absolutely amazing, and she's just dropped this song with UK
artist Nathan Dare. It is an absolute hits called Heart
Steel beating on Clubline Countdown with gem. I love sharing
(01:26):
new artists that I reckon You're gonna love, including American
actress and artist Kayla Devenare. She dropped this song a
few weeks ago, called Date Myself, and she.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Is joining us right now from Los Angeles.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Hello, Hello, and congratulations on your brand new single, Date Myself.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
I love it. What was it like for you working
on it?
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Yeah, I'm so excited to finally out. Date Myself was
just kind of really random, honestly, and I was just
talking to my mom about how many bad dates I've
been on and I was so frustrated, and I was like, Mom,
I kind of just want to like date myself at
this point, just joking, and I was like, wait, that's
kind of a really a cool song idea. So I
just like wrote it down and then when I was
(02:11):
at the studio next week, we just did it and
it just flew out so naturally, and now it's finally
out into the world and I'm so excited for everyone
to finally hear it.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I love that, and I love like the kneaning behind
it as well, because it is frustrating going on date
trying to find the right toast.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
So why it's so annoying, I don't know what anyone
finds their soulmate because it is so hard to have
a good date with a good person.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Yeah, no, I agree, it really is.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
And this song is so empowering as well because that
I'm going to go out, you know, have fun myself.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
I've been taking myself on dates since then and it's
been it's been really fun. So everyone to do the
same thing.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
I agree, everyone should definitely do that. I love all
the songs that you've been releasing so far.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
What is next to you?
Speaker 4 (02:51):
I'm releasing an acoustic version of Date Myself very soon,
which I'm excited about. It definitely shows like a little
bit of a sadder version of the song, which you know,
after listening to that, just listen the original to get
happy again. But in the new year, I'm just gonna
release a bunch of more singles that are just living
in my computer. But I definitely will work my way
up to an EP. I definitely want to like release
(03:12):
a body of work. I think that will be really fun,
and since I've never done that, it could be an
interesting experience.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
That's so exciting and as well, because like you're so
releasing music in twenty twenty. I love that you've got
the theme of Like Justin Bieber and Megan Fox are like,
that's so cool.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
A lot of you know, a lot of people think
it's weird. They're like, who's this girl writing songs about
these random celebrities? But I think I'm gonna keep it going.
I already have some in my computer right now that.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Are wiped back.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
I wonder if Justin Bieber hit this song and like
saw the video.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
I know, I.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Think about that all the time. He's literally weir SE's
on my wall somewhere. Yeah, yeah, sure, I think about
that all the time. I'm like, please, can you hear
my song that I wrote about you?
Speaker 3 (03:56):

Let me know what songs you're loving. I would love
to hear and the number one song it does go
to Miss Taylor Swift. It's been a week now since
she released nineteen eighty nine Taylor's Version, which is the
fourth re recorded album that she's released. And I love
that she's got songs on there from the Voult and
(06:26):
I love seeing all the Swifties comment on the songs.
They're like, this is about this situation, like they literally
know everything. And I love that, Like, if you need
detective work to be done, now you know that Swifties
can find out everything. And I've seen heaps of tweets
of people saying that this song could be a sister
song to Out of the Woods, which is such an
iconic song of Taylor Swift. Let's get it on it is?
(06:48):
