You can get in touch anytime. Countdown with Jem on Socials.
And yesterday Selena Gomez dropped her Brandy single Soon It's
called a single son that it is coming up in
the Countdown. You are gonna love it. And also we
(00:37):

REXA and Loud Luxury. They are going to be on
the show. I can't wait to introduce you to them.
They are so talented. Aussie boy Troy Savonne with Rush
on Clubline Countdown with Jem And you know what that
song has in common with this song.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
So took a second Na served me too.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
They're both for by the same co writer Leland. He
is so talented. He's written a bunch of other hits
as well. And can you believe it's been over a
year now since Addison did drop her debut single Obsessed.
You may remember her from TikTok all the video she
was posting. But she's so talented, Like I love that
her music soa pop, It's catchy and it's just so
(01:20):
much fun as well. She kind of reminds me of
like Britney Spears, like her style and stuff like that.
And she did have some unreleased music that got leaked
last year and then she didn't end up releasing more music.
We're all so devastated. But last week we were in
for a treat when she announced that she's dropping her
debut ep ar, which has a bunch of those songs
(01:40):
on there. And she's even got a songe there with
Charlie XCX, which has blown up on TikTok as well.
I love seeing like the trend tweet. It is so funny.
So I'm super excited to introduce you to Matthew and
Eli of DJ producer duo to Friends. They are so talented.
They're from LA and they've got this song out with
a loud Luxury and bby rexa is Only. It's a
(02:06):
feel good anthem called if Only. I. Hey, guys, welcome
to the show. I'm not gonna lie. I've had this
song repeat since it was released and it's so cool.
You guys have done a few performances as well for it.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
It's been really fun. Maybe we did a show here
in Los Angeles and bb came out to sing a
live which was awesome. The only other time we've done
it together live was that Coachella, which was actually the
first time we ever met her. Been a great song
with Luxury and her, definitely something we've been playing every
single show for sure.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
And how did that collaboration come about with you guys?
Speaker 4 (02:35):
We got in I think the studio with Loud Luxury
probably two years ago to like the day almost maybe
even maybe even longer. So it's been a long time
in the in the pipeline, and then we got Baby
involved maybe like a year and a half ago, so
like it went through the woodwork, like we took a
lot of time, effort and people to like get it
to the point where wherever and here's it now. But
(02:59):
we're excited with finally did and you know it's all
for the better because we're steal cow.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Turned out it's just a feel good song and like
instantly when those songs instantly put you in a good mood.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yeah, I mean exactly what you said. It was kind
of funny. We actually for a while we were once
the song was feeling like it was ready and we were, like,
you know, talking about release dates, we all kind of
decided the same thing. With's like a feel good summary songs.
It kind of just you know, made a little sense
to put it out in June, get the summer kicking off.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
And right, well, I guess that's not really summer for
you guys, but summer.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
All summer long. When it when it's summer here as well,
But it's like the perfect song for summer as well.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
It works live, it works like you know, just listening, bbs,
just crush it.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
You know, she just sounds amazing on everything.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
I love that you guys performed it at Coachella and
like as soon as like Bebe went out on stage,
you guys are performing it, we were like, we need
this song, like you have to release it. Then you
guys finally did We got it?
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Teasy, you know we got we gotta do a little
sneak peeks.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Yeah, we did that.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
Like I mean, Coachella must have been over two months
where the song came out, so hundreds of people were
hitting us out like yo, when's this one coming?
Speaker 1 (04:04):
When's this one coming? And it took.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
A while, but we got it exactly so good and
what was it like for you guys performing at because
was it your first time performing there?
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Yeah, it was. It was our first time performing there,
But we grew up in Los Angeles and that was
kind of a premiere festival that everyone from our high
school would go to, so we went. We ended up
going together. We went like five or six times, and
then in college we went a couple extra times. So
we had been between the two of us, you know,
double digit time. So to go back to play totally surreal.
