Jacob Scott was placed on the U.S. Marshals Top 15 Most Wanted list. Scott, who fled days before he was supposed to plead guilty to 14 counts of child sex abuse in July 2018, was accused of sexually assaulting his 14-year-old stepdaughter, ultimately impregnating her. Shortly after, there were signs of a suicide: a gun, a note and some blood drops in a dinghy found in the Gulf of Mexico. Eighteen months later, he was in custody.
