SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hello and welcome to
Cheers to Ears, where today
we're having a Jollywood Night'sSugar Cookie Martini and talking
Disney gift ideas for thefamily.
Welcome to Tears to Ears.
We're gonna click our drinks.
We're gonna toast.
We're gonna toast and get ourcheers to ears.
(00:24):
Cheers to Disney.
Okay.
Okay, hello, cheers to ears fanseverywhere for our final
Christmas show of the year.
SPEAKER_01 (00:36):
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (00:36):
Where we're drinking
the one of the best drinks.
We're ending this on a highnote.
SPEAKER_01 (00:41):
I think this is one
of the top five drinks of all
time.
SPEAKER_00 (00:43):
Man, this is good.
This is a Jollywood Knightssugar cookie martini found at
Jollywood Nights at DisneyWorld.
SPEAKER_01 (00:49):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (00:50):
And it has vanilla
vodka, Irish cream, amaretto,
and milk.
And it's often served with afrosted sprinkle rim glass and
sometimes a sugar cookiebiscotti for dipping.
That'd be interesting.
We didn't do that.
But it's$11, we said$11.
$11.
And how do we make it?
We made it delicious.
(01:10):
I mean, we added stuff.
If you can see this, before westart, before Aaron drinks too
much of his, because you canprobably see his better.
But with the sprinkles and thislittle, we're doing a huge thank
you, Christy.
Thank you, Christy.
Yeah.
This is awesome.
It's a cranberry ice cube shemade.
SPEAKER_01 (01:27):
Yes, where you put
four cranberries in the ice
cube, and when it freezes, thenit looks very decorative.
We did a little peppermintsprinkles on top just to give it
a little more color.
Everything else.
So we did Vale Vanilla vodka, one shot of that, one shot of
Bailey's Irish cream liqueur.
We did, and I forgot the brand, but we just did like an ounce of
(01:51):
amaretto liqueur, and then aboutan ounce of milk and a half
ounce of sugar, simple syrup.
SPEAKER_00 (02:00):
Man.
SPEAKER_01 (02:02):
And yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (02:03):
You can't even.
It's creamy.
It has that amaretto taste toit.
SPEAKER_01 (02:08):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (02:09):
Slight.
It's slight because we didn'tadd too much.
It's a perfect amount ofamaretto.
It hits and everything.
SPEAKER_01 (02:15):
It's very boozy
because it's all just a bunch of
liqueur, Bailey's, the vodka.
SPEAKER_00 (02:21):
And what doesn't say
Christmas time more than boozy?
SPEAKER_01 (02:23):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (02:24):
I mean, come on.
SPEAKER_01 (02:26):
This is to me, this
is top five.
This is right up there with it'scrowding the Ottawa Apple.
SPEAKER_00 (02:33):
Well, to for top
one.
Because Ottawa Apple is like thebig group.
SPEAKER_01 (02:37):
It's like the number
one.
SPEAKER_00 (02:39):
Right.
But this is going to bememorable for the drinks.
This is as we watch the ArmyNavy game on Saturday.
This might be involved.
SPEAKER_01 (02:47):
And I have to say,
yeah, I think it will be.
I have to say the martini gameat Disney World and Disneyland
is spot on.
Because we've done several.
We were talking about that.
So the key lime pie martini, thecold brew martini, grapefruit
cake martini.
We did a lemon martini, blueberry lemon martini, and I
(03:10):
think we did one other, butthey've all been very good.
But this is the best one out ofall the martinis.
SPEAKER_00 (03:17):
And just the best
way to end our Christmas season
here on Cheers to Ears.
SPEAKER_01 (03:20):
Yeah, with a very
nice looking drink.
SPEAKER_00 (03:24):
It does stick to the
coaster.
SPEAKER_01 (03:26):
The coaster, our
cheer, our official Cheers to
Ears coasters.
SPEAKER_00 (03:30):
Right.
Rice.
I said rice.
SPEAKER_01 (03:32):
Gift from Leah Riley
here.
I'll hold it up to the camera.