And then with BB two that kind of came together
(04:36):
last second and it was like we didn't know what
was going to happen. We really want to do some
type of special guests, and then when she was able
to come out, it was kind of just you know,
icing on the cake. But that was finally a show
we'll remember forever. I love both weekends.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yeah, I love that. That would have been so special,
especially you guys growing up in LA going to Coachella
so many times, and the actually to be on that
stage and seeing artists who look up to do that
and then you guys got to do it.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Like that's a nice for someone.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
That grows up in LA and then has to work
in La for music stuff in the US. It's definitely,
you know, that's the pinnacle. Now we got to find
a new amount.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
And you guys are busy, you're on the road. What's
it been like for you working on new music. We're
going to hear some more songs soon.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, we have so much in the pipeline.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
You know, being on the road, especially on the bus,
definitely takes you know, a little acclimating to get on
a good routine, and it's hard to find as many
hours in a day, which makes sense. But you know,
we have a lot in the PIPELINEE And now that
we're done with the bus and have you know a
little more time in the studio, We're just in there
every day trying to chip away at a lot of
stuff we've been working on for a while, some newer stuff.
(05:36):
You know. We have some cool sessions coming up, working
with some cool people.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
I cannot wait to hear more new music. I've got
to wrap it a round the questions for you, are
you ready all right?
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Hit us?
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Where is somewhere that you'd love to visit?
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Honestly, I think and this is not just pandering, we
both of us and neither like we're not.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
We haven't been in Australia, so we need to make
our way.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Maybe we'll even parlay that and get some New Zealand
have very great things about them too, so yeah we'll
get a double dose.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Yeah, that'll be amazing. And who was the artists that
In spite.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
We try to, you know, keep listening to new stuff
and keep an open mind. But some of the early inspirations,
I would say Vichi and speech House Mafia probably the
top two.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Describe your music in free wood, organic, fun dance?
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Love that?
Speaker 2 (06:19):
And what is your favorite social media platform?
Speaker 4 (06:22):
I feel like I have different answers maybe for music
versus personal browsing. I definitely find myself on Instagram and
like Twitter the most.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
But Eli's probably a TikTok guy.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
You liked TikTok, You're like, I'm a slave to them all.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
And I did love the TikTok that you guys were
doing for fondly I as well, like.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Oh yeah, people love those.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
And what's something you'd like to achieve this time next year?
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Wow, that's a hard question.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Funny thing is we've always set goals, but at the
same time, all you can do is really try your best.
We've always been super focused and putting in the hours
and the studio and on the APT shows. Just more
and bigger of what we've been doing in terms of
specific goals.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Just keep growing the fan base.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
We have a couple, you know, big surprise shows and
stuff like that. Definitely pushing internationally, you know, pushing into
Australia and Europe and Asia and South America.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
And who's someone that you'd love to collaborate.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
With Blanquinity too, just because we grew up listening to
them ton and there could be a cool kind of
like hybrided the song together.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
It's gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
And what's your most use emoji?
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Probably embarrassingly the blue heart. I don't know why I
should switch that up? Eli, what's yours?
Speaker 3 (07:36):
I'm probably I'm probably the hampstick one, you know?
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Oh yeah, I like that?
Speaker 2 (07:42):
And what's on your backstage?
Speaker 1 (07:43):
To ride up the weirder things? We have?
Speaker 4 (07:45):
One thing we have is a framed picture of two
friends of any two friends of history cartoons.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Alive or dead.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
I could be the promoter and their best friend. So
we get some interesting ones. And then Eli, you you
have yours.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
I collect souvenir turtles, so that's been a recent addition
to the rider, so that can get one from all
the different cities we stop them.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
It's quite the collection.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Thank you guys so much for the chat. Congratulations with everything.
Good to see you guys smashing it.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Thanks so much for the support, Jam, I appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
That is Olivia Rodrigo bad Idea right on club Line
Countdown with Jim and coming in at number two. And
I love seeing all the videos pop up to that
song on TikTok like it is so catchy and it
reminds me of like the early two thousands music. And
I'll be back next week. Australian artist Raria is on
the show. I can't wait to introduce you to our music.
We did play her song earlier on in the show.
(08:38):
