinking about itconstantly since then we haven't
really talked about it but it was amazing to me it was really
a lot of it was really subtle. It wasn't like big thing like
flourishes and whatnot. It was just like a very subtle
way of moving their feet. Like every doing the basic
steps, very subtly, but it just works.
So it's sort of like salsa dancing.
Yeah. Like, if you watch people like
my grandfather, for example, on my dad's side, do you not the

(18:53):
original error code? He was the third are cute,
whatever. But Eric, dude, my grandmother
on my dad's side, he was an excellent dancer but he wasn't
in there, some videos of him dancing, but it was really
subtle. He wasn't like jumping up and
down and stuff. It was just an any time.
He could just sort of start moving his feet and he's very
subtle little steps that just totally work to the music like
we should. Videos of really old people

(19:16):
doing, salsa dancing and swing dancing.
It's a let's true because they like it's they're still totally
doing it but it's just a much subtler than what's want to go.
Visit your aunt and go salsa dancing.
Yeah. All of you ever seen Betty and
Gaby dancing is a fucking sight dude.
They don't mess around. You dance with my uncle, didn't
you? And Gabrielle greatest moment of

(19:36):
my life, that's fine. I didn't expect you to be.
So I don't know what words wouldbe.
Uncomfortable, being do not listen to podcast.
Well, I do know, I'll put it this way.
I did not know her. Uncle's cool.
He's very cool Gabrielle. He said he's calling it.
An architect who exactly is in America, but he's from Columbia

(19:59):
architect. I didn't know how like, cool and
like Bond villain. He had gotten, I haven't seen
him in a couple of years here, so I'm at the wedding a couple
months ago, fondle it, but I'm sure he's got like the hairs yak
and he's like, okay. Aging like fucking cheese.
Fine wine. Like jeez.
That's supposed to be aged, not like anything.
I've already you know, whatever.Although I'm sure you could each
have already but you know, he's aging like cottage cheese.

(20:30):
I mean, I think having a thing that like you like that, the
reason you do it is that you like doing it.
And then it just so happens to be that, it's like cardio like
playing with Bailey, or whateverfor you.
It's, I know it's much work. Implicated for you.
So I don't mean to like not think it sounds simple but I
feel like they all happen at night which is like better.
Yeah. The big things is like
everybody's like oh come to our 8:30 in the morning workout

(20:53):
class. Mike no I'm sleepy.
But if you have your that shit at like 4:00 p.m.
I'm their sign me up. Yeah.
Like dude we're doing like wateraerobics to on Wednesday.
It's going to be great. We're gonna do you want a beer
at 6 a.m. no Q? Absolutely not, I'd rather die.
I would rather die in front of my dog.
No. Time for my dog, good dog.

(21:21):
She is beautifully cooked to thedoc.
I mean most mad about that. Like I'm really mad about for
like a couple days. By the way, is just that they
didn't fucking tell you when theemail come dressed to do
physical activity that like whatthe fuck dude?
Like you could have showed up inlike a ballroom dress?
Yeah, that's a narrow have a - on my way to this mixture once
you movie starts Ray, you know, and You get cast in a movie and,

(21:44):
you know, it's an enchanted to and then, you know, you meet
Ryan Reynolds and then you get married around rounds in the
podcast is over like now rattlesjust be the third on the podcast
just to be infinite. Que eres, infinite Quest.
But also Ryan Reynolds is here to reyn Reynolds.
That would be funny if we just got one just like a Lester
celebrity. You famous guys know we're just
like it, fuck it. You know like Stephen Fry.

(22:07):
Oh my God, I would love to have Sue.
I be scared of. I would want to know like a
months in advance like because that's the thing.
It's like there's like Really Riles.
Like we could just like, she'll be like, hey, like let's talk
about just be way less funny than.
Yeah, that would be. I mean, I'm fine with that.
But like, I feel like, Steven Wright, you gotta, like, asking,
like, interesting questions, youknow, you gotta, like, you gotta
come A game, A game? Oh, yeah.

