and what you hope to get fromthis podcast and from everything
that I share.

(00:46):
I would love to hear from you.
Today we are going to be talkingabout a beauty routine for fall
.
Fall is in the air, even thoughit doesn't feel like it here.
I mean, it's almost 100 degreeshere.
It does not feel like falloutside, but fall is here and I
am going to start embracing thechange of fall, even though it

(01:07):
is so, so hot outside, it feelslike the middle of summer and I
have started to get some newclothes that fit me better and
I'm working on a new exerciseroutine and just trying to
finish out this last quarter ofthe year strong and that's like
my main focus for this last partof the year is just to focus on
my health and my fitness and itwill just get me so much

(01:29):
further ahead for 2025.
So I'm really excited for that.
Fall is a perfect time to kindof change things up.
We kind of change ourlifestyles a little bit.
Maybe our routines change alittle bit as we get into the
holiday season, and it's just areally good time to refresh our
beauty routines and ourself-care routines.
First thing that I think ofthat, I think is probably like

(01:53):
one of the main points of beautyis skincare.
We come from the warm summermonths and we get to cooler
temperatures, drier air, andit's really important that you
are taking care of your skinduring this change.
Some tips that I have are tomake sure that you're using a
really high quality, richmoisturizer, something that is

(02:17):
going to leave your skin feelingsoft and is going to lock in
that moisture and not leave youfeeling dry.
I recently have found the bestmoisturizer.
I was using one before and Iwas just not happy with it.
It just was kind of watery.
It was really thin, lightweightand it just left my face not

(02:39):
feeling nourished andmoisturized.
It was just.
I just did not feel good afterI would wear it the first time.
I well, really even when I justopened the jar and then and I
saw how thick this moisturizerwas and then I put it on my face
, I instantly fell in love.
So I will link that in the shownotes below If you want to

(02:59):
check that out.
It is such a good moisturizer.
Find a good moisturizer that youlove, that works for you, and
then maybe even consider puttingin a serum into your skincare
routine.
Something with hyaluronic acidcan be really really great to
help keep your skin plump andradiant, have that glow as we

(03:19):
get into the colder months.
You won't lose that summer glowif you're using a really high
quality serum.
One serum that I really like iscalled All Nighter.
I will link it in the shownotes below.
This is a retinol serum.
Retinol is really awesome foryour skin because it can really
help those fine lines and thosewrinkles and it kind of plumps
up your skin and gives you likea nice glow.

(03:41):
This serum also has somethingcalled BTX in it.
It's advanced BTX.
This is a formula that BeautySociety owns and Beauty Society
it's patented, and so nobodyelse can use it except for this.
So this is the only serum thatyou will be able to find this
awesome ingredient in, and it'sbasically going to give you that

(04:04):
same effects that, like Botoxwould give you, but it's just in
a face serum, so so much deeperthan Botox and a lot less
painful, and I have reallyreally loved using this and
putting it into my night routine.
Another thing to really consideras you're doing your skincare
transition is to make sureyou're exfoliating.

(04:26):
After summer, we're going tohave a lot of sun exposure to
our skin and there's going to bea lot of dead skin, so
exfoliating can help remove thatdead skin and rejuvenate your
complexion and give a nicesurface for the new skin to come
and just have this nice, beautiful glow and your makeup
will sit on your face so muchbetter if you get rid of all

(04:49):
that dead skin.
I will link the serum that Ireally like in the show notes
below.
But the serum that I like itlifts away the dead surface skin
so that it helps withhyperpigmentation and larger
pores, and then it will give youa nice, even slate for that new
skin to come, and it just makesyour skin so much happier.
So, yeah, exfoliate, gentleexfoliate, don't do anything

(05:11):
crazy.
It is your face.
Your skin is really delicate onyour face, so make sure it's
nothing that's too aggressive.
And then also make sure you'rewearing SPF even though it's
fall I know like it can be.
Something is super easy to skipand just think, oh, I don't
need it.
But it is so important toprotect your skin even when the

(05:34):
temperatures outside are coolerthan they are in the summer.
It's especially important ifyou're using any type of serum
on your face, so anything thathas like retinol in it or
glycolic acid.
You're going to want to makesure that you are using SPF
every day.
So do yourself a favor and makesure you don't skip that.
If you want a skincare quiz,I'd be happy to send you a

(05:54):
skincare quiz.
Dm me @ Confidently BeautifulPodcast on Instagram or you can
find me on Facebook and I willsend you that quiz so you can
know what exactly to look for inyour skincare regimen.
All of my listeners who are adoula, a photographer, you have
an Etsy shop, you have aclothing boutique, you're an
esthetician, you're a realtor,you have a house cleaning

(06:15):
business, you're a life coach,whatever it is.
If you have a small business, listen up, because I have
something for you.
I have come across an amazingemail system.
It is flowdeskcom slash C,slash confident.
If you go there, you can get50% off your very first year.
That's a big deal.
50% off, that's awesome.
Flowdesk is amazing and let metell you why I love it.

(06:36):
I can segment all of mycustomers into different,
basically, groups Think of itthat way and I can have it so
that if somebody joins my emaillist, they are automatically
sent out a drip of emails.
I changed it to it so that itwas over a week time, but you
can completely customize it toyourself and this will
automatically get them set up onyour email campaign.

(06:56):
Get them the information thatyou're wanting send out those
freebies, whatever it is thatyou're offering.
It automatically sends it tothem for you and you can easily
create emails that you can sendas often as you want.
I do mine once a week and it'sjust so easy.
I have the template, I have mybrand, I can make it all look
the same every week, so I havethat consistency flodesk.
com/c/confident I absolutelylove it.