Yeah, it's dripping all over theplace.
This is our second drink today.
SPEAKER_00 (03:40):
Yeah, and uh, so as
we record this, the game will be
over, but we're watching theArmy Navy game this Saturday
together.
It's gonna be great.
My son is at the Naval Academyright now.
He got me this great Christmasshirt.
If you can see that says damnthe torpedoes, full sleigh
ahead.
SPEAKER_01 (03:56):
Yes, with goats.
SPEAKER_00 (03:57):
Yeah.
So yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (03:58):
Pulling the sleigh,
chasing the army donkey?
SPEAKER_00 (04:03):
It's a mule.
SPEAKER_01 (04:04):
Mule.
SPEAKER_00 (04:04):
It's a donkey,
whatever they call it.
SPEAKER_01 (04:06):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (04:06):
Something just it's
probably pretty smart, but not
as smart.
SPEAKER_01 (04:10):
Well, that's
interesting.
That would be isn't a mule likea cross between a donkey and a
horse, and it can't reproduce.
I don't know.
And is that a desired trait ofthose who went into the army
that they don't reproduce?
Maybe.
SPEAKER_00 (04:23):
But I know the Army
Navy Week.
Like I said, this is gonna comeway out way after the game's
already over.
I say that to a Marine guy whohas never really cared about
either any other service in hislife until now, which is
hilarious.
Army Navy Week is one of themost one of the funniest things.
I wish we would have had an ArmyNavy Week episode.
We'll have one next year.
A Disney Army Navy Week.
(04:44):
We'll celebrate the servicessomehow next year because this
week is great at the academies.
But enough about that.
This is not an Academy episode.
There's other great ones forthat.
And if you would like to knowthem, tell me.
Just email us, and I will giveyou some great podcasts to
listen to.
SPEAKER_01 (04:59):
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (05:00):
For that.
But we're talking Disney giftideas today for your families.
SPEAKER_01 (05:04):
And I misinterpreted
what we were doing.
SPEAKER_00 (05:06):
But that's okay
because I probably didn't convey
it correctly.
SPEAKER_01 (05:09):
Because, and as
always, we don't really we throw
out the idea and we go, yeah, let's go with that.
And then we don't really talkabout it after that.
So Disney Christmas gift ideasfor the family.
So you took it.
I did literally for family, close friends, and you did like
(05:29):
just for you made up familymembers.
SPEAKER_00 (05:32):
I didn't do that.
I just did like a family memberthat's a Disney lovers, right?
Yeah.
Those people, the Disney, likeeh, like meh, Disney.
And then people that say, I willnever go to Disney my life as
the stupidest thing ever.
I can't believe you waste yourmoney on that.
You're a Disney adult and Idon't like you very much because
of it.
SPEAKER_01 (05:49):
Yeah.
Those people.
Those people.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (05:51):
I don't associate
life.
SPEAKER_01 (05:53):
I don't associate
with those.
No, they're angry.
They're miserable.
They like to be happy.
They join the army.
SPEAKER_00 (05:58):
See how good that
episode would be if we just we
could have an army person inhere as a guest.
So this is a good idea for nextyear.
SPEAKER_01 (06:06):
We'll talk about a
you do have a close.
Well, that would be five of us,but I was like Eric and my
father.
I don't know what he would belike on a podcast.
Having interviews with someolder gentlemen.
Yeah.
Yeah, they ramble.
Right.
He wants some dad jokes.
You want some dad jokes.
SPEAKER_00 (06:21):
My dad is the expert
at dad jokes.
SPEAKER_01 (06:23):
Yes.
He's good at them.
But I was just like, if we hadyou, your dad, or Eric, and then
Eli, we've got three branches.
Uh-huh.
And we don't really need to dothe Air Force.
I could represent the Air Forcebecause anyone could.
Anybody could.
I was I flew in a plane once.
SPEAKER_00 (06:40):
My brother-in-law
was in the Air Force.
SPEAKER_01 (06:41):
Was he?
SPEAKER_00 (06:42):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (06:43):
And that's all you
have to say about that.
