In this episode, Dani speaks with astrologer Hummingbird to seek clarification and a deeper understanding of Astrology.
What is astrology? What are common misconceptions about it? What is the difference between a horoscope and pop astrology?
Additionally, we explore how the real-world applications of astrology and how to use it as a guide or practice to enhance our lives. Hummingbird also shares a bit about her background as an astrologer and a few words for anyone who is on the fence about this ancient practice.
Hummingbird has been doing astrology readings for about six years, and other types of spiritual and energy healing work since 2009. She has a degree in political communications from Emerson College, and I spent her twenties teaching yoga and working as an energy healer. More recently she has pursued education in the overlapping fields of trauma, somatics, and justice. She currently releases a monthly newsletter to anyone interested in the upcoming months' astrological events and more.