(22:27):
I would, I would want to, I would, we have teeth on the bike
as a game. We have Hokies Eve.
Oh, yeah. Keith.
I feel better. Didn't know his last name.
It's just, he's just kidding. So much like seal and yeah,
Keith. Oh no.
I love that. That's a really nice vase.
Yeah, it's a A Keith took. I think I think he could be on

(22:48):
the podcast if we were a star like Keith would a good one with
all the bad guys, I'm still not over that.
I know we should have Loosely Worsley on the podcast but she
does. She just had like a really hip
podcast and so I feel like now she's like out of her League.
Yeah. Although I found a podcast that
I really want to be on was that it's okay.
This is a straight-up podcast recommendation on the podcast

(23:09):
but his podcast is called, you're dead to be and it's a BBC
podcast and Instead of it is fucking brilliant.
Are, it's such a good idea for apodcast, you're dead to me.
That wasn't like in parentheses. You weren't telling me that I'm
dead to you, in the middle of your sentence.
Is that to me, okay, but they conceded a podcast.
Is that the guy who hosts Horrible Histories brings on and
historian and a comedian, and then they talk about like some

(23:32):
historical topic. Well, that's cool.
Yeah. Well, that's how it's like.
So like, if the historian is like, you know, like a little
awkward then, you know, then thecomedian is there to like ask
questions or like whatever. /. But if the historian is like
interesting, then they're just like vibing, and it's like
really good, but they did one Eric.
They did one about medieval Christmas and they didn't want
about Charles Dickens Christmas. And so my pitch.

(23:55):
I'm gonna, I'm gonna email them this week.
Be like, hey, oh, hear me out. I have a very, very Niche area
of special interest that I thinkwould be delightful on your
podcast. I think it would definitely
would be and we could send them the episode that we did with
everything. I listen to it in the car.
Oh, did you? That's why I was on my mind
emotion to it because I realizedI the Chad conference I was

(24:19):
talking about it and for some goddamn reason, I got it in my
head that Christmas Carol is written in 1893 but that's
wrong. It was written in 1843 and Titus
and dronicus was written in 1593and they got switched her out of
my head. Ferris myself in front of a
roomful of people baby. Look yeah.
Charles Dickens wrote Christmas.Carol in 1893, he was dead by
then, wait, sorry. Spaced out.

(24:41):
Who was this in front of everybody at the chat?
Add conference Chad. Come now, I'm right.
Just I was just it's like haunting me that I was so wrong.
About a fact. I know what you mean.
What was like last week or the week before we talk more talk
about on theme. Oh yeah, I said he was born in
the BBC's Mesopotamia. No, it's okay.
Sometimes you're just wrong about stuff but you were you
weren't like, no, no, Wikipedia is wrong.

(25:03):
But Katie because I have a deep deep intrinsic fear of looking
stupid and I think, doubling down when you're clearly wrong,
makes you look stupid. So I try not to do it.
It's so weird that you brought up Elon Musk.
I dream about him last night, but it's probably not interested
unless you were there. I just, I just delivering a sick

(25:25):
bird Elon Musk close. He's behavior is bad.
Very bad right now, it's bad guy.
Come on, dude, I'm here. What is there to say?
I said sorry we're going to be alarmist but oh the joke was
right there. Anyway, moving on.
So sorry that wasn't me being like what is there to say?
Like, have fucking dare you. Bring it up.
I just mean there's no way. I could talk about Elon Musk

(25:45):
without just repeating. Other takes how do you train
your dog to be a lap dog? Mobility on my lap all the time.
I don't know. I think you like bring a treat
up and she, like, follows it or ham.
This talk will do, literally anything here.
So, I want to get her an entire. And I know that's not good for a
dog, but I just one time, I justwant to be, like, here's a whole
ham. Got this for you.