Okay.
Yeah.
So you have nondescript familymembers.
I actually went with actualpeople.
SPEAKER_00 (06:55):
So we just do one at
a time like we do sometimes.
Like we just one person does alltheir thing.
Maybe I should go first.
SPEAKER_01 (07:02):
Yeah.
Because maybe we can discussyou.
Because mine would break up intoI would say three groups.
SPEAKER_00 (07:07):
Yeah, then you can
just do your whole list though.
Because mine's not long.
Mostly the haters is what Ihave.
Because for a Disney lover, it'sanything.
It's dumb.
It's not even.
You can buy them anything,right?
Yeah.
The best thing is to buy like ifI was buying something for Addy
or Eli.
I say Addie.
Addie's a huge Disney fan,right?
Yeah.
Son's fiance.
And she would, I mean, MickeyEars.
(07:28):
Like her Christmas list that shesent us is amazing this year
because it's a lot.
It's very Disney inspired.
Really?
Which I love because Christy'slist has zero Disney on it.
SPEAKER_01 (07:38):
That's weird.
I know it's I would have thoughtshe'd be full.
SPEAKER_00 (07:42):
You would think so.
Yeah.
After Animal Kingdom.
SPEAKER_01 (07:45):
Yeah.
She bought all the things there.
SPEAKER_00 (07:47):
She bought it.
Yeah, she bought all sorts ofstuff.
So just a Mickey Ears spiritjersey kind of thing.
Yeah.
For that person.
For the med person, and I'lljust go down the list real fast
and we can discuss yoursprobably more because and I
might add some stuff.
I might even have some ideas forstuff I my family as we go
along.
For the med person, you want toget them like like DVDs on
(08:08):
Mickey Mouse cartoons?
SPEAKER_01 (08:09):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (08:10):
Who doesn't like
Mickey Mouse?
A Disney Plus subscription?
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
That's good because they can aPluto tote bag, I think, is a
good thing to get anybody.
Even if you don't like Disney, who doesn't like Pluto?
Yeah.
He's not really just he doesn'tscream Mickey Mouse in your face
like I I don't care aboutDisney.
Pluto's just a character.
SPEAKER_01 (08:29):
I mean, he appeals
to a lot.
Dog people.
Right.
Disney people.
SPEAKER_00 (08:33):
Yeah, Pluto
transcends Disney.
SPEAKER_01 (08:36):
He's he is up there.
Yeah, as far as appeal.
SPEAKER_00 (08:41):
Yeah.
So when you see Mickey Mouse orDonald Duck or Minnie, or you
think Disney.
You think Disney's goofy.
Pluto's just Pluto.
Yeah.
I think he could, he's Disney, but he could be mid.
Yeah.
Right?
Absolutely.
And of course, Star Wars stuff.
Star Wars is Disney now, but itwasn't always.
So you have those people thatdon't love Disney, but they
(09:04):
always love Star Wars.
Yeah.
And they used to separate thetwo.
SPEAKER_01 (09:07):
Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00 (09:08):
And now they can't.
They can't.
SPEAKER_01 (09:10):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (09:10):
Yeah.
I work with a guy just startedat work, and he has Star Wars
sleeves.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
Yeah.
Darth Vader, Anakin.
He has the whole he has thewhole Anakin Skywalker life.
Oh, okay.
On his arm.
And so he's never been to Disneyat all.
Yeah.
(09:31):
But he would probably love it.
He would love.
I told him about Dave and I aswe went into walked in the
Galaxy's Edge the first time.
SPEAKER_01 (09:38):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (09:38):
It was amazing.
It was amazing.
Yeah.
Just the looks on our faces, thelooking at Dave as he walked in,
the wide eyes.
Yeah.
Almost a tear in your eye.
SPEAKER_01 (09:49):
I can imagine, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (09:51):
Yeah.
So Star Wars stuff for a midperson, right?
And I came up with a few ideasfor the haters.
SPEAKER_01 (09:58):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (09:58):
Okay.
