Did we leave on a cliff hanger? Probably not. We wanted to get sit down and talk and do a little reflecting about this year before we attempt to recharge and restart making this every week. This is for us but we like sharing it with everyone too. Merry Christmas!

Last year we released 13 podcasts and this year Abby has already read that many books. Chat with us about how we are like the Kelce family, Abby's reminisces about her kidney stone and yes how our Christmas tree is still up.
Also throw some thoughts to our pal Phillip Smith who is recovering after a fall off a ladder.

We spent the weekend really soaking in some alone time under the guise of being supportive parents. We dish about meeting people who listen to the show, the craziness of the whole weight loss medicines now and how we don't do fancy too well. Make sure you listen to the songs that turn 30 years old this year, it really dealt a blow to our feelings of youth.

We are way out of touch and have realized we don't watch the news, read newspapers or really interact with current events. Do you get your coverage of global events from memes? Just us? Well this week we talk about that void in our life as well as some hot takes in the weight loss world and how seeing the sun every once in a while is probably good for us.

Well why not get one more in before the end of the year. We survived Christmas, a Jack Harlow concert and managed to make some memories. We still were challenged and talked about those things that we could do better on over the year. We paid our respects to those foods that have been sent to the ether including the beloved Choco Taco.
Abby is using Factor meals and we wanna give you a big chunk off so if that's something you're...
This week we resurface. We didn't win the lottery or die, just been busy but we pledge to not leave you for this long again. Gary has become sensitive about the size of his legs, kids are wilding out with the one chip challenge and we recited the pledge of allegiance before Thanksgiving dinner.
Shout out to our Sugar Daddy Phillip who's been staying the course. You can support us too if you feel compelled.

We recorded this on a cool fall morning. Those are the best. Gary is about to start week 3 after his VSG surgery. Turns out he got to stay in the hospital anyway. Abby recalls her fond times of storytelling as the Cave Run Storytelling Festival is ongoing as is the ol' Sorghum Festival in West Liberty. Festival time is awesome.