(26:06):
If I had, if I had like three, wishes, one of them would be,
that Bailey can eat any quantityof anything and not get sick,
they just give her like a million dollars.
You just feel like I'm not, she definitely would well, dogs like
famously daughter. Self-control, they'll just keep
eating until which, hey, dude metoo.
So yeah. They also may be HD thing also

(26:27):
80s. I mean, when you were gone
yesterday, two days ago, I was here with alone with Bailey and
the similarities between me and Bailey are fucking staggering.
I mean, like, I mean, yes, II know, I'm a golden retriever but
like we were sitting on the couch and you the garage door
open, because you got home, and we both went home and like

(26:49):
lifter. Laughs.
And I yell I'm not kidding to nobody Katie's home.
That's adorable. Nobody in the house.
It's warms the cockles of my heart is what that does.
That's So I do know and I think I do it.
Like every guy's dream, think about it.
It's just, I'm expressing. What's in my heart?
You know, I've thought about like running to the door but you

(27:15):
know, you should meet me at the door and just jump on top of a
van, you know? Goddamn.
I'm working so hard where we're going.
So hard to turn it out of her tojump.
Yeah, I mean, I'm I feel like a dick because sometimes, when she
jumps up, I'm like, I've you feel what?
Yeah. It's real problem.
If she does, it feel like the wrong person, then she might
knock them over and then that's obviously not something we want

(27:36):
to be, not so good. Oh yeah, be responsible pet
owners responsible pet, owners Kto do, not just for her
well-being, but for the well-being of others also, you
will be happy to know dear listeners.
That today, we discovered that Bailey is afraid of boxes.
What she is was very concerned. The neighbors were cleaning out
their garage and they had like abig stack of boxes like on it

(27:57):
like outside like on the road bytheir driveway, Billy lost her
mind, like lost her mind. She's like, what am I fat?
And I was like, what is he? Like, she got so bad.
I took her out there and I like walked her by the boxes and
she's like, I don't know about this.
I don't know about this and I was like, what are you?
What are you doing, man? He was afraid.

(28:19):
Excuse me. Yesterday, why do I even try to
remember how many fucking days ago?
Something was in a portion of time.
That was the past. Not so long ago, that I was
like, noticeably a younger man, but like, not really enough to
remember, but she was really afraid of one of the oven mitts.
Now then it fell on the floor and she would did like the whole

(28:39):
thing where she like, walked into the room and she like
stopped and I like pointed her whole body at it and got really
low to the ground. And then just like put like one
paw in front of the other and then we'd like, Back a couple
and then like move or a little again.
So I was like, oh no buddy and Ilike touched it and she looked
at me like she looked like I just lit myself on fire.

(28:59):
So, it does look like a shark though.
And of I saw a Shark if I thought the upper movies an
actual shark, I would be afraid of it too.
Yeah. I'll be shocked to the lake.
Yeah. Bill is enough concepts of the
Sharks. Yes.
Or the internet? Or the internet?
Think about that a lot. Like dogs.
Don't know the internet exists. Yeah.
That's weird to make housing Chris.

(29:20):
And I were Playing that game, double lock hole, which by the
way, excellent game called The Block will go get it.
And it has to do with like turning cubes on their sides and
Bailey kept like interfering, she kept like walking up and
like nozzle in the game with hernose and we're like well yeah.
But then I said to Chris, I was like, well actually, if you
think about it to us she's like she doesn't know.

(29:41):
We're playing a game, she just thinks we're playing with our
toys really stupidly because, you know, you can fucking chew
on these things, like all day. They're great like, What are you
doing? Let me show.
You know, Bailey, we have. We've made up rules that don't
really exist. We've deliberately constrained.
Well, the behaviors were allowedto do with these toys such to
play a game, which I'll tell youabout when you're older.

(30:03):
Yeah, that's good. A lot of things going to tell to
Bailey when were older. Are you all right?
I'm Eric that's 30. Boobs, is that 30s 30?
Well, I don't know about you. I feel like this is probably the
most educational and useful podcast.
Yeah I'm in the habit of making it because it's one of the only
one like content that I really We like making nowadays and so
it's like, you know what last week was robbed.

(30:24):
We're like yeah, there's last week was rough.

that I make all the internet nowadays, I'm working on it but
it's okay, there's dog. But if you would like to help

patreon.com Katie asaurus, they want a sport, just one of us,
you know, if you want to, if youwant to sort of like divide and

all of my stuff in the coming year.

advertising and sponsorships so we'd really appreciate it.

because we only need two hundredof you.
