We spent the weekend really soaking in some alone time under the guise of being supportive parents. We dish about meeting people who listen to the show, the craziness of the whole weight loss medicines now and how we don't do fancy too well. This week we resurface. We didn't win the lottery or die, just been busy but we pledge to not leave you for this long again. Gary has become sensitive about the size of his legs, kids are wilding out with the one chip challenge and we recited the pledge of allegiance before Thanksgiving dinner.

We recorded this on a cool fall morning. Those are the best. Gary is about to start week 3 after his VSG surgery. Turns out he got to stay in the hospital anyway. Abby recalls her fond times of storytelling as the Cave Run Storytelling Festival is ongoing as is the ol' Sorghum Festival in West Liberty. Festival time is awesome.
