It's tarot of the week time for the week of November
3rd.
How you feeling out there,guys?

Frank (00:05):
How was Halloween?

Lauren (00:06):
How was it?
How'd it go?

Frank (00:08):
We had a very busy Halloween.
Turns out Halloween lasts abouttwo weeks where we moved
recently.
But welcome to November.
Everyone says November isimportant because it's when I
was born.
So we we've been looselystarting to go ahead.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
We've been loosely starting tofollow an energetic theme based
on like the the calendar of theold world.

(00:28):
I don't want to say the P word.
Bacon.
Some of those old holidays andrituals and what each the theme
of each of those months.
So, Lauren, what have we walkedinto in November here?

Lauren (00:37):
Introspection, healing, listening, reflection, soul
retrieval.
What is soul retrieval?

Frank (00:43):
Sounds like some deep work.

Lauren (00:45):
So I think I think kind of the point is like as this
year is coming to an end, slowdown and have some
introspection.
I think this is the time to doit because you're getting close
to the end of the year.
And then the beginning of theyear is when you go, whoa, let's
go.
What are my new dreams andgoals?

Frank (01:02):
Hey, Tarot.

Lauren (01:03):
Yes.

Frank (01:04):
Is that you, Tarot?
It's me, Frank.
It's the guy from the Mr.
Sandman song.

Lauren (01:10):
Mr.
Sandman.

Frank (01:11):
Yes.

Lauren (01:12):
Sing me a tree.

Frank (01:13):
How about a tarot call?

Lauren (01:17):
Single.
Split.
Single split.

Frank (01:18):
Card pull.
What is it?

Lauren (01:20):
It's the Ten of Wands.

Frank (01:22):
Ten of Wands.
Hold it up so people can see.
Give it.
Look at this.
Show it.
He's busy.
He's a busy guy.

Lauren (01:27):
He's working hard.

Frank (01:28):
Let's refer to our favorite gentleman, Dr.
Elliot Adam and his book,Fearless Tarot.
We don't get kickbacks forthat, by the way.
We just really like them.
Guys.
You know this is about my guy?

Lauren (01:40):
Tell me.

Frank (01:41):
Alright, my guy.
You know what your biggestinvestment is?
You know what the biggestinvestment is?
You know the best financialchoice you ever make in your
life?
Tell them.
I'll tell them.
It's you.
It's you.
Sometimes you might not feellike doing the work.
It's hard.
You gotta get in there.
There might be some tears.
It might be frustratingsometimes.

Lauren (01:58):
It's backbreaking.

Frank (01:59):
It can be backbreaking.
Yeah.
Emotionally backbreaking.

Lauren (02:02):
Emotionally breaking your back.

Frank (02:04):
But if we get in there and do the thing that you're
supposed to do for yourself, foryour future improvement, for
your own mental well-being,you're doing the thing that
separates you from like 90% ofpeople.
When you are the best versionof yourself, you are there for
not only yourself, but for thepeople around you.

Lauren (02:18):
Yep.

Frank (02:19):
Maybe this is the time when we lean into that a little
bit.

Lauren (02:22):
So if you see on this card, there's a little house
here in the distance.
Let's get in there.
That's what this guy is doingall the work for.
He's making the communitybetter by working really hard.
He's making himself better byworking hard.
And although it might seemtough, like Frank said, it's
worth it.

Frank (02:40):
It's harvest time, baby.

Lauren (02:41):
Integration is worth it.
The introspection.

Frank (02:44):
So it's time.
Get out there, do the thing.
We're here for you.
If you need some support, don'tyou worry about it.
We're here.
We're here this whole time.
We got you.
We're not going anywhere.

Lauren (02:52):
We're not going.

Frank (02:53):
We're right here.

Lauren (02:53):
We already went.
Hold my hand.
We already moved.
Okay, sure.

Frank (02:56):
We love you.

Lauren (02:57):
We love you.
Do it.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