A little butt- you know thosebuttons that people have, they
push and they say stuff?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
A button that says Disney's forpeople, Disney's with people
that don't like life button.
Like they hit the button.
I hate Disney.
SPEAKER_01 (10:12):
I hate Disney.
Yeah.
I hate Disney.
SPEAKER_00 (10:14):
Like if I'm talking
about Disney too much, Christy
can have that button, right?
Stop talking about it.
It could just say stop talkingabout Disney.
Yeah.
Right?
It could be a different buttonfor any person.
It could be personalized.
It could be.
Right?
And you hit the button, stoptalking about Disney.
Disney timeout.
A Disney timeout button.
Disney Timeout button.
Yeah, Chrissy needs one ofthose.
She's in the hate, she's not inDisney hater category.
SPEAKER_01 (10:33):
No.
SPEAKER_00 (10:34):
She's in the meh.
SPEAKER_01 (10:35):
She's in the meh.
SPEAKER_00 (10:36):
Yeah, category.
SPEAKER_01 (10:37):
But I could see her
wanting you to stop talking
about Disney.
SPEAKER_00 (10:40):
She could use the
button to just Yeah, she would
want a remote one.
SPEAKER_01 (10:42):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (10:43):
That she could wear.
SPEAKER_01 (10:44):
Yeah.
Hooked up to your phone to whereit would be text me
automatically.
SPEAKER_00 (10:49):
Yeah, I came for the
snacks shirt.
Yeah.
That's the Disney haters.
Okay.
That's the Disney haters, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Star Wars stuff.
Again, Star Wars stuff.
Because you don't hate Disney ifyou hate Star Wars.
Exactly.
And uh Disney cocktail glasses.
SPEAKER_01 (11:07):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (11:07):
Why not?
Who doesn't like Disney?
Who doesn't like a cocktailglass?
SPEAKER_01 (11:10):
Yeah.
Everybody needs cocktailglasses, whether or not they're
and if they have a Mickey Mouseface on them.
SPEAKER_00 (11:16):
Yay.
And my final one is to go crazyon them and get them an entire
gift bag with a popcorn bucket,uh-huh, Disney pins, yeah, a
lanyard, yeah, uh, and a uh anduh buttons like the birthday
button and the first time buttononly there for them with their
name already on it.
SPEAKER_01 (11:35):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (11:35):
Yeah.
Okay.
That's my ideas.
Nice.
Really simple.
Very simple.
I really struggle with this morethan I thought I would.
This is one of my most struggledidea episodes.
What I should have done is doneI if I would have done what you
did and looked at like theDisney app and searched online
at what they're selling thestores right now, yeah, and
really shopped, like this wouldhave got me more involved, I
(11:57):
think.
SPEAKER_01 (11:58):
I only had to go on
and do that for one person
because I know what theirinterests are.
Uh-huh.
And I had to find something thataligned with both their interest
and Disney.
SPEAKER_00 (12:08):
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (12:08):
But everybody else,
something just popped into my
head.
SPEAKER_00 (12:11):
Okay, let's do yours
and describe so you can't like
say who you're talking about.
Like just saying Leah doesn'tmake sense.
SPEAKER_01 (12:19):
This would be good.
This would be good because thenyou can guess.
Oh, I'm guessing.
So I will say what it is, andyou guess, and then I'll tell
you whether you're right or not.
SPEAKER_00 (12:29):
Well, I don't know
Leah's husband, Brad.
That's the only person I do notknow, I think.
SPEAKER_01 (12:33):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (12:33):
Well, we'll I'll get
it, you think?
SPEAKER_01 (12:36):
There's a few that
you probably won't get.
SPEAKER_00 (12:38):
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (12:38):
So because like you
don't know my cousin and yeah.
So first one a week at beachclub in a two-bedroom, no park
tickets, two-bedroom club level,no park tickets, but they have
access to Stormlong Bay Pool andevery other day fishing
excursions.
SPEAKER_00 (12:56):
That's Dave.
SPEAKER_01 (12:57):
Yeah.
That's easy.
That's Dave.
