Speaker 3 (00:22):
Many incredible artists touring at the moment. Taylor Swift, Pink
Matchbox twenty. Maybe you've gone and seen them, or you're
about to this weekend. I cannot wait to see Taylor
Swift like her Ariostoll looks incredible and coming up on
the show tonight, we have music by Em Queen Vassi,
(00:47):
a leaper, and guess who's hanging out on the show.
Canadian duo Loud Luxury. This song went seven times platinum
here in Australia and I also mentioned to them that
I listened to one of their songs four hundred and
twenty seven times within six months. I find out their
reaction very soon. I'm super excited for Canadian duo Loud Luxury,
(01:13):
who are joining us all the way from LA And
congratulations on your brand new single with Charlie on our Friday,
Young and Foolish.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
It is so amazing. How did that collaborate?
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Thank you that well? I manifested it because I months
ago was like, I really like Charlie and I love
what he's doing. And then I said in my head
and we should do a song with him. And then
we made it happen and we got together. He's actually,
he's actually really awesome though to work with. Think he
was really great in the studio and he's been really fun,
like because we've been doing some additional shows and stuff
(01:45):
like that and bring him out to perform. So it's
been really awesome experience getting to work with him.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
What's crazy, as we actually.
Speaker 5 (01:51):
Wrote the song as a hip hop song originally, so
it sounded almost like Charlie's other music or like a
Postal Oone song, a totally different vibe. And then Joe
and I took the vocal and then completely made like
a dance track around it and said that to them
and they're like, oh my god, we love this, Like,
let's just do it this way. And then we got
(02:12):
in the studio wrote it roll a whole new verse
around it because it was in a different tempo, and
it was probably the fastest we've ever turned around a song.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
It literally took us like probably two three weeks to finish.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Last year, you guys released a song with BB Rexer
and Two Friends, if Only I Only. This is one
of my favorite songs ever and it was my most
played song on Spotify as well, and I listened.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
To it four hundred and twenty seven times.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Wow, you deserve going to work for that.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
So it's such a good song, Like I love it.
It's summary, it's like it's just a feel good song.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yeah, we had a lot of fun with that one too.
I mean BB also was one of those things where
we didn't really even have to try too hard with
like she just sent us the vocal and then it
was literally the vocal that we just put in the
song is like she sent it to us and we're
like drop it in and it was that.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
I love that because I love like the music video
as well, you did with like two Friends and Babies,
where it looked like so much fun.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, that one is very just evening because it was
actually like a kind of a cloudy, rainy day, so
they were able to make it look through Hollywood magic
like it was a beautiful summer afternoon.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
Yeah, the one day in Malibu where they got rain.
It was like the worst weather I'd ever seen, like
stormy waves coming up on the pier. They just pumped
it with lights around every angle to make it look
like it was sunshine.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
It was kind of nuts.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
You can't really tell that in the video. It looks
like it's like.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
Summer day, right.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
It feels like a nice rvoy at the pavilion in Sydney.
You know, it's so cool, the nice day at the.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Icebergs and you've got your one night in the cave?
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Can you tell us about that?
Speaker 2 (03:46):
That's a performance we're doing like in the middle of nowhere,
and it's actually inside of like a cave.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Like this is like crazy cave.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
So we've heard about it for a while and it's
not something that's easy to do, like it's like kind
of difficult to get to and whatever. But like we're like,
it's going to be really cool to actually be able
to do it, so we got to check it off
the bucket list.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
That's so exciting, Like I love that, Like it's in
a cave in the middle of nowhere.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
We're not just pulling up with speakers and doing it.
It's actually, uh, one of.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
The biggest cave networks in the world, and I guess
they just put a big part of it and built
a concert space in it.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
So after party, I'm going to take fans to plunking.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
We have to get really creative in terms of our
setup though, because you can't bring in like the usual
big like led walls and stuff like that, So we
have to run a bunch of projectors on every wall.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
But it'll make it really trippy. If you look up
videos of it online, it's sick.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Yeah, I have to check it out. You guys have
to do some tiktoks and stuff about it.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
As well, because I know that you guys play TikTok.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Y if you know, there's one thing we're good for
at that.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Yeah, and what can you tell us as well about
the more new music that you're releasing.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Well, we have a lot of new songs that we're
going to be coming out with and one of them
in particular that's coming up is going to be more
of a country vibe, So stay tuned for that.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
That's exciting. I can't wait to hear that.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
Yeah, we're really excited.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
I mean we've been fans of country music for a
long time.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
It just feels like right now has been a really
big year for country music and that's sort of reflecting
in some of the stuff we're making, you know, And
that's just the start of it. What's coming up, So
a lot of great collaborators, very exciting for us.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
I love that I've been listening to music for a
few years now, and I love that body we're still
playing in. It's still such a big hit, Like it
went seven times platinum here in Australia, which is massive.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
Congratulations. Oh yeah, does it.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Make a number one artist in Australia? So then that
way we can come back and tour the whole country again. Yes,
get it for number one, because we are very eager
and keen to come back.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