(07:17):
So go to flo desk and you canget 50% off your first year.
Let's get back to the episode.
Adjusting your makeup for thefall is another really awesome
way to refresh your beautyroutine.
So switching out yourfoundation.
Summer tans are going to startto fade.

(07:38):
Your skin tone may become alittle bit lighter, so maybe try
going like one shade lighter infoundation as you're making
this transition.
That way you won't look likeyou're too orangey or too dark.
It will just look nice andnatural and match your lighter
skin as we get into these coolermonths.
My personal favorite foundationis a Serum Plus foundation.

(08:02):
This is made with sodiumhyaluronate and it's a form of
hyaluronic acid that helps yourskin appear healthier and
hydrated and bouncy, and it alsois made with an amino acid
derivative which is known tohelp protect skin from the blue
light damage and otherenvironmental stressors that can

(08:22):
really really do damage to ourskin.
So I personally love thisfoundation because it is a
lightweight, really reallybeautiful, flawless foundation,
but also has the serum builtinto it, so it's like your skin
care and your foundation all inone, which is really cool.
I will link that in the shownotes if you want to check that

(08:43):
foundation out, maybe even foryour makeup.
Consider like rich, warm tones, like think of anything that's
like earthy tones.
It's a really good time of yearto lean into those deeper
shades for your lips or youreyeshadow, or maybe like a more
rich blush shade.
It's a really fun time to playwith some colors and bring some

(09:06):
deep richness into your routine.
I personally like the warmerbrowns.
You could also do someburgundies, some plums, anything
to like.
Compliment that fall vibe.
I will be sharing a lot oftutorials as the fall gets
further on and I will have fundifferent colors that you can
try and tutorials on how to getcertain eyeshadow looks, my

(09:30):
personal favorite lipsticks andthings that you can try this
fall.
So make sure that you'refollowing me on social media and
I will share all of my tips andtricks and you can see what you
like and what you want to try.
My third tip is to embrace abrand new fall wardrobe refresh.
This doesn't mean you need togo spend like a whole bunch of
money, but just look throughyour stuff, take out what you

(09:51):
don't like.
Anything that you didn't wearlast fall you're probably not
going to wear this fall.
So just get rid of it, justtake it out of your closet, make
room for a fresh and new andjust have the things in your
closet that you really, reallylove.
I think that it's really fun tohave this transition in the
weather because we can switch tolike lighter, breezier clothing
, have some cozy layers that'smy favorite and just to embrace

(10:18):
the change with whatever you arefeeling, but don't have any
pressure.
I think that, like investing inlike just a few fall staples
like a really, really nicesweater, some, maybe some boots
that you can wear like casual ormaybe dress up, um, and a
really nice quality coat, likethose are just even just those
three things.
Like you will feel so muchbetter with your fall staples.

(10:40):
Something that I have just hadto accept the importance of is
to take the time to end themoney to invest in clothes that
will actually fit you.
Well.
That might mean that you'regoing to have to size up after
the summer, and that is okay.
You're going to be so much moreconfident if you're in clothes
that will actually fit you, andit's normal for our bodies to

(11:02):
change, and feelinguncomfortable in our clothes is
not a good way to feel confident.
So we want to feel confident inour clothes and so if we're
having clothes that fit, we'regoing to feel so much more
confident with ourselves.
I'm eight months postpartum.
I'm still adjusting to my bodypostpartum and I also, last fall
, was pregnant, and so theclothes that I wore last fall

(11:24):
and definitely the clothes I'mwearing this fall like they're
totally different than what Iwore two falls ago, and so I
took the time and invested inmyself and I got a different
size, and that is definitelyokay.
So get clothes that you feelcomfortable in, get rid of the
clothes that you don't like andkeep the ones that you do, and
don't forget to have confidencein your natural beauty.

(11:46):
Yes, it's a new season, we'regoing to embrace this new fall
and we want to have thosefeelings of like newness and a
new time to kind of change, butdon't forget to feel confident
in just your natural glow.
Don't focus on transforming whoyou are, but instead just focus
on how you can enhance yournatural elements that you

(12:09):
already have.
So you can do subtleenhancements like fall.
Beauty routines should just becomplimentary to your features
and not overshadow them.
Don't do anything that's notauthentic to you.
So you could try just usingsome lighter bronzers.
Yes, I did say maybe go embracethose warmer, richer colors, but
maybe just do like more of anatural lip tint or a soft blush

(12:33):
as you're easing into some andfiguring out what feels
authentic to you and your styleand how you want to present your
natural beauty.
And I think that it's reallyimportant to be confident in the
skin that we are in, withoutbeing pressured.
I recently bought a supertrendy pair of jeans, pants and

(12:53):
a shirt that is like a prettytrendy style and I tried it on.
I got it and I was like, hey,I'm going to be so cute, I'm
wearing the top trends.
I tried it on and I absolutelyhated it and I just let myself
be like, nope, this is not me,this does not look like me, I
don't like it and I returned it.
And so I think to remember tojust feel good with what we're

(13:14):
wearing and just be confident tolike our own natural beauty and
our own authentic selves, Ithink is a really important
thing to remember this fallQuick recap is switching up your
makeup, hydrate your skin, beconfident with your wardrobe
choices and embrace that naturalbeauty that you already have
and be authentic to yourself.

(13:35):
Message me if you want askincare quiz.
I would love to help you findyour perfect regimen so that you
know what exactly to be lookingfor.
And next Tuesday we are goingto be talking about tips for
managing mom guilt, so staytuned for that and I am excited
to be talking to you about that.
Thank you so much for listeningand tuning in, and just a
reminder to take care ofyourselves as you're

(13:56):
transitioning into fall.
Stay confidently beautiful.