Yeah.
And I thought club level forhim.
Yeah.
So two-bedroom.
He could go get snacks all day.
He could hang out at the pool.
Yep.
He could go do his fishingtrips, and he could sleep
two-bedroom because he can justshut the door.
And or when he comes out, he canjust be watching TV all day.
(13:18):
Yep.
Just that would be a perfectDisney trip, I think, for him.
SPEAKER_00 (13:22):
I think it would be
too.
SPEAKER_01 (13:23):
Yeah.
And he could save a few hundredbucks from going to the parks.
Actually, I think he goes to thepark because he likes seeing
everybody else happy.
I think so too.
That's why he goes to the parks.
SPEAKER_00 (13:32):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (13:33):
To see everybody
else happy.
Yeah.
Okay.
So the next one (13:36):
a giant box of
Disney Christmas decorations.
Oh, that's easy too.
Yeah.
That's Asha.
SPEAKER_00 (13:44):
Yeah.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (13:44):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (13:45):
So that's Dave's
wife, Asha, we're talking about.
Yes.
So this is your family.
SPEAKER_01 (13:49):
My family.
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (13:50):
We're talking about.
It's also my wife's best friendis Asha.
Yeah.
And that's how we know eachother.
SPEAKER_01 (13:55):
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (13:55):
So yeah, that they
work together.
SPEAKER_01 (13:56):
The kids have all
grown up together.
SPEAKER_00 (13:58):
We've known these
people forever.
SPEAKER_01 (13:59):
Okay, so I'm going
to mix this up.
Okay.
Actually, this is going to be aneasy one.
A Chubi popcorn bucket.
SPEAKER_00 (14:05):
A chubi popcorn
bucket?
SPEAKER_01 (14:07):
That's easy.
SPEAKER_00 (14:08):
Yeah.
Chewy?
Yeah.
Oh, for me.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
I was on your list.
You were on my list.
Okay, I don't know.
I was on your list.
I was telling who you are.
Who but me loves Chubi?
SPEAKER_01 (14:20):
This one might be a
little tougher.
Well, maybe not.
Okay.
See, these are that's the thing,is these are pretty specific to
the person.
And I'm doing the people youknow first.
So good.
A lifetime Disney Plussubscription.
Lifetime Disney Plussubscription.
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (14:36):
DJ?
What am I supposed to know it?
Is it easy?
SPEAKER_01 (14:39):
I think.
Yeah.
Christy.
Does she watch a lot of DisneyPlus?
I don't know.
SPEAKER_00 (14:44):
Who watched Disney
Plus?
SPEAKER_01 (14:45):
Leah.
Oh, does she?
She's a movie critic.
SPEAKER_00 (14:47):
I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_01 (14:47):
She wants to come on
and when we do a movie review,
that's the episode we could gether for is doing a movie review.
But we wouldn't be able to talk.
She would talk for half an hourabout the movie.
SPEAKER_00 (15:00):
She could sit right
here.
SPEAKER_01 (15:01):
Yes.
And we'll just sit here.
And we just sit and have ourdrinks, and she would just talk.
SPEAKER_00 (15:05):
Because one of our
specialties is eye candy.
That's what we're really goodat.
We yeah.
Oh man, that might be thefunniest thing I've ever seen.
Okay.
Go ahead.
SPEAKER_01 (15:13):
His own personal
plaid for the day, which I just
kind of gave that partially upby his Yeah, but I don't know
which one that is.
SPEAKER_00 (15:23):
The Eli?
SPEAKER_01 (15:24):
I didn't.
I so I thought about Eli andMcKeon.
I don't know who you included.
Yeah, that's true.
I I thought about Eli and Addieand Is it DJ?
It would be DJ.
SPEAKER_00 (15:33):
But well, I mean he
wouldn't need a the plaid just
gets on the same ride over andover again.
Does a plaid sit on the at theend of the ride DJ walks off and
gets right back on the road?
SPEAKER_01 (15:41):
But see, you've
taken enough trips with DJ, it's
he wants to do all the things, but he doesn't want to manage
it.
SPEAKER_00 (15:48):
That's true.
SPEAKER_01 (15:48):
Yeah.
And so if he has his plaid, hecould just tell the plaid what
he wants to do next and he cango do it.
So he gets his own personalplaid for the day.
And then harder than I thought.
Yeah.
There's only a couple more.
There's just Brad and Christy.
Which, okay, so I'm gonna doChristy next.
Okay.
Because I said an all-expensepaid Disney cruise.
SPEAKER_00 (16:09):
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (16:10):
And I'll actually do
that, but it must be claimed by
449 on December 10th.
Like in one minute.
Christy, you gotta claim it.
You got one minute to claim yourDisney cruise.
Oh, nope.
Sorry, you dismissed it.
I think, but so thinking aboutChrist, I think a Disney cruise.
SPEAKER_00 (16:27):
She would like a
Disney cruise, I think.
SPEAKER_01 (16:29):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (16:29):
We've never taken a
cruise still.
We talk about it all the time, but it just doesn't end up in
our vacation thing.
SPEAKER_01 (16:35):
Yeah, because
there's so many.
SPEAKER_00 (16:37):
And it fit Disney in
there in Annapolis in with what
we want to do.
SPEAKER_01 (16:41):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (16:42):
Like I really want
to go tour the Civil War battle
sites.
unknown (16:45):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (16:46):
That's my dream
vacation right now.
I'm trying to plan it right now.
Oh, nice.
It's it's a I really, I mean,really want to go to Gettysburg
and Antietham.
SPEAKER_01 (16:54):
That would be cool.
Man, okay.
The last one is Brad.
SPEAKER_00 (16:59):
Okay.
Which I don't know at all.
SPEAKER_01 (17:01):
Yeah.
And so he is a big cars fan.
SPEAKER_00 (17:04):
Oh, is he?
SPEAKER_01 (17:04):
Yeah.
Okay.
So I just saw the uniform fromRadiator Springs Racers.
Okay.
Just a uniform that they wearfor the ride.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
Would he wear that?
I have no idea.
But the fact that he had it, Ithink, would be enough for him.
SPEAKER_00 (17:18):
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (17:18):
Yeah.
Whether or not he wore it, justhaving a uniform would be
enough.
SPEAKER_00 (17:23):
That's funny.
SPEAKER_01 (17:24):
So the I had three
other people.
So there's Heaven and Roxanneand Ron.
So Roxanne and Heaven are mycousins.
Okay.
Heaven being her daughter.
Okay.
Roxanne's daughter.
And then Ron, who's Roxanne'sboyfriend.
SPEAKER_00 (17:36):
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (17:37):
And these will
resonate with them, uh, I
believe.
So Roxanne would get a Visa giftcard to pay for her next Disney
trip.
All right.
Yeah.
That's just I think that's allshe'd want.
I just a cart of great.
SPEAKER_00 (17:52):
I mean, who wouldn't
want that?
SPEAKER_01 (17:53):
Expense free trip.
I'll take a Disney gift cardanytime.
This is true.
I would too.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (17:58):
Reason.
That's like one of the bestgifts you could ever give me is
a Disney gift card.
Then I how do I spend this moneyon Disney?
SPEAKER_01 (18:06):
On Disney.
So Ron, so he's really intosnowmobiling.
So I just I put into, I think itwas Amazon.
Snowmobile Disney.
Okay.
And it actually a Disney Carsthemed snowmobile ornament.
SPEAKER_00 (18:23):
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (18:23):
Yeah.
That's cool.
So that's what he would get forChristmas.
Which is kind of light comparedto every what everybody else is
getting.
But he's the type of guy he'djust be happy with that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
People could be getting likefree trips to Disney.
He got an ornament that's justhis thing.
Nice.
And he would like that.
Heaven.
It's the last one on my list.
She would get a gift card toDisney Home to buy Disney themed
(18:47):
art and kitchen gadgets.
SPEAKER_00 (18:50):
Yeah.
Yeah.
That'd be great if that's whatChristy wanted.
SPEAKER_01 (18:53):
So that's and I
thought that would be yeah.
So these were all stuff thinkingabout them.
What would be the best Disneygift for the people that I know?
And yeah, this would be Christiewas probably the toughest.
SPEAKER_00 (19:07):
And just thought
you'd just get Christie from the
parks.
Say you're shopping in theparks, that you're going to the
park and buying something.
There's ornaments.
Earrings?
There's earrings.
I'll always look at earrings.
SPEAKER_01 (19:20):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (19:21):
For Michaela, I
think one thing Michaela, if she
was to buy something fromDisney, she really wants the
Tiana ring.
There's a there's rank, there'sPrincess Rings.
That's on Michaela and Addy'sChristmas list.
Is it Tiana Tiana?
And I think Addy's is Elsa.
SPEAKER_01 (19:39):
Oh.
SPEAKER_00 (19:39):
I think that's her
family.
I thought Belle was herfavorite.
SPEAKER_01 (19:42):
Oh, see, yeah, I
would have thought Belle.
SPEAKER_00 (19:44):
Yeah.
Because she's a big Beauty inthe Beast fan, right?
Yeah, it's I think Elsa's herfavorite.
I think.
And and Michaela's obviously isTiana.
Yeah.
That's the person.
That's her girl.
That's the person most likedMichaela all around, anyway, in
all of Disney.
And she's hasn't been since theride opened.
Oh to Disney.
I know.
We're talking, we're in thetalks right now of Disney
(20:08):
Channel Night.
SPEAKER_01 (20:08):
Disney Channel
Night.
SPEAKER_00 (20:09):
They're having that
again next year.
I think it's in April.
SPEAKER_01 (20:13):
Oh, okay.
One of the evening the nightevening events.
SPEAKER_00 (20:16):
She they had it a
couple years two years ago.
Okay.
They didn't do it last year.
They did it the year before.
Or they didn't do it this year.
They did it the year before.
Yeah.
It's not in the next year yet.
But it's just celebrates DisneyChannel.
And that's Michaela.
I mean, high school high schoolmusical at Hannah Montana are
Michaela's vibes.
Okay.
That's what she grew up with.
That's Michaela as a kid.
(20:37):
We're talking about making thattrip happen.
SPEAKER_01 (20:39):
Oh, that would be
fun.
SPEAKER_00 (20:40):
So buy for Michaela
a tiara.
Yeah.
She always wants them every timeI send her, send them to her
when we're at one of the shopsat Disney.
SPEAKER_01 (20:48):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (20:48):
She's like, can you
buy that for me right now?
SPEAKER_01 (20:50):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (20:50):
I think for Eli, I
would like to get like a
commission piece of the chef orthe cook, the baker?
The baker from Beating theBeast.
SPEAKER_01 (20:58):
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (20:59):
You can't find that
anywhere.
Because that's who he played inhis high school play.
SPEAKER_01 (21:03):
Yeah.
Now, could you go to the wherethey do the art the animation
studio at DCA?
SPEAKER_00 (21:11):
You would think that
you could, but you cannot.
No, they only make the you canonly have them draw for you,
personalized draw for you, something from their book.
SPEAKER_01 (21:21):
Oh.
SPEAKER_00 (21:22):
Because we asked.
SPEAKER_01 (21:23):
Yeah.
Okay.
And that's what I was going tosuggest asking them.
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (21:27):
And there's probably
find someone online.
And I thought about looking uponline because some gig work
artists.
Right.
Like the best online Disneyperson, which anyone like us
will love in their home, isthere's a guy who he's actually
designed signs for Disney.
Oh.
Like he made the original, hecarved out of wood the original
Splash Mountain sign.
(21:47):
Oh.
And you can commission him to dopieces of work for your house.
SPEAKER_01 (21:50):
Interesting.
SPEAKER_00 (21:51):
Yeah.
I'll show it to you after werecord.
I'll show you his website.
It's great.
Yeah.
What else do we have?
I was trying, I was trying tothink of different stuff to buy
in the parks because we weren'treally fast here, I think,
today.
SPEAKER_01 (22:03):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (22:03):
But we can, I mean,
we can be have a short episode
because it's Christmas time andwe can go have another beverage.
SPEAKER_01 (22:09):
We can go have
another beverage and let release
people to their week of Disney.
SPEAKER_00 (22:13):
And their Christmas,
because this is our last
Christmas episode.
And it's this comes out theMonday before Christmas.
Is that right?
SPEAKER_01 (22:19):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (22:20):
This will come out.
And so Christmas will be onThursday.
SPEAKER_01 (22:23):
What drinks did we
have the first two episodes?
I'm trying to remember whatdrinks we oh, you know what?
I know how to figure that out.
We had the holiday cosmopolitan, and we had this is definitely
the best Christmas drink.
Jolly Holly cocktail.
SPEAKER_00 (22:38):
That was they were
both okay.
SPEAKER_01 (22:41):
Those were okay.
So I would say I'm ranking them.
Number one is this martini.
The right with a sugar cookiemartini.
SPEAKER_00 (22:50):
Yes, number one.
SPEAKER_01 (22:51):
Number one.
Hands down.
Number two, I think, is prettyeasily the Stroopwaffle bourbon
coffee.
SPEAKER_00 (22:56):
That was very good.
SPEAKER_01 (22:58):
Now, and I can't
remember what was in the Jolly
Holly.
That makes it last.
If you can't remember.
And the Cosmopolitan.
SPEAKER_00 (23:06):
It was good.
You never really had a Cosmobefore.
SPEAKER_01 (23:08):
I'd never had a
Cosmo.
SPEAKER_00 (23:09):
So it was a little
twist on a Cosmo.
It was a twist.
You do a tweet.
Yeah.
And that's the kind of thethat's a new theme of our show,
is we're Disney with a twist.
Disney with a with a tweet.
With a little twist.
SPEAKER_01 (23:22):
Yeah, I would have
to go agree with that.
Jolly Holly was the fourth.
And then the HolidayCosmopolitan.
But this.
I mean, the only important thingis this is number one.
This is number one.
SPEAKER_00 (23:32):
Yeah, that's the
most important thing about the
rankings.
SPEAKER_01 (23:34):
The only thing.
Well, no, the bourbon coffee, because I like coffee drinks,
and that would have been a goodiced coffee.
Even without the bourbon, Ithink that would have been a
good one.
But let me eat a stroopwaffle.
SPEAKER_00 (23:47):
That was a good one
too.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (23:48):
But this is like
this is a good cocktail.
Right.
This is a good drink.
SPEAKER_00 (23:53):
This if we if you
picked a Stroopwaffle as number
one, that would be a real snub, unlike what the AL MVP was this
year.
Not a snub.
SPEAKER_01 (24:03):
Oh, with so if we
have any, I don't think we have
any like baseball.
SPEAKER_00 (24:07):
We probably have
baseball fans, but I'd throw
that out there for you.
Because but we agree.
We totally agree that it wasthere's yeah, such is life,
right?
Such is life.
Right.
And you finished yours early.
SPEAKER_01 (24:18):
I did.
SPEAKER_00 (24:19):
I still have a
little bit left.
SPEAKER_01 (24:20):
Pounded that sucker
down.
SPEAKER_00 (24:22):
I'm gonna go finish
this.
And what?
SPEAKER_01 (24:24):
I gotta say with
this, we did, and it was it said
holiday sprinkles on it.
I did peppermint sprinkles, which were just basically
crushed up candy canes.
And it actually, I think it wasit went well with the flavor,
having that little bit, thatlast drink with a little bit of
the peppermint, was still workedwith it.
SPEAKER_00 (24:44):
Oh yeah, and my ice
cube has collapsed and now that
have cranberries in there.
This is great.
SPEAKER_01 (24:49):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (24:50):
Cranberry taste at
the end.
SPEAKER_01 (24:51):
So thank you,
Christy, for putting together
those.
Yes, thank you, viewers.
